Wow, this must be where VIPs get their dental work. This place was so comfortable and the customer service is incomparable. The waiting room is relaxing. Honestly, I chose Dr. Sayyah at first because they had movies and blankets - I'm into the comfort factor when I'm at the dentist. But I didn't expect just how awesome Dr. Sayyah would be. He's different from any dentist I've ever worked with. For one thing, the guy is the most gentle dentist on the planet. He takes his time, and he and his sweet dental assistant are so calming and kind. For another, he's such a gentleman and truly treasures his patients. You are absolutely not a number here. He's never been late with an appointment for me. And it may seem minor, but he took the time at the end of my first appointment to walk me out and point out where the ladies' room is. Any other dentist I've seen is LONG gone by the end of the appointment and wouldn't make the extra effort, but he does. Dr. Sayyah does great work, and I've brought my entire family over to his practice. He does awesome with my teens as well, and worked MAGIC with my high functioning autistic son who got his first filling while awake! This was nothing short of a miracle! With past dentists, I've encountered some interesting personalities at the front desk - from unprofessionalism to incompetence - not what you want when you're dealing with insurance. I'm happy to say that Kari at the front desk at Redmond Town Dental is a delight to work with - she is always professional, really sharp, a quick responder, and friendly to boot. (They also humor me and fast forward the movie "Up" 10 minutes so that I won't cry.) :) I always walk out of there much more calm than I arrived, and this is the only dental practice I'd EVER say that about! I love love love Redmond Town Dental! This is the absolute best experience i've ever had, from walking in the door to getting work done to walking out. The short version: appointments were easy to make, everyone is super friendly, and i didn't feel any pain at all - i couldn't believe it! the office smells wonderful (no medicinal "dentist" smell, you know what i mean!) and you can watch movies while they work on you. I also think that it's not as expensive as some of the other local dentists who quoted me 100+ more dollars for the same work i received at redmond town dental. The details: I broke a tooth that needed a crown, so I researched a few places and actually made an appointment at another dentist. but i had a gut feeling that i should call redmond town dental too. So i called and Bana, who took my appointment, was incredibly friendly and personable and made me feel like I made the right choice before I even met Dr. Sayyah. I called the other dentist office and cancelled my appointment with them in favor of Dr. Sayyah's office - best decision ever! When I arrived, Bana was even more wonderful! All my charges were explained clearly and ahead of time, so that you have no surprises coming to you. She answered more of my questions on the way in and way out. When I saw Dr. Sayyah, he was so calm and genuinely kind that I was at ease right away. He listens to everything you say, talks clearly about the work/options that is available to you and takes his time (which i really appreciate). His assistant is equally wonderful and skilled, too! She's so friendly and offered me blankets in case I was cold. Over two appointments, I had the tooth repaired and a full check up of my teeth. For the actual work, I had nitrous oxide. If you have the option, get this! It is very relaxing with no ill side effects. Best of all, for the first time ever, there was no pain when the novocaine shots were being administered. I also watched a movie (there is a huge selection) while he went to work. You put on big headphones that help drown out the drill sound and tune you into the movie. I was actually so relaxed i could have FALLEN ASLEEP. how crazy is that? I am going back for teeth cleaning in a few days and for once I am actually looking forward to it. Until recently, I couldn't even picture that anyone could ever be so happy with their dentist that they take the time to post a review online. That concept was completely foreign to me. I always saw going to the dentist as a necessary evil. Yet, here I am, doing the praising... A sudden and major toothache turned out to be a blessing. I found Dr Sayyah on the internet while looking for a dentist that was open on a Saturday. It only took a couple visits at Redmond Town Dental to cure my (mostly unwarranted, I have to admit, yet very real) fear of dentists. Going to the dentist is of course still a "chore," but it's now a chore with which I'm more than happy to deal. Dr Sayyah and his staff have raised the bar (as well as my expectations) when it comes to hospitality. When I go there, I don't feel like I'm just another patient waiting in line to be seen, or being worked on. I feel genuinely welcome, and cared for. Obviously I would (and do) recommend Dr Sayyah to anyone looking for a new dentist in the area. I can't say enough good things about Dr. John Sayyah! I hadn't been to a dentist in ten years. I had a terrifying experience with my previous dentist. It involved no pain killers and a nurse sitting on my chest to hold me down. The stuff of nightmares! So, after getting my new insurance, I knew I was well past due for a check up. Even with the support of my husband I was shaking on my way in. This was relieved almost instantly upon walking into the waiting room. It's very chic and comfortable. The ambiance is very mellow and sedate without being boring. To top it off, the lady at the desk was warm, inviting, and professional. Since it was my first visit in a while and I was still beside myself, Dr. Sayyah took it easy. We started with Xrays then moved into a quick check of my teeth. We saved the actual cleaning for a later appointment so I could ease into the experience. Dr. Sayyah was so patient and gentle! An all around nice guy. I left the office feeling calm and quite pleased. He isn't the type that pushes unnecessary procedures on you. Even though I had a few weak points in my teeth he didn't want to rush to drilling. He recommended some prescription toothpaste to firm them up and said we'd check back later. Most recently, I had my wisdom teeth removed. I was prescribed sedatives which I took a few hours of. I've got to say I barely remember anything of the procedure. I think we might have overdone the dosage a bit but when I got to the office I was still wide awake. Afterward...well..I have no idea how my husband got me to walk into the house! But the best part was after I woke up: No pain! None at all! After all the horror stories people told me about having your wisdom teeth removed this was a pleasant surprise. A few days later my mouth is all but healed and I never had even a twinge of pain. Best dentist I've ever had!! The first time I went there I was extremely nervous! I've always had problems with my teeth so I have seen more dentists that u can imagine! Fortunately, Dr. Sayyah was different than all the ones I've been to. He is gentle, careful, and never EVER hurts u in ANY way (eg: pull ur cheek too much ets). When u walk in, the staff welcomes u in a very friendly way and puts u at ease. They directly took me to the back so I didn't have to wait at the reception. When they saw how nervous I was they brought me hand warmers and a blanket. Also, if the work takes more than 30min, they give u a list of movies u can watch while he is working on ur teeth. They have a suspended TV that the Dr can adjust in order for u to get the best view; they also give u headphones so u only listen to the movie and not the sound of the tools (some people dont like the buzzing sound). Anyway, I had a root canal done and I didnt feel a thing during and after the procedure!!! He did a perfect job! Then I got a crown and he also did the best work possible. The staff is very nice and the atmosphere is very comfortable! I always say it's like going to the SPA but instead of getting ur nails done, u get ur teeth fixed ;) I am surprised there aren't more reviews but all I can say is: I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR!! read more

Dr. Sayyah has been my dentist for 7 years, and he's great! He takes care of the things that need to be taken care of, keeps tabs on the things that don't need to be taken care of, and doesn't over-treat -- no unnecessary procedures here, but he's willing to do the hard work that needs to be done. He's a nice guy and is always happy to answer as many questions as I have. Everyone in the office is friendly. They do a great job of keeping me on track for regular appointments: they have me schedule my next regular appointment while I'm in the office (6 months in advance), send me reminders as it gets closer, and help me reschedule as needed. They also have a big window that you can look out & watch the birds through while you're getting dentistry done -- very relaxing. Would highly recommend! read more

Best experience I've ever had from a dentist. The office a bit small, but atmosphere is comfortable and warm. It may seem like a minor concern for a dentist, but the ambiance really does put you at ease and make you more comfortable. The actual room where they work on your teeth is a second-story corner office for the building, and gets a lot of natural light. Every member of the staff I have interacted with has been welcoming and friendly. Especially Dr. Sayyah; he is friendly and personable, and seems to genuinely care about his patients. What I noticed the most is that he actually takes the time to explain what he's seeing and doing - not just "your teeth are good", but actually walking you through an x-ray and showing you where the wear is and how it could be prevented. The cleaning was painless, which was a new experience for me (I figured dentists repeatedly stabbing your gums was normal until now). Equipment seemed impressively new and modern, at least compared to other dentists I have visited. I have some good insurance, but it didn't seem like he was pushing to abuse it. He could have easily recommended additional work, but was honest about the relative merits of various alternatives, and I never felt any pressure to undergo additional work. read more

Dr. Sayyah and his staff make it a relaxing and comfortable experience. The cameras don't bother me because I understand they're a necessary evil in this situation. I am so happy with Dr. Sayyah and all people there. First, Alison is awesome, she makes scheduling very simple. Second, Dr. Sayyah always gives you estimate before you make your appointment, so that you know what is to be done for your teeth and the cost. Third, his dental assistant (the Asian lady, I forgot the name, sorry), she is so nice and knowledgeable, and gentle to your teeth. Finally, I have some cavities and filling that need to be replaced, and the process was painless from start to end. He knows what he is doing, very skillful, and it was a quick process. Dr John has got magical hands !!! Truly awesome experience. Dr John is very gentle and involve you pretty well. He has pretty cool techniques to reduce any discomfort during and post procedures. By the time i get their call to check couple of days after the procedures, i almost forget i had something. I've been fearful of the dentist all my life. It is even harder to go after you've had bad experiences. I was so thankful to find Redmond Town Dental. It is completely out of my way now that I have moved, but there is no way I am changing dentists now. Dr. Sayyah is gentle, explains thoroughly, and does not suggest fixing things that aren't broken or that you don't need at the moment. My first visit he even gave me a free fluoride treatment to welcome me to the practice. What a guy. And the front desk staff is also, so very helpful. I'll be there as long as Dr. Sayyah is. Redmond Town Dental has been our family's dentist for years. I called their office years ago when I had a tooth emergency. Other dentists would not see me on a weekend but Dr. Sayyah welcomed me to the office and was so kind and caring. I have lots of dental anxiety but Dr Sayyah was very knowledgeable and gentle and really was great at making me feel relaxed. Shortly there after, I started bringing my kids and husband. 9 months of pain after ordinary change of 2 fillings, resulted in 2 root canals, lots of complications and more than $5000 in out of pocket expenses plus all coverage from my insurance plan. It's quite normal that your insurance contact you regarding some phantom charges from him. Terrible overall experience and I'll not recommend this dentist to anyone. I was searching a good clinic in Redmond area and was attracted by the good reviews given to this clinic. I started my treatment with Dr John Sayyah. He is a good person and politely communicates with his patients. Unfortunately the office manager, Bana is not that competent. While my insurance should have covered all the expenses that I had in the clinic, she claimed that my expenses would not be covered and made me pay it. The receptionist was extremely friendly but I had to tell her I had to look elsewhere due to that policy. It's hard enough to get my husband into the dentist and miss work.
