I go to Tally Brow to get get my eyebrows and lip threaded. The environment is clean and welcoming. They have a computer for you to sign in with what services you need. They also give you a loyalty card. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes and the service is really quick. I have thin eyebrows so there is not a-lot to thread but I still feel like they come out neater than waxing and it lasts longer. I like that they open pretty late so I am still able to catch them after a long day. They also provide other services like tinting. I definitely recommend them. read more

I am quite pleased with how my brows turned out. I started threading way back in 2007 at a business that is no longer here in Tallahassee called Ruby Beauty. After that I moved to Jacksonville and went to Sushila's for nine years until I moved back here. Threading is great for long lasting, shaped brows. However, when a technician is not so adept at threading and makes you feel as though they are tearing your hairs out one by one...you tend to avoid doing it again. The eyebrow place in the Tallahassee mall makes one experience this, so I was eager to try another place. Brow Art Studio does a much better job than this, though the threading isn't as quick as some I have experienced. I will be back, and hopefully I will find the threading artist who will do a great job and do so quickly. read more

I will never go back to simple eyebrow waxing... I knew threading from traveling to Turkey but didn't think to find a location in Tallahassee that is offering that service. But here I found it.... the inside doesn't look like much but it doesn't have to. The service is beyond excellent. The staff is very friendly and during the process they continuously ask if you are ok. They are very thorough with what they are doing and I am very happy with the result. They even offer facials for $45 average. That's gonna be my next try-out. While for threading and waxing you can just walk in, for the facial you need to make an appointment. I'm 27 and I've never had my eyebrows done, except for when I tried to do them myself as a child, and the next day was picture day. Smh. Anyways back to my first threading experience. When she started it felt like I could feel every hair being pulled from each hair follicle. I just wanted her to stop, but by then she was starting on the other brow. I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes. They have some comfortable lounge chairs to relax in while you wait. They are typically busier after 5:00pm, when more people are off work, so I'd go earlier if possible. -- Atmosphere -- The shop is located in the Belle's Outlet strip mall, behind Olive Garden, directly next to Salley's Beauty. This eyebrow threading salon is pretty on par with the others I've been to in my many years of getting my brows threaded. It's located in a little plaza and is sort of hidden off of Apalachee Parkway. The shop itself is really clean, but sort of no frills so don't come in here looking for some sort of deep relaxation. There were several people in front of me so I sort of waited a while to get my brows done. There was only one woman working there but I'm used to waiting at eyebrow salons so it wasn't that big of a deal. The woman who did my eyebrows was really thorough and did an awesome job. I stopped by for a spontaneous brow visit (never had done before) last week while visiting. These girls know what they're doing! I walked in, signed in, and sat down to get 'groomed' within 5 minutes. She was done in about 5 minutes, and I'm very pleased with the results. I have terrible eyebrows, bushy centrally and sparse laterally, so she had a tough job on her plate! She worked fast and accurately. Since it's quite painful, I wouldn't want it to take any longer. I have to disagree with the previous reviewer! I have been here several times and I am always very happy with the way that she does my eyebrows. I always ask her to keep them thick and arched and she does a good job of doing that. She is also quick and efficient, which is usually the sign of a good threader :) I think there is another girl who works in the shop on the weekends but she isn't as good. I've been to a bunch of different threading places and never had someone consistently do such a good job, and without having to ever wait more than 5-10 mins. $10 for brows and you get your 10th brow threading free. read more

Threading and prices are pretty good. My only complaint is that they don't keep track of whose turn it is very well. Although there is a sign in sheet, the techs never actually consult it and just go off who says it's their turn. However, people aren't always honest and I've had people cut numerous people in the past (without an appointment). This is frustrating and almost made me walk and leave because I feel like this is the tech's responsibility and she didn't seem to care.
