One of the best places in Eugene to get a haircut. I've tried quite a few and Bello has been my favorite. Initially, I walked in to make an appointment and I was greeted immediately. The stylists that I have gone to have been very professional and eager to make sure you are happy with your haircut. My wife goes there to color and cut her hair. She loves it! The prices are reasonable considering the high quality. I've recommended quite a few people and will continue. read more

Amazing facial. I was a little dubious about the idea of a facial, until I realized there was massage involved. The place was warm and clean and comfy all around. My facial-ist (?) person, Chelsea, was smiley and relaxed, which made me feel less awkward about essentially being naked under the covers in a bed next to a fully dressed stranger. The facial included hand treatments and these awesome heat mittens. There was massaging of shoulders arms and hands. There were lots of warm wraps and softening substances put on my face. She extracted some clogged pores and at the end patiently answered every skincare question I had. All the stars for this experience. Seriously amazing. read more

I'm all for quiet relaxing spas. I'm not for hostile anti kid places. After hearing my three year old talking in the back ground of my phone call the receptionist told me that my daughter was not welcome in the salon. Kids are strictly against policy. What? Wasn't planning on bringing her anyway, thanks. The front end gals are young, and can come off as very stuck-up. Pedicurist was unhappy. BUT I Have had great massages, best in town. Apparently if you have an emergency and you're admitted to the hospital within a 24 hour of your massage appointment, you are rudely informed that you cannot go back to the establishment unless they have your credit card information. That will allow them to charge you half of the service fee if you don't give them 24 notice of your cancellation. It's unfortunate that people don't understand what an emergency is. I am furious, and I will warn everyone of my experience. read more

I've had two massages at Bello Spa, a classic 60 minute massage and a deep tissue 90 minute massage. Both were with Sarah and both were FABULOUS! Before each massage we had a brief conversation about areas I'd like worked on. She took care to make sure I was comfortable throughout. She offered aroma therapy which added another wonderful layer of relaxation. She worked through my problem areas and even massages my face when I told her I have TMN (it felt amazing). Sarah is also a yogi and suggested several very useful stretches to help with my problem areas, and even recommended a book I'm excited to check out based on some of the topics I brought up. She really made me feel like she wanted to help me feel like my best self! I came to Bello because my husband got me a gift card for my birthday but I will definitely continue coming back! The spa is also really nice and clean inside and they have an option to book appointments via their website. So convenient! I highly recommend this spa! read more

The salon was beautiful and the staff was friendly as my bridal party came for mani's/pedi's before the wedding. It all turned out beautiful! On my pedi, I was told to be careful for 1-2 hours for them to dry. I waited 4 hours to put on heels for the bachelorette dinner (just to make sure) and afterwards most of my toes french tips were chipped or noticeable smudged. I didn't have anytime to go in and get it fixed but was very disappointed. Otherwise it would have been great work! read more

I really enjoy going to this salon and have been going to see Joseph for hair color/cut a handful of times. I always bring in pictures and it always exceeds my expectations. He always leaves me satisfied and feeling good about my new look. The only complaint I have is about the front desk staff. The last time I went in which I had an appointment that was set up months prior they very rudely made it seem as though I didnt have an appointment making me feel very uncomfortable. Then without apologizing or telling me why it appeared that way, told me Joseph would be out soon. I don't appreciate feeling that way especially when I am paying good money. A little lesson on being polite wouldn't hurt them one bit. read more

If you want great color (especially if you need a color correction or something very drastic) go see Leslie. She's amazing. I've struggled with getting my hair the right color for years, even going to 4 other high priced salons in Eugene. Leslie gave me the perfect color on the first try. I've tried this spa a few times when in Eugene. They go though a lot of employees especially in the spa area. The last time in, I overheard conversation that there is little to no respect by the owners and if they decide they don't like you, they team up and enjoy throwing you out without any prior notice. Worst haircut ever, choppy layering and straight across 4 year old bang cut after showing stylist a photo of the longer layered bangs I hoped to achieve. No superior customer service when I expressed my huge disappointment to the desk girl. Will not be returning. The hair message, music or beverage served does not make up for a horrible haircut at a $50 price tag. read more

No children allowed. I made an appointment one week in advance for a pedicure on my birthday. I picked Bello based on Yelp and other reviews. I had scoured their website and was looking forward to a relaxing hour having my feet pampered. I drive 25 minutes to get there and show up 10 minutes early. And I am greeted at the door by a woman who informs me children are not allowed in the salon. My very shy 10 year old son was with me. He had brought a book and his DS machine. At other places, he sits in the lobby quietly and waits, never bothering the staff or anyone else. At no time was I informed of this policy. It was not mentioned when I made the appointment, it is not on their website, it is not on their front door. They said they could make an exception this time and have him sit with me in the spa room but I refused to give them my $75 after they made my son feel unwelcome. It has been about 2 years since my last haircut, mainly because I've never been able to find anyone who could cut my hair just as I asked, without pushing it too far into "hipster" territory. I read the reviews on Bello online and they were almost 100% positive. Many people mentioned the price, but I thought the price was right in the market of any other salon in the area, if not a little cheaper. My cut was $45, less than I was expecting, as most other places I saw listed $50-$65 for a woman's cut. I went to Sophia, and she was just excellent. Very friendly, not overly talkative, and she really seemed to listen to what I wanted. She really took her time with the shampoo, and gave a relaxing scalp massage as well, which was nice since a lot of other places will rush through that part. She was very skilled and seemed to know exactly what she was doing, no hesitation, and no mistakes. I feel that I've finally found a place and stylist I will go back to again and again. read more
