Hands down, the best place in town to get a pedicure. The pedicure room is in the back of the building away from the hustle and bustle of the front desk area and the décor is calm and relaxing. I have only received pedicures from Laura (as I always as for her) and her massages are fabulous! I love that they have a different type of pedicure every season with lotions and scrubs that smell truly amazing. Go to Bello! Bello is upscale and spendy, but you get what you pay for. The spa is very modern and stylish, and the front-of-house staff are all professional and warm without a frisson of fake-nice. This became my go-to salon a few years ago for haircuts after it became home to two wonderful stylists, Sophie and Holly, both of whom I'd experienced elswehere. Spa pedicures are tremendously relaxing with adjustable massage chairs, heated bubbling tubs for soaking, and complimentary (albeit flimsy) flip-flops for extended drying on the go. Perhaps best of all is the absence of trashy gossiping and That Horrible Nail Salon Smell you may encounter in more inexpensive places. I redeemed a gift certificate for a facial last year - it was nothing special. For less money, Janis Thompson at Blossom does a fabulous job, and her place is private and peaceful. The great hair and nail services will keep me busing all the way out to Zombieland for sure, though. read more

I absolutely loved my pedicure and the ladies that did them. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating except the front counter ladies. They looked like they hated their job and were miserable, they didn't smile or come off friendly in anyway. First walking in the desk soured my opinion and made me panic on the treatment I would get for the price but I went back and had my pedi and my opinion flipped 180... Then I had to walk back up and pay which I had to deal with the front desk again and they completely soured my opinion again.. After our group spent $200 and the desk treating as if they were to good for the customers...Enough so that I may not come back even loving the pedi. read more

We went for a group spa day. The stylist were amazing! Kudos to Stephanie and Joseph and i forgot the other women's name. Amazing cuts and color. The manicurist were very attentive. However, the young women at the front desk were rude. For example, they were not willing to void a sale when we discovered a friend who we were treating to a birthday spa day, was asked to pay before we could get to the counter. Our friend said she felt pressured to do so right then. We spent over $600 in the spa that afternoon and the two young women at the front counter acted as if they were too good to service us. If I was the owner I would get rid of them ASAP or teach them some manners. read more

First Visit: Brazilian waxing with Susanne simply she was awesome, very professional, fast and very nice person. Second Visit: I called to reschedule with Susanne and I did, but when I arrived to my appointment, I was surprised because they replaced Susanne with a new person that I did not request. Not even informing me and explaining why or if it would be fine with me. However, I had enough confident with it because my first visit was good. The Second Visit: I had full arms, full legs including and Brazilian waxing with Brittney it was " AWFUL and extremely Bad and more importantly NOT at all professional!! Here is why: First Reason: Removed the hair in the wrong directions which result in fast growing back within three days. ( Take my words I'm an expert with waxing because I never shaved my whole life I only waxed since I can't even remember, so I know if this is a bad waxing or not). Second Reason: Because it was waxed in the wrong way, it also made it worse in terms of pain while its growing. Third Reason: She lefts a lot of parts in my upper hips, which I did not notice until I went back home. Note I'm not talking about few hair left, rather lots of hair. Forth Reason: ( Its written that the full arm waxing services is: "Including shoulders" but I asked her during the service to leave the shoulders of, and she did but she did not do any price adjustments, rather she included the price of the shoulders which I never get it done! During the checking out I forgot to inform them about this changes, which she should have done it in the first place. Not just that, it is not the shoulders only, rather it is half of my upper arms! I called back the next day to inform them about the shoulder thing and asked for price adjustment. Interestingly enough they refused to do so! and added that any thing that is upper the elbows are considered shoulders!! I'm not kidding this is what they said. $175 paid. To conclude: The place is pricey and you have to be very sure about who are you going to see. Moreover, to confirm to the previous feedback the receptionists are rude and not flexible . You most likely will not feel welcome by them specially if you are new. The whole environment made me feel that they hold zero trust in their customers. Yes it's very well decorated place, but I'd rather to leave with big smile after spending xxx rather than enjoying a view in a salon. read more

Services I had done at Bello: * Nails: I've had my nails done there twice, first experience was great, and the price isn't too high. Second experience was terrible, I asked for a french manicure and it looked like a 3 year old did my nails. * Wax: great waxing service. * Hair Color: THE WORST! My stylist was friendly, but didn't seem to pay attention to my concerns. She did the exact opposite of what I wanted. My hair is FRIED and the work looks sloppy. They did not offer a refund or even a partial refund, and they said that if I wanted to fix THEIR mistake, I'd have to pay an extra 100 over the 110 I had already paid. read more

I have had a massage, pedicure and most recently a facial. Used a Living Social coupon deal recently because I had been wanting to try their facial. When I called they asked if I was using the Living Social coupon and then offered me an upgrade on my service. I took it for an additional fee and the service was horrible. The tech talked the entire time, no gentle massage or facial application of the product, just her rubbing stuff on my face. And the best part, while products dried, she just sat behind me talking with her hands in her lap. Massages there are ok, nothing special and the pedicures I would rate the same. The best part.....when I was escorted back to the spa waiting area, there was a mother and her two very young kids waiting for mother and daughter toe painting and they were loud, very loud. And I have kids so that is not meant to be an insult, but a spa is for relaxation...isn't it? read more

I had a massage at Bello in the fall and unfortunately for me, there was a practice session for a Flashmob going on outside--it was anything but relaxing--pounding music going on right outside the walls. After the music finally stopped, the people in the waiting room outside talked so loud that I felt they were in the room with me. I had to ask for earplugs--though they didn't mask the sound. My masseuse was excellent, except she had absolutely freezing hands during the whole massage. I have never experienced that before--usually a masseuse's hands get very warm during the massage. I don't think I will go back--I like very quiet, peaceful massages, where there is no sound encroachment from the outside world. The waiting room right outside the door is a drag. read more

I have enjoyed every experience I have had at Bello. My now 9 year old daughter enjoys going with mom and grandma on occasion for her mini mani pedi. It is peaceful and relaxing. Walked in and was surprised at how upscale it was for Eugene. The girls that worked there were so cute and helpful. Great selection of products. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere though, in some random shopping complex in the middle of a field. Hmm. Still very upscale/classy location though. I scheduled two seasonal pedicures for my daughters Valentine birthday on February 17th. These pedicures cost me $60.00 each plus tips so we were really looking forward to a special time of relaxation and pampering. The front staff greated us just ok, not good or bad, just going through the motions. Not overly friendly or welcoming. Kind of like an assembly line. The gal that escorted us back hardly talked. Just motioned us to the back where she asked us to sit and wait while she got our drinks. The sign inside says please SILENCE your cell phones which I did. I was waiting for a very important phone call which I ended up receiving while we were waiting. I answered the call and was chatting very quietly when a gal interrupted me and asked me to step outside. This was very confusing and deceptive! If there is no TALKING allowed on cell phones allowed inside then that's what the sign should say!!!!! So we finally get to the back where we meet our gals and neither one of them acted excited for us to be there. In fact, they both seemed tired. During the pedicures we tried to engaged them in conversations and jokes however they would just answer then go back to the procedure. They didn't talk to each other at all. Neither one of them smiled during the procedure and just focused on getting us out of there. I got the overall impression they didn't like each other. We felt like we were just another pedicure and on an assembly line. To me, if you are going to build your business as a high end spa, this is not. When Bello first opened I experienced way better service. The business is turning out to be just another salon for high end spenders to toss their money out the window. There is nothing special here anymore. Save your money and go to a discount salon. I will not go here again and pay those prices for just 'run of the mill' service. read more

I saw McKenzie yesterday for the first time (doing my hair). I do a full red with blond highlights, she did such an amazing job and the shaping she did on my hair was fabulous! My appointment started right on time, and my new stylist, Cari, is friendly and did an amazing job recommending a style for me. The salon got busy very quickly--a good sign, right? I went to Bello today for a pedicure and had a very pleasant time. The esthetician Linsey was quite nice and calm. She seemed to have little desire for lots of smalltalk, which is 100% okay with me. We ended up settling on a conversation towards the end of my appointment which was a nice way to pass the time, but I did appreciate a little quiet time. She made sure to check on my general levels of comfort throughout the pedicure. The girls at the front desk were helpful and sweet--I had read reviews saying they were snooty but did not experience any of that. My only complaint is that the pedicure room was FULL of customers--all of the thrones were occupied. I guess I would have preferred a slightly more intimate feel without so many women getting their nails done in my immediate vicinity. read more

I love Bello but it is really expensive. I got a haircut and color by Jonathan and he is so good. He's very young which concerned me...I mean he looks about 18! But, the guy really knows how to cut and color hair. I was blown away having recently moved here from NY and wasn't expecting much. I don't recall how much it cost but i know it wasn't much less than I spent in NY so I was a little bummed about that. I've also gotten some waxing done there but unfortunately don't recall the woman's name that did it. She was fantastic though. Friendly, warm, professional. Totally perfect. She did exactly what I wanted and no more, no less. The waxing services are also expensive but totally worth it. Then, two weeks ago I went in for a gel manicure $45. Again, totally love it. She did a great job and I was amazed at how long it lasted. The only bummer is that for the gel they don't do any massage. I don't know if that's how it goes with gels or not since it was my first time. Anyway, it was too expensive for me to make a regular habit of but she did do a great job. The receptionists are always very nice and helpful. I was expecting them to be snobby based on the decor but I was pleasantly surprised. So, all in all, a fantastic salon but just be prepared to pay for the quality. read more

Since I have such long and thick hair, most stylist end up getting burnt out by the end of my appointment and either "style" my hair by putting some mouse in my wet hair...or halfway blowdrying (making my hair super frizzy). I have been going to Bello for about 8 years to get my brows done. I have only ever seen Shannon and I love how she remembers who I am. She is friendly, professional and very good at getting your brows how you want them. She also is great with facials as I have seen her for a few as well. I have extremely fine hair and got highlights and a trim. My hair has never felt so good after highlights before. Usually it's kind of dried out, but whatever they are using is top-notch, and it has continued to feel healthy and happy long after I got them done. I didn't do a difficult cut, so I can't speak to their hair cutting skills other than that my cut was great, but what really impressed me was just the quality of the products they used so that I wasn't hurting my hair anymore. The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is because of the price, but they do great work. It is pretty pricey, like $130 plus tip, but for me it's worth it so I can keep my hair looking how I want it to, without worrying about damage. Also, the salon is pretty urban chic, which I liked, and McKenzie was really fun to talk with. read more

One of the best places in Eugene to get a haircut. I've tried quite a few and Bello has been my favorite. Initially, I walked in to make an appointment and I was greeted immediately. The stylists that I have gone to have been very professional and eager to make sure you are happy with your haircut. My wife goes there to color and cut her hair. She loves it!
