I found Kristin on the Instagram while searching Hair by Chrissy. She's a celebrity hair stylist specializing in Habit Hand Tied Extensions. If you haven't heard of Habit salon then you don't know hair extensions. Kristin was trained by Chrissy and is one of the only salons in San Diego doing the new Extensions. I'm finally writing a long overdue review of Kristin's work! She's been my hair stylist for over 2 years now and has never disappointed! She's both cut and colored my hair on multiple occasions and I always get the best compliments from others afterwards! The pictures attached are from the most recent visit w/ Kristin where she did balayage color and cut which was done about eight months postpartum after I'd lost a lot of hair and it was looking pretty dull. She totally livened it up and I can't tell you how many people have asked who did my hair afterwards! Getting my hair done by Kristin is such a great experience too. I'm an introvert so getting my hair or nails done in the past has been a little daunting because I'm not always comfortable chatting with a stranger for hours. But with Kristin, I felt instantly at ease and enjoy talking with her during my appointment. She's super friendly and still very focused and attentive! Another plus is that she's quick!! I have a lot of hair and in the past have taken three plus hours to do a color, cut and style, but she can do it in half the time. For a cut I'm in and out in an hour! The last thing I will say about Kristin is that she is the best at listening to what you want which is such an asset for a stylist. She makes sure that she delivers what you are looking for and will take the time to make certain of that so that you leave 110% satisfied. She's taken the time on more than one occasion to make sure I know how to maintain or style my hair the way she did it so I can continue to feel good about the look long after she's done! I moved here from Seattle 11 months ago and that was also my last time I got a touch up on my cut. My hair grew a lot since last November and it was driving me nuts as it thickened out making it hard to style often! Kristin is amazing end of story. Not that my hair needed to be saved in any kind of way I was just looking for an alternative to wigs and after contacting her she sold me. She was extremely quick to reply and gave so many details that it made me feel comfortable the entire time. It is a bit pricey compared to typical extensions,but you're paying for quality and a great experience. I've had my extensions since January and I absolutely love them. I LOVE LOVE MY HAIR. I highly recommend Kristin to do your hair. I was in major need of a color touch up and a hair cut.
