We had a poor experience with Catholic Cemeteries of Omaha and wanted to warn others. We made…read morepayments for an upright marker for ourselves. In the contract we signed it said when payment was completed the marker would be placed. After the final payment we waited, and waited, and waited. Calls and emails were not returned or returned days later. Finally nine months after final payment our marker was placed. When we asked for possible compensation for the long delay we received an email from Deacon Steven Hill saying "From Catholic Cemeteries' perspective, our performance was as expected - there were no delays in the ordering nor in the installation of your monument". Catholic cemeteries threw the monument manufacturer under the bus to save face. Word to the wise: be careful in your dealings with Catholic Cemeteries.

No joke, the hearse got lost on the way to the cemetery and yes people were following it when it turned into a neighborhood and ended up at a school! In addition they posted the wrong date for the funeral in the obituary and on their website. Yes they apologized for the errors but that doesn't make it better. Also they pad the bill, for example they say flowers are $250 yet somehow on the bill they are suddenly $350. The facility is nice and the staff are friendly.
