Gotta checkout Ross whenever you are near, as long as you have time. This location was in Bellevue, located as an anchor of a very small strip mall (named Ross Plaza). It is very large inside, and very rectangular so easy to see where everything is. The selection when we came wasn't great, thinking they haven't restocked since the holiday rush. What's interesting is that they closed the built-in dressing rooms near the back, and instead created makeshift fitting room 'cubicles' in the front. Less need for staff, I guess. read more

Let me start by saying I love Ross! This store is very dirty and disorganized. The employees are very rude. I was waiting for someone to let me into the bathroom for over 10 min and overheard an employee say "they've been waiting but I'm done opening the bathroom, I'm sick of it". 4 years ago, I was returning an item and found that there seemed to be only one line for both purchases and returns, so I lined up there. After waiting for about 10 minutes, a guy went directly to the return counter to return his stuff. I then thought there must be a separate line for returns, so I moved and waited at the return counter. When the guy before me was done, the lady behind the counter looked at me quickly and then started yelling for the next person in the main line. Confused, I asked her why she was doing that, but she ignored me and continued to call for someone from the main line. I told her that I had been third in the main line and had just stepped over, and people in the main line nodded in agreement. She finally, albeit reluctantly, processed my return. I was so frustrated that I called her manager to complain. I'm not sure if the manager fully understood the situation or believed me. Shopping at Ross is a terrible experience; I deeply regret having bought something there. read more

I absolutely LOVE Ross!! It's the perfect place for a tight budget to shop for ANYTHING!!! I've found so many cute tops, the selection of clothes and even other items is so diverse. I go to Ross too frequently! Employees on the floor aren't super engaged; the cashiers are super friendly. The only downside, is sometimes the fitting rooms are closed, but that's a toss up. read more

We had dinner in the same business strip that Ross Dress for Less is located in, so decided to check it out for some Christmas shopping. I was able to find a few items for gifts here, but it's a treasure hunt. The store is much larger than I initially thought. I was surprised by how spacious it was, with all the departments spread out throughout the store. Perhaps because it was a few days before Christmas, the store was very untidy and disorganized. And because of the holidays, the store was open until 11PM, so there were quite a few people shopping after 9PM on a Saturday. I mostly came here to get toys for my friends' kids. The toy selection was pretty decent, but with everything in this store, you have to really dig deep to find items. Some of the items will not have a duplicate item. Some of the items will be misplaced. Some of the items will have missing price tags. But if you have some time to shop around, you may be able to find what you're looking for. Overall, Ross Dress for Less is an A-OK store. Depending on what you come here for, they may have large stock of it or none at all. Like a lot of these discounted stores, you have to really pick through the items, in order to find treasure. read more

I am not sure why there are such low reviews. This Ross is usually stocked with all of the clothes properly hung up. The lines can get long but there are only so many checkers...just wait. The restroom has a keypad so you do need to ask the front desk about getting in. If you are returning an item just wait in the longer line (you will get the hardest side eye if the return line is empty and the buy line is long-not worth it). I do shop here and I do like it. It is a good store and it does make it more challenging for people to copy you which is a bonus. read more

Let me preface this review by saying I love Ross. Or I used to. But whoever is managing this Ross has a lot to learn. This place is DISGUSTING. Like literally, dirty AF. There's literal dirt everywhere, scum, Lord knows what else, all over the floors, the racks, the dressing room - and I don't have the stomach to describe the bathroom but I took one look and decided to hold my pee. It looks like you could catch alllll the STDs in there. I agree with all the other reviewers on their pretty awful customer service - but that aside, just walking into that store makes you feel dirty. Ross used to be packed with people every time I go. Now, stores like TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack are continually packed, while Ross (at least this one) looks like the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse - except that I'd rather be surrounded by zombies than enter that store again. Ross is located in a strip mall near Video Only and Cafe Ori in Bellevue. This location is not particularly bad. There is a decent amount of parking. The store itself is not much in the way of organization, particularly the home aisles. Clothing and shoe selection is rather lacking here, at least for men's stuff. There are some decent prices for rugs and bedding however. As for service, this was nonexistent. On the last two occasions, there was a single cashier. One of those being on a weekend. Overall, the feel of the store is like searching in a bargain bin for what you want. Advice while shopping here: Practice patience. read more

It feels like a personal insult from Ross, to find myself in line once again, at age 66, with painful arthritis, waiting for 18 minutes today, because the greedy owners of Ross can only pay for 3 cashiers. Seems to me that if you are making enough sales to have a line of 30 people standing for 10-25 minutes, you're making enough money to process customers in a way that isn't degrading. If I have to factor this in to the $10 or $15 I save, I really have to ask myself if this is a good value. Sometimes Im so poor I have no choice, and that is what Ross is counting on, that it can treat people in a way that no other store I go to does, because some people can't buy a pair of pants if it isn't marked down 50%. Speaking of which, half way through covid, this store started looking like it was closing down, because the selection was so bad. I get it. Most people don't like working in customer service jobs - I work one myself. But as a customer, I would prefer cashiers and workers who aren't blatantly annoyed and showing their obvious irritation that I am there and needing to check out. The women who work there are always huddled around speaking Farsi happily, ignoring the customers around them who are waiting to ask a question/checkout/etc. Once they finally DO help you, you can see their joyful faces instantly drop to an inconvenienced scowl. The security is always nice and I found some ok stuff here. But the employees are THAT bad to make me go to Marshalls instead, which is just minutes away. read more

Oh, Ross. Some Ross stores are great, and some are not so great. This one is firmly in the not so great category. Service- Awful. I expect to wait in line at Ross, but they had 2 cashiers on a Saturday. 2. WTF? Additionally, there was one associate who loudly claimed, "I just can't handle checking people out anymore today; they're driving me nuts." Then, the person proceeded to distract other sales associates with her complaining. I get that retail is a tough gig, but sometimes, you don't always get to pick what you want to do, especially when a line is as deep as this one. The manager began checking people out, but he did nothing to call additional help (and there were other associates that were VERY available). The manager who was checking out was pretty slow, but the woman who was checking with him was great. She was fast and apologized for the wait- something the manager guy didn't do at all. I am giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 solely because of her, the light in a dark, godless place. Selection- The place was really picked over. I know most Ross stores have a variety of great and not so great selection days, but the place was a mess. Again, then thing that I keep going back to is that there were available associates to do stuff, but they were busy chatting or on their cell phones. As a Ross shopper for 20 years, I clearly know Ross is for specific things. Luggage, candles, pillows, household items like chairs, benches, towels. I've been known to drive to 6 different Ross stores from Issaquah to Kent to Mill Creek to find matching items. This Ross store has been consistent. Empty. Nothing on the shelves, 1 cashier, and lacking items with gaping holes in the shelves. Hard times? I haven't a clue. Bonus: it was clean and uncluttered. I don't shop here, but I did come in this past Christmas to buy some toys to donate to a Toys for Tots drive that I've been participating in the last few years. I figured they'd have some good deals so I could get as many toys as possible. In that regard, it met my expectations. This place gives me the biggest headache, the moment I walk through the door. The entire place is just a mess. Nothing seems to be where it should be, everything is missing, pushed back, upside down, sideways, miscategorized...basically everywhere but where it should be. Items are missing tags, boxes are torn open, and there's dust everywhere. The shelves look super empty and there is a huge random, open space in the back. You would really think that this location was about to go out of business with their lack of stock. Bargains are good. Ross has lots of bargain prices. Including a beautiful set of stainless silverware (18/10...the "good" stainless stuff) for half the price that it sells for on Overstock.com. As you can imagine, I shop bargain places a lot. Unfortunately, when I got this pristine, never-been-opened-and-retaped-shut box home, I find that it is missing ALL the dinner forks except the one glistening in the box's display. WTH? So sad... Return was pretty easy and they give you cash back if you'd paid originally with a debit card. Plus they have a stoplight at the parking lot entrance so that you can make a left turn out of the lot. Open until 11pm and a decent selection of random odds and ends. We dropped in after the event across the street to poke around. At 10pm there was plenty of parking and plenty of people working in the store so it felt safe. In fact, it's probably easier to shop here in the narrow aisles in the later hours! I had a product from the mens/car section that I purchased 3 weeks prior from the location in Southcenter but had misplaced the receipt. I had the checkout person scan it and she let me know it was now worth $6 less than the tag price (what I paid). She let me know if I could find the receipt they would give me what I paid but without it I would get the lesser value. That seems pretty shifty since it was less than a month ago! If it were an item I actually wanted to keep I would have returned it and repurchased it at the new lower price - who knew the products here drop in value so quickly? It's like the value of a car as soon as you drive it off the lot! Fortunately I found the receipt and returned it another day at another location and got what I paid back. read more

My practice is to stop here, along with Marshall's, Goodwill, Heart and Home, Grocery Outlet near Crossroads once in awhile and see what's there. They usually don't have something 'I need, or demand' but then, I don't need or demand things, I encourage them into my life as an experiment, then keep or donate them. Ross had the hangers I needed, only one that did. They had a fantastic big non-stick wok-like pan by Circulon that is induction-compatible. It is a $60 item for $30. It is the best stir fry pan I've ever used, and I have some from Sur La Table in the hundreds each. They only had one. It is gone. I saw one more at the Ross in Lake Forest Park same price, but didn't buy it...foolish, could have gifted it this XMAS. It's a plain store without charm except the interesting maze they make you walk through to get to a register. It really is complex and almost fun to figure it out. She slapped her hand on the counter insted of telling us her register is on the other side. Spent the whole 4 mins checking us out talking to another worker. On a mission to find a frame, I went into Ross. Bingo! I was able to find exactly what I wanted with a few trips around the store as they were not in the area they use to be. I really never hope to have to use a two star rating, but the store just was not in good order, with things kind of just thrown on the shelve and it was kind of like walking into a bedroom where things were not in the right place. There's hardly much in the way of Men's clothes and what they have is poorly displayed. The checkers are ore what you expect at St Vincent de Paul or Goodwill rather than a retail store. The store is messy and run-down. I understand it's a budget store, but in the realm of discount retail clothing stores this place is at least two levels down from a Mashsall's. Ross is not my favorite clothing store, but in the past it's usually been worth a trip. Foir this location I'd say don't waste your time. read more

Incredible variety of clothing, shoes and handbags for women! I am not sure why anyone would shop anywhere else with the awesome deals they have here. You can easily buy several really incredible pieces of clothing and come in well under $100. I honestly do not even think The Goodwill or Value Village could go any lower.
