A few months ago my elderly mother with dementia was admitted to Evergreen Hospital after breaking her ankle. We were told she didn't need surgery and would be discharged in a day or so, but after a week she was still there. Everyone had dropped the ball (from the insurance company, hospital staff, social worker, and the rep at Bellevue Healthcare - no one had any sense of urgency to resolve this situation) and every day, my parents were racking up a massive hospital bill. I called Bellevue Healthcare and was lucky enough to speak with Shannon (thank God!) instead of the rep who was supposed to be 'responsible' for our case. Shannon immediately took charge of the situation and within 24 hours got a hospital bed delivered and installed at my parents' home. As a result, we were able to also get my mom discharged that same day. Without Shannon's help, I dread to think how long my mom might have been stuck in hospital while everyone on the 'care team' pointed their fingers at someone else instead of taking responsibility. Shannon has continued to be an invaluable resource for us over the last few months and has helped us with so many situations. Our entire family is so grateful for her. God bless her! read more

They don't call you back to follow through after receiving doctor orders that were sent (and confirmed) on 5/29 and never responded (May 11th and already approved by insurance). Someone responded to a voicemail to tell me they cannot help me (I guess there is a specific person that you have to talk to-nobody else can help, hopefully they never go on vacation). This was higher rated than my previous provider so very disappointed in their lack of care or concern. read more

1. I was provided with a non-working email address to send my Rx to. 2. Your online website for submitting Rx's sucks. I don't know if it "took" my request or not. 3. Nobody answers telephone calls. I left a message to call me back on Friday. As of end of business on Monday, no return calls. 4. I went to the Everett store personally Friday afternoon. They could not find any record of my Rx order. They promised me that someone would call me back the following day, Saturday. As of end of business on Monday, no call. My experience comports with other similar customer experiences. I have a master's degree in management. I know a good business when I see one. This sure as hell isn't a well-run business. Run. Unfortunately, they don't accept my insurance so I'm looking for another provider in the area, but the fact that someone even answered the phone and my questions was amazing!! These guys were great! After arriving in Everett from Portland for a conference, to my dismay we found we had left my crutches at home. They were very helpful and friendly on the phone and when I arrived they helped me go through the different choices and unwrapped a pair of crutches and sized them for me. Really helpful. I'm happy I could find this place. I hurt myself in a fall and needed a scooter for a few days. Funny how this was just about the only place that rents medical equipment on the weekends. I mean, people only need equipment during the work week, right? Of course my insurance didn't list them as a preferred provider, but $40 for a weeks' rental wasn't so bad. I attempted to get a walker from Bellevue Healthcare and was thwarted at every turn. My doctor faxed in a request. When I called to be sure they had received it they told me no. The doctor refaxed the request. This time they assured me they had it and I went in to pick out a walker. I was told Medicare would only pay for a little foldable walker with that referral. Again, the doctor faxed an amended referral. Back I went to pick up the four-wheel walker I has chosen. They gave me a different walker saying Medicare would not pay for the brand I had chosen. When I got home, I discovered that walker would not fit through the bedroom doors. Back to the store to return it and find a different one. Then I was told they could not sell me a smaller one since I weigh more that the weight limit by 15 pounds. Each visit and phone call I had to wait and extraordinary amount of time. I don't have any idea where I can go to get a walker that will fit my needs and be paid for by Medicare. Don't even get me started with the issues with Medicare! read more

If I could rate less I would. Very unprofessional. Waited a long time just to be told needed to call adjuster to make sure I was covered. I had a prescription for a knee scooter. Left she never called so traveled there and was told she was to busy to call. She called me 30 min before they closed telling me it was approved and I could come get it. So I went again next morning only to wait again and was told by 2 other females they were still waiting on approval. They told me again they were really busy, but yet nobody in there. I have gone there twice , which is very difficult on crutches. So I asked for my prescription back and I would go somewhere else. The girls laughed and said good luck finding one. They send you annoying automated supply reordering phone calls with NO option to speak to a human, they send you supplies that are incompatible with the machine that THEY provided, and their billing department will send you to collections without sending an invoice or even calling...even though they have your credit card on file!! The end of July 2023 I purchased a $3000.00 c-pap machine from Bellevue Medical Supply in Everett, WA then all of sudden it just quit working on me at the end of February so I brought it back to Bellevue Medical Supply store in Everett, Wa to see if they could fix it or give me a new one. So I've been checking on it at least once or twice an and no luck and here I am suffering like crazy with no c-pap machine for 5-weeks and seriously looks like no one at that office even gives a shit! I was standing at the front desk telling them how much I'm suffering without my c-pap machine and no respons/cold stone faces. Not even a nod yes or no! And coldly said that the respiratory staff is not in and we can't touch it and we'll call you once she's in. Never no call from them at all what so ever. So now it's been 5 weeks without my c-pap machine with no sleep, headaches, burning itchy eyes and I'm having a hard time breathing. And they literally don't care! read more

I had a broken leg about three months ago. When I was in the hospital with 20+ stitches doctor recommend getting a bed, wheel Chair, walker, potty and all my hygienic needs. I call George and explain him the situation. It was a Friday and doctor planning to release me from the hospital on Sunday. Well it was so surprise when George told me Jay I will deliver the items after 5.00 on Saturday. He was very helpful person I came across during my broken foot encounter. Then later in my recovery I need canes and it was delivered on time to my doorstep and the staff was so helpful. I can recommend them to any one any time for above and beyond service. It is a stretch to be able to add a review with one star which is not even deserved. Calling 5 times no return calls. I had the prescription with diagnosis faxed twice and still no follow up from them. When I start to lose my cool they said they r too busy and understaffed. No follow up from Monday to Friday. Because I have a broken ankle and was never contacted again I bought the knee scooter I needed myself on offerup. Very rude inefficient customer service. read more

Our daughter's specialized wheelchair was broken by Alaska Airlines baggage handlers during a flight from Los Angeles to Seattle. Without that wheelchair, we were not going to be able to go on a cruise to Alaska that departed the following morning. Tim from Bellevue Healthcare took it upon himself to go get new parts to replace the broken one and stayed past his normal work hours to ensure that the wheelchair was fixed and returned to us before the end of the day. He kept us informed of the progress and was a joy to work with. Thanks to his efforts, we took the cruise on the following morning. Great Service!!!! read more

Took my chair in for a simple tire replacement & they gave me a "loaner chair" that's akin to wandering around in a shopping cart that only goes in one direction. It also tries to close up on me when I transfer out of it. FIVE weeks later and still haven't gotten my chair back & NOBODY seems to know anything! We were set up with George for a cpap machine! He really took his time and explained everything on how to use the machine that I feel like I could teach someone how to use it. He set me up with different masks answered all my questions. He was extremely helpful and professional! He let me know if I had problems if something wasn't working or uncomfortable or even if I had questions to just call and let them know and they would take care of it! I feel confident that I know how to use this machine and care for it. I've had an extremely positive experience with this company from beginning to end. I highly recommend them. Hard to even give them a 1. I went to the Redmond location to get a medical device for my knee replacement. They didn't have it in stock so they found a unit at the Everett location. I spoke with George, who said they had one and he would hold it for me. I went there the next day and, go figure, George says there were none available. I can only surmise that George is a flake and, given the number of other frustrated customers I see on Yelp, this must be a common thing with this company. I won't be going back - EVER. read more

I really want to thank Tim at the Everett location. I graduated from a walker to crutches, and when I went to pick them up, the paperwork wasn't there. Since I can't drive, making it from Lynnwood to Everett is a real hassle, what with Medicabs & DART transport taking their own sweet time. But Tim cut through all the red tape and got me my crutches that same visit. He even let me relax in one of the lift chairs while I waited for my return trip. I don't give low reviews, so this is a problem. I have been trying to get a CPAP mask for months. I called the number at this site multiple times and finally went in because the messages were doing nothing. The person who "fit" me didn't even try the mask on my face. He handed me one in the package. It still doesn't fit. I called my doctor because I couldn't use the machine. The doctor was appalled because the company didn't follow the standard of care which is to put multiple masks on your face to fit. I called, again, to ask if they would fit me for the mask. I left a question on their website and a manager called and said someone will call you. No one called me. 2 week later, I left another message on their website and someone emailed me back, "We tried to call you on 6/26, but you voice mail was full." They never tried to contact me, again, let alone the fact that I am unable to use the machine. So, a random missed call on my phone is all I get. I've been trying to get back up there to get help. Thankfully, I was able to figure out how to change the settings on my machine on my own because no one at the site has done anything since I went in to talk to my doctor about not being able to breath on the machine over a month ago. When my daughter was fit for her machine, they came to the house and did it when we had time, there was actual communication and someone would call you back. At this point, whoever is fitting the CPAP masks is out for a really long lunch. I still have yet to receive any paperwork on how to clean the mask. Nothing works and I can't get a human being to talk to me. I can't get up to the site, I had time a month and a half ago when I drove up, but now I have to take time off from a new job, which isn't going to happen. read more

My husband was knocked off a ladder, was in the hospital for 5 days and then sent home. We realized the first night that he couldn't breath with 7 broken ribs without a hospital bed so we ordered one from Bellevue Healthcare, Everett. They were able to bring it that day which was great. However, the customer service quickly went downhill from there. They charged me at the time of delivery without bringing up or discussing insurance considerations. When I found out it was covered I called BHC and asked them to talk to my husband's doctor so that the insurance could be billed. They said they would take care of it but they never did. When the second month bill was past due the store representative was visibly angry with me for not paying the bill, and still the insurance issue was not addressed. I had to ask my Doctor's office to call BHC to get it sorted out. After we returned the bed we received a refund for some of the original money we paid for the first month bed rental. A couple of weeks later we received a bill for $52.02 for what wasn't covered under insurance, which could have been taken out before the refund was sent out if it was owed. However, the numbers don't add up so it appears to us we don't owe them anything. I called their customer service to ask for an explanation. Their customer service requires you to leave a voice mail of your concerns which I did and I didn't hear anything back from their billing department. Now I received a past due invoice saying if I didn't pay the $52.02 within 15 days they would begin to add penalties to the bill. I have yet to be able to contact a human being in the billing department and the store refers me to them. When your family has to deal with an emergency and your income is minimal because of it, you don't need this headache. I do not recommend Bellevue Healthcare Everett. Get your bed and medical equipment somewhere else. read more

They have every type of splint you can imagine, a huge selection of walkers, all kinds of home safety supplies (grab bars, lift chairs, etc.) and so many useful items for anyone with limited dexterity.
