I'll admit I have mall nostalgia, so whenever I step into one, I get a certain feeling. Most Malls…read morethese days are only a small percent of what they once were. Crossroads is sort of a hybrid strip and indoor mall which collectively keep itself going. Crossroads indoor portion is held up by a strong food court, it's "Public Market" with a lot of options - burgers, Mexican, Thai, sushi, Indian, Boba, Korean, Hawaiian and more. On top of that, there are plenty of seats. I'd even go so far to say that the Food Court is the main attraction here and the other stores are secondary, which include Old Navy, Hallmark and other services - Mini Library, information about Bellevue and such. The Mall itself looks kept up and seems to be doing well enough to keep going, so I say that's good. People clearly endorse it. I was here on a weekday afternoon for work. I sat down to take a rest and two separate families walked up with their children and put them in those 'coin-operated riding machines'. Moments before this happened, I asked myself "does anyone use these things anymore?". My question was answered. Crossroads is alive.

The photos show a fairly empty mall mid day. Huge and wide open spaces. Good lighting too. The value would depend on which store you're looking at. The parking lot around this mall is always busy. Which leads me to believe it's a fairly popular place. I do frequent the Amazon Fresh not necessarily connected directly to the mall but next door. There is a Nordstrom Rack, lakeshore education store, and of course the T&T Supermarket on one end of the mall. So yes, a large selection of shopping choices with various values. Any stores I've visited had good service. Security is always seen circulating the area which makes me happy too. Enjoy life! SYOY!

Factoria is a neighborhood of Bellevue, WA, and has a dedicated shopping mall (Marketplace at…read moreFactoria) that people around the area will go to. Recently, a large Asian grocery opened as one of the outdoor anchors, so we decided to come down. We noticed right away how crowded the outdoor surface lots were, and that there was a line extending outside to get into the grocery store, so we nixed that idea. Instead, we found a less crowded parking area on the other side of the mall. It is a one story indoor mall, with a mix of small businesses, kiosks, and big anchor stores. The layout is definitely from an earlier time, but unlike malls like this in California which are closed or just empty, this one had a fair amount of shoppers milling around. One thing to note are that some of the anchor stores are not connected to the indoor mall at all, instead requiring you to walk outside and through parking to get where you want to go. Like I said, not a great layout.

This is an okay shopping center in the Overlake area. It is anchored by a Safeway store and has a…read morenumber of notable restaurants like Bai Tong, Mandarin Buffet and Nine Way. It is never really busy, so I always seem to able to find a decent parking spot very easily. The exterior of the shopping center is older-looking and seems primed for redevelopment in the near future, based on its central location.

The selection is pretty diverse in terms of types of food - burgers, ramen, pasta, sushi, pizza, Thai (vegan) and more... it's all here! For a little treat, grab ice cream at Salt & Straw, a boba tea from Don't Yell at Me, or a coffee and pastry at 203º Fahrenheit Coffee. It's tough to resist any of these. With this being an outdoor shopping center, it's the most lively during the spring and summer. There is a main outdoor seating area near the cinema and tables here fill up pretty quickly during the warmer months with people who opt for takeout from one of the casual eateries. Across the street, smaller sections of seating are accompanied by fireplaces. I've been grateful for the fireplaces and heat lamps during the wintertime! Other than exploring the food options, I enjoy browsing Nordstrom Rack and could spend hours at the Barnes & Noble. Trader Joe's and Whole Foods are also here. Along with these larger stores, there is a variety of small boutique-like shops, providing an opportunity to support the small businesses. As for parking, the main lot in front of Trader Joe's and Nordstrom Rack get pretty crowded, so I'd recommend parking in the garage on the side of Chase bank. Each parking spot in this garage has a light over it that turns red if occupied and green if available, making it really easy to navigate. With spring right around the corner, I'm sure I'll find myself here again shortly!

I initially had some reservations about finding parking since the outer lots were pretty full and busy due to the Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, but as I walked into the middle of the area, I realized that there were also free parking garages that I could have used. Thoughtfully enough, they even had the number of spaces available displayed on the entrances. This place must get super busy to need that feature! I liked how the greenery was well kempt, and how there were navigational signs so you don't get lost. I went to the Paper Source, Due Cucina, and Don't Yell At Me. Super convenient! I guess the only thing I wished it could have was a better way to travel there through public transportation.

From quick food like Shake Shack, to sit down restaurants like Dough Zone, there's a lot of places you can't miss. Parking is available for street or in the garage up to 2 hours, i'd recommend parking on street unless you're heading in to QFC for two hours in the garage, you will need it validated. The service in Kirkland is great in every store, everyone is polite and clean.

I loved that there is a ample parking spaces here so finding a spot wouldn't be a problem. We stopped her for just for one shop, which is LA Bean, my daughter wanted to get a Vietnamese coffee drink. After getting her drink we walked around the plaza to see what other shops are here, I see many great shops, besides LA Bean, there's various retail shops, such as Arte, Cabinetry, Mama's Kitchen, Nail design, Bricks & Wheels, Katsu Burger & North. Great and convenient location at Miller Plaza, we didn't have a problem with finding parking, quick in and out visit to LA Bean. We also visited other places nearby so it was perfect!

Lakemont Village is a neighborhood shopping center for the Lakemont neighborhood in Bellevue. This…read moreis arguably one of the most remote areas in Bellevue as it does not have any public bus service, so you need a car to reach it. The shopping center's main tenant is Town & Country Market and it has an array of businesses serving the community including a US Bank, Starbucks, a tutoring center and a beauty salon. It could use a nicer sit-down restaurant as there is only a teriyaki joint and a grocery store restaurant inside Town & Country. Parking most of the time is easy here, though it tends to fill up at busy times of the year like Christmas and Thanksgiving. Overall, I think it meets the needs of the area but there are better shopping venues within Bellevue in terms of offerings.
