Nice mall, but was recently acquired by Blackstone, the largest private equity firm in the US, and they've been making things worse. Recently, they phased out metal utensils and plates to save costs. A google search suggests that Blackstone is raising rents on the small businesses in the mall as well. Sad times. read more

I'll admit I have mall nostalgia, so whenever I step into one, I get a certain feeling. Most Malls these days are only a small percent of what they once were. Crossroads is sort of a hybrid strip and indoor mall which collectively keep itself going. Crossroads indoor portion is held up by a strong food court, it's "Public Market" with a lot of options - burgers, Mexican, Thai, sushi, Indian, Boba, Korean, Hawaiian and more. On top of that, there are plenty of seats. I'd even go so far to say that the Food Court is the main attraction here and the other stores are secondary, which include Old Navy, Hallmark and other services - Mini Library, information about Bellevue and such. The Mall itself looks kept up and seems to be doing well enough to keep going, so I say that's good. People clearly endorse it. I was here on a weekday afternoon for work. I sat down to take a rest and two separate families walked up with their children and put them in those 'coin-operated riding machines'. Moments before this happened, I asked myself "does anyone use these things anymore?". My question was answered. Crossroads is alive. read more

Love this mall! Although calling it a mall does not quite capture it. I have been coming here for 30+ years and it's my home away from home. Books, live performances, international food court, what is there not to love? The only thing is that the mall just got bought out by Blackstone and they are making decisions that are impacting the mall negatively. Like taking away dishes and cutlery for dining in. Sounds like they have been raising rents too, as many of the shop owners are leaving. Not happy about this. read more

I cannot BELIEVE how much this little shopping center mall has changed over the years! I grew up going to this little mall and WOW it's super nice now! LOTS of awesome shops and lots of awesome food places! I like that it's a little mall but also has tonssss within and around! I stopped at the farmers market they were holding right out in the back parking lot last week, I LOVED that they held one! It was small but so awesome with lots of produce, trickets and flowerrrrrssss!!! Great little spot to stop for some shopping, a walk and a bite to eat! For sure will be back. We don't live too far from here so we sometimes stop in. Big draw now is they now have a Dick's burgers sharing the parking lot! Hubby loves going into Half Price Books and while the shops are basic, it's not a bad place to get what you need. There's a QFC, World Market but the biggest reason why we stop here is the food court. When people in the car can't decide what to grab for lunch and we're in the area, we stop here because the food court is pretty varied. Everyone usually finds something they want to eat. read more

4 stars because of the nostalgia feels. My grandma used to live in the area so I spent a good amount of time at Crossroads Mall while growing up. They definitely haven't done much updating over the years!! Half-Price books is still there, the food court looks the same as I can remember it, and the floor/décor is getting run down and super dated. This mall is definitely dying and has a lot of blank spaces that probably won't get new tenants any time soon. The most interesting place right now is probably the rockwall climbing place (which is outside of the mall, but still part of the complex). When things open up I might have to try that when I have short nails! As it stands right now it seems like the biggest attractions of this area is QFC (which was okay in comparison to other QFCs) and the Cost Plus World Market. There's also some kind of cupcake store that looks really good, but they weren't open when I went by. Overall, Crossroads isn't exactly somewhere you go out of your way to travel to, but they do have a few things here and there that are unique. read more

Crossroads shopping center is an excellent neighborhood mini mall. It's anchored by several midsize store chains, Michael's craft store, Old Navy, Jo-Ann Fabrics, QFC, Half Price Books, Cost Plus World Market, and even a library. Where it truly wins is the community building. There's a stage for regular live music. The food court has multiple ethnic foods. There's a game store where a giant chess set, and people meet up regularly to play games. There are activity-based shops for kids. Many restaurants dot the outside rim and within walking distance away. While it's not as big as a full size mall, you will find something to shop and yummy food to eat. Pro tip: If you are new to the mall, be sure to look at the directory and walk the outside rim. Some stores are not accessible from the inside. read more

Even prior to the pandemic, I rarely made a trip here unless coming for a particular business or for an event at Crossroads Park. But I was taken aback by how desolate this place has become since my last visit. A lot of retail spots are empty now. The larger chain shops still remain open, such as Daiso, Jo-Ann, and Half Price Books. I was waiting for the restaurants to open and actually was bored after browsing select stores in little time. The main reason to visit would be dining. The mall has good range of cuisines. Plus Chungchun Hot Dogs and Mochinut will be opening in the future by the bookstore! I just LOOOVE this strip mall. Actually, it's more than just a shopping center. It's also a community center, where local people come to play games, check out books from the library, etc. Sadly, this mall is completely overshadowed by nearby Bellevue Square and Redmond Town Center. Here are some of the reasons why I love this shopping center, probably more than the other two aforementioned malls, which are much fancier and more popular. So, call me crazy. Their food court, called the Public Market, houses many restaurants with various cuisines (e.g., something as common as Japanese and Mexican as well as something less common, such as Russian and Indian). I like Crossroads. It is definitely a slice out of suburbia life but it's safe, has lots of parking, and there's a decent number of stores here for your shopping pleasure, including a QFC grocery store! This area is also serviced by the rapid bus too which is great. The food court here is kind of mediocre if I remember correctly but there is a French Bakery and piroshkies here! The Joann store is quite large as is the DAISO. There's also an Uncles Games which is really fun to browse for board games. read more

This mall really needs some love. It barely has any good stores and the good stores seem to be closing. When I first started visiting this mall since it was so close to my home and job, there was Ulta and Starbucks and now both are gone. Don't usually write reviews about malls unless I am traveling. But since I am the duke here, it seems like my duty to. Crossroads is a shopping mall located in the same name neighborhood. It is close to Lake Hills which is where I reside and is just down the street from the Microsoft campus. I have lived in this area for about a decade and this mall has had some ups and lows. During the recession era, there were quite a few vacancies here. Nothing like the rate at Factoria Mall, but quite noticeable. The mall had to fill some big spaces including the space previously occupied by Circuit City which went out of business. As the recession eased, spaces at the mall have been filling up. The Circuit City building is now occupied by a couple gyms and the Crossroads police station. Many national chains including Chipotle, Daiso, Jamba Juice and Ulta have opened locations at the mall. Though it recently lost Sports Authority which has closed for business and so there is a big vacancy. What is great about Crossroads compared to other malls in the area is that it is so community minded. They hold many live music events and a few festivals here each year. Plus they have some interesting features like a big chessboard and gaming area. There is also a decent size farmers' market that operates every Tuesday in the parking lot here during the summer. While this isn't a destination shopping mall, I consider this to be the place that I frequent the most in the area. This is where I go to do my banking, grocery shopping and work out at the gym. And from time to time, I have meals at the restaurants here when I want to get something close to home. I can find just about everything that I need at Crossroads which is why I love it so much. read more

Not my ideal place for shopping, but I enjoy the community-oriented events that are put on here! I visit Crossroads Shopping Center for specific stores, like Half Price Books and Michael's. But I wouldn't choose Crossroads for shopping, especially for apparel, since it doesn't carry any of the stores I'd shop at otherwise. The selection is limited here, which is my main reason for the A-OK rating. However, I must say that the cultural events the center puts on is something to boast about. In the center of the mall is a performance stage with seats out for the public. In the times I've visited there have been live performers, playing music, turning out quite a family-friendly crowd. I also like that the food court here has many different and diverse offerings, with whatever you're in the mood for! Plus, the mall is dog-friendly! Parking is plenty, with easy access to public transit and it's walking distance to other businesses like the movie theatre and Crossroads Park. There's something to be said about a strip mall where the International Food Court and surrounding restaurants are primarily the drawing attractions. So many food choices! There's plenty of diverse places to eat. You could sample the food court everyday for a week and not partake in the same cuisine twice. This particular Friday evening visit to Crossroads, we ate dinner at Tutta Bella and wandered into both Half Price Books and JoAnn Fabrics. It was nice to run a few errands in one convenient place. Around 7pm, we noticed an area sectioned off with seating in front of the Market Place Stage. A group of jazz singers were getting ready to perform. We opted to sit and enjoy some of the music. A very nice addition to everything that the Mall already has to offer. For a period of time, my Genealogy Club met monthly at the Community Room inside the Mall. It was great - everyone in the group could get lunch at the food court that satisfied their individual palate before the meeting began. Super convenient. Recently, our Club moved the meeting to a different location. Bummer. After my meeting, I would often stop into Ulta and QFC before leaving for home. If you do decide to stick around and wander about, Crossroads offers lots of tables and benches to sit at and people watch: a community living room for all of your neighbors to visit. In addition to shopping, there are coin rides for the kids spaced out inside the Mall and a huge floor Chess game (near QFC) to challenge your intellect. "You can't be here!" said Blaine Noragon and Richard Stacey, so-called security officers. "This mall cannot accommodate strollers." Kicked out of the mall for having a baby stroller. They told my daughter to go put the stroller in the car and come back when she was carrying the two babies in her arms. She then complained to the security manager/mall manager who said, "This mall to too small to accommodate strollers." That is discrimination against mothers! Crossroads is more diverse than an airport. I love this place. If you come during the evening, it's always popping. If this mall was ANYWHERE else besides Bellevue, it would've been closed ages ago. It has this sort of 80's vibe in a way and interesting decor. If you're an artist, you'll feel the energy around you and feel inclined to be creative. The food court has tons of different food like a French bakery, Russian food, Korean food, Thai food, Hawaiian food, etc. I personally like going to Tutta Bella, though. I love the shops and restaurants that have been there for years, and owners who persisted there despite Covid. BUT what gives on the 4th of July?? When I was much younger, along with my brother, Crossroads was the perfect destination for my parents to take us. Bookstore as we were all avid readers? Check. Random stores to wander through? Yup? About 15 different food options for each of their disagreeable children to pick their own? Yup! And now, every time I come home, somehow we end up at Crossroads. Usually because a trip to Half Price Books is much needed (and HPB, please come to Oregon and show Powell's how to price used books!). The HPB is always smooshed to the gills with books, and I rarely walk out without 2-3 books. This holiday trip alone yielded 2 trips and....7 books. Oy. The food court is huge with a huge spread of options. There's many food places that have stuck around since I was in middle school, which speaks to their quality - and some various newcomers that seem to rotate in and out. There's pasta (Ziti Pasta, delicious penne al pompardo), O'Char Thai (try the red curry), Papaya (Vietnamese, try the pho!), Tanpopo (Japanese, go for yakisoba), Papazzi Pizza (great deals, good pizza), Crossroads Cafe (breakfast all day!). And those are just the ones I've tried. There's sushi, a fish place, India, soup place, Hawaiian grill & Greek. Can you see why my parents literally gave us money and had us choose our damn selves? Also nice about the food court, it's huge & well kept up cleanliness wise. You're supposed to bus your own table but there' s a ton of workers who swoop in and clean up after the...less inclined to follow polite etiquette peeps. There's also chess games & such near the grocery store entrance. The smaller stores have always changed throughout the year but the big stores - Jo-Ann Fabrics, Bed Bath & Beyond, Old Navy & Pier 1 are stalwarts. As of this review, there's a record store, Dress Barn, Famous Footwear, Hallmark, a child's play space thing (which makes me UBER jealous not to be a kid right now) and a hair salon. A King Country library outlet thing & a comic store. Also a spa place & new Brow type bar. And QFC rounds out the end. PHEW. The layout is extremely open and parking is rarely a problem. There's also a lot of close by stores and a movie theater within walking distance. This is literally the only mall that 54 minutes in I don't feel like tackling somebody or ripping my hair out. We use to hang out here when I was small (a thousand and a half years ago, it seems) and my family still visits here when we are in town. From a local library branch to a nail salon (or maybe two?) to a huge grocery store, a movie theatre, TWO craft stores (plus a Daiso!) and so much more, there's a little something for everyone. You can check off about 50% of your to-do list on any given day here, with a veterinarian and a place to renew your car tabs to a party store and somewhere to lunch (or just pick up coffee or pastries for the rest of your day). Also a great place for a date, there's dinner and a movie and a place to paint your own pottery! Plus free parking? Such a good plan. read more

I personally love this place. People, who complain this mall is ghetto or this place isn't Bellevue Square (or should I refer to it as "Bellevue Collection" now?) Or Bravern, are missing the point or are at this mall for the wrong reasons. IMO, this mall is very good at attracting its targeted audience and it keeps them coming back. I am not really their targeted audience but I have so many memories here from the early 90s and I think I "get it." I used to hang out here with friends near the food court, had my first movie date with my first girlfriend at the theater (Contact with Jolie Foster in it), and now I come here to entertain my kids at Wiggleworks and Crossroads Toy store. This mall has gotten some upgrade over the years but it is pretty the same as it used to be. Yet it somehow enabled certain businesses that typically would no longer survive in other places to survive at this mall!! For example, they still have a comic book store and a game/magic card/90s toys store here and these stores seem to do very well. All the kids hanging out at these stores even look like my friends from the early 90s (they dress and act like them I swear!!!). They play chess and magic cards even to this date. I wonder where these kids come from..... time machine from the past perhaps. This mall also has a King County Library (although small) and my kids love it here. IMHO, this mall serves its intended purpose and I keep coming and spending my money here mostly for nostalgic reasons. You know what will be super cool at this mall? A 90's coin-op video arcade. Crossroads mall is my refuge in a city that lacks the diversity I expect from any real city. I don't go there to shop. In fact, I'll bet that less than half the people are there to shop. Some are there for the great international food court. Some are there for the coffee shop attached to the Half Price Books. Some are there for the live local music on stage in the middle of the mall. EVERYONE is there for the community. I go there to hang out with my laptop and get some work done with the cacophony of people of all ages and creeds in the background. I also go there because the Indian joint at the food court does very authentic South Indian brunch-type food: Idly Sambar with coconut chutney. Great big dosas also with coconut chutney. Two of my favorite things which I went without for years in Seattle until this place opened up. There's a giant friggin chess board in the middle of the mall where you see 80-year olds and 6-year olds taking turns challenging the winner. Once when I went there the regional Lego robot building contest was taking place up and down the middle of the mall with children of all ages participating. No other mall I've ever been to would do such a thing. The mall includes a King County public library, and there is free wifi and plenty, plenty of seating and tables throughout the mall. What exactly is this place? It gave me anxiety. I've come here twice now and left with nothing but a massive headache, and wondering what just happened. We usually come here to go to HPB (never again) and since we had time to kill on this visit, decided to wander around this place. It was loud. Like. LOUD. They had a group of people "singing" live. It was more of yelling singing. And it echoed. Everywhere. You couldn't escape it. This place is mostly food, and mostly things you haven't heard of. The only places I'd heard of were Torreros and Starbucks. Lots of smells..... There are a few stores, like Bed Bath & Beyond, Joann Fabric, a really weird random tiny Library and Old Navy. Lots of random vendors set up around, felt more like I was at an exotic market than a mall. There's also this really creepy looking place for kids called like Wiggleworld or Wiggleworks or something and it looks absolutely terrifying. Walk by, you'll see what I'm talking about. This place isn't for me, so I'm gonna go ahead and not come back. But there's stuff for other people, so I guess check it out? read more

This is an indoor mall! Good location off NE 8th St. has a good size food court called Public Market including Indian, Chinese, Korean, Italian, and Mediterranean Cuisine! The first time I came to this mall I did wonder what exactly was going on, had I entered some kind of time warp. Firstly it seemed there was only a few stores inside with an enormous food court and I was underwhelmed. However, the second and subsequent times I have visited I have really appreciated the place. Yes the food court is enormous and has many different cuisines but that in my eyes is a bonus. The things which draw me to this place time and time again are: - the fact that there is an Old Navy, Joann's, Michael's, Sally, half price books, Bed bath and beyond and party city not to forget Daiso Japan, qfc and Barnes and Noble in close proximity of each other. - the fact that there are stores inside and outside of the mall. - a movie theater and climbing center. - the 25c rides for kids, the toy shop, children's haircuts and of course wiggle works which my daughter was not keen on. - a library in the mall. What is not to love about this place? Yes it is old and could do with some upgrades however, part of the charm and appeal of the place is that it is slightly old fashioned. There does seem to be a few empty stores hence my 4 star review. However in my eyes it is closer to a 4.5. read more

A wonderful social place, so much more than the modern Malls this is a real place to relax, enjoy, be in and be part of a local community. The Mall has a large international food hall that provides cheap and wholesome foods produced by local family businesses. These are not large chains. Russian, Japanese, Korean, Thai. The people who work in the food outlets are often family members. When I go there they often remember what I ordered last time, they smile and chat. They work hard, they look happy. There are tables set aside for playing games, they are often busy with groups of friends and families. There is a large floor-chess set surrounded by benches. It is always in use, people sit and watch the games with quiet and knowing patience. Silver Platters, a CD store is near the Large chess set. In this time when buying music online is becoming the norm, the pleasure of being able to wander through a CD store, and browse their offerings is a rare pleasure. The store places little paper wrappers with reviews by the staff on exceptional albums. The reviews are worth reading. The staff know their music. Normally when I buy CD's there I will have a conversation with the sales staff. They are not just ringing the cash into the till, they care about the music, they have time to talk to you. What a fabulous atmosphere. A rare thing that I want to preserve, I do my bit by buying all my music at Silver Platters. There is a second-hand book store, this alone can provide me with hours of pleasurable entertainment. The mall provides free wireless internet access, you will see people with their laptops out. They have a Stage, they use the stage, Thursday night is open-mike night. There are often local community events here that use the stage. There are a few large chain stores: Pier 1; QFC; The Dress Barn; Bed Bath and Beyond; Barnes Nobel books; Circuit City. These stores are not the heart of the Mall but they do help the Mall provide diverse shopping opportunities. You do not need to be, or look, wealthy to fit in at this mall. read more

I moved to Seattle about 2 years ago and just barely stumbled upon this place. The best part is you can really do a lot at this place: Eat: venerable world food court. Japanese,Korean,Vietnamese, Russian, Mexican, Italian (pizza), Thai, Hawaiian and Greek...oh an Indian Food (uthapham & dosas how I have missed you). Shop: not much selections for clothing but it's there. Two awesome game and comic book stores. Grocery: QFC. Best part for me: the bookstore. nice selection of books. I can spend hours here. This review is for the the Santa Portraits at Crossroads, it is hands down the best santa portraits in town (and I've been to all the rest! There isn't a crazy line like most places, the photographer takes a ton of time and really works to get the kids to smile, the prices are a little high, like any santa place (24 for one 5x7, and $40 for a cd) but we were probably taking photos for about 20 minutes which is way better than the usual 3 minutes other santas get (Redmond town center is the Worst for little kids and the most expensive, and you stand outside) These are my favorite santa pictures of all time!
