Sabrina's Brina sandwich-so good!
Daniel C.

We were strolling around looking for a place for lunch and saw Bello. It was hard to resist. Gourmet Italian sandwiches and a couple of guys in aprons chatting on the sidewalk outside. We're glad we walked in. They are super friendly and helpful at the counter, which is good because the choice is overwhelming. Sabrina recommended a panini she created called the Brina, with brie, cranberries, caramelized onions, apple, and pecans. My wife got that and it was so yummy! I got the dinde--smoked turkey, bacon, avocado, tomato, melted cheddar and aioli and that was gone in short order. What a great meal at a reasonable price.

What's not to LOVE about Bello? The food is great, the location is great, and the staff is beyond great! The team at Bello has been hard at work over the entire COVID shutdown serving up tasty panini's with a smile. Having visited some 30 or so times now, I think I would call myself a regular! I have tried many of the panini's and find myself craving the meatball panini most of all, it's the perfect combination of crisp and crunchy bread, home made meatballs, spicy lunch meat, onions and red peppers, yum! My wife orders the green wrap made with chicken and likes it so much she has never tried anything else! They have a display case full of cookies to temp you while waiting in line to pay. I like them all but my personal favourite it the Lemmon Bar, clearly made with LOVE! Bello is one of those "you can't go wrong" choices in the Old Port, check it out and show them some LOVE!

The best ever!!! We're 3 friends visiting Montreal for few days we've tried some of most popular restaurants and highly recommended places Bello deli wasn't one of them!!! We found it while we were walking around and we fall in love with it We have tried the brownies it was so much good The tea and the coffee are really really great .. we decided to come here everyday as long as we staying here Also the sandwiches are delicious and unique

I want ALL THE SANDWICHES at this place. I've tried a bunch of them, and they're all so good I would go back and get the same thing the next day. The salad serving sizes looked a bit on the small side (for my liking) so I stick with the sandwiches. It's also a deli, so you can pick up all kinds of pasta and pre-prepared (mostly Italian) goods. This place is popular with the business crowd, so it can get a decent line going around lunch time - even then it's never taken me too long to get in and out. There's some seating, but not a lot (and it's mostly small tables). If the weather's good, I grab it and walk two blocks (towards the river) and eat it in the park.

Delicious. Great offerings of vegetables and salads. Great sandwiches starting at $8USD. Combo plates about $10-$14 USD.

Great place to have a healthy lunch. Salad and veggie choices were good. Love it that they had a TV where I could watch the world cup. Staff and patrons were friendly. Reasonable prices.

Best Italian sandwiches in old mtl. Friendly staff too. Been going there for 10 years. Nothing beats the mouffalatta.

Not cheap but 1) delicious and 2) more authentic than most run-of-the-mill Old Montreal joints.

The restaurant didn't provide a high chair for our baby, which was a bit disappointing. The service was good with our waitress checking with us to order and being prompt and attentive. Here is what we ordered: Grilled Cheese O+G (8/10) - the bread with the grilled cheese and caramelized onions were cooked well. The homemade ketchup had a sweet taste to it and was brought out a little colder than room temperature. I probably would have preferred the ketchup/tomato sauce to be a bit warmer. The Chicken Melt (8/10) - this sandwich was pretty big. It had grilled chicken in a creamy sauce, some Cole slaw (actually a lot of Cole slaw) and some dill pickles. The sandwich was a bit messy to eat and I think it had a little too much Cole slaw, but it was a good sandwich, nonetheless. Overall, I good experience with a few suggestions in my review that I think would have made it really great.

Our waitress let us to our table. She was very hospitable and she spoke very good English and told us that they have a salad bar part of our meal. I ordered a classic spaghetti with meat sauce and hubby ordered spaghetti with steak. My meal was amazing. They put a lot of meat sauce and the spaghetti was just cooked right not to soft not too hard. My hubby's steak was cooked perfectly. I also tried the tiramisu not too bad. I wish they put a lot of rum. lol. Chocolate cake was delicious. The place looks elegant and expensive, although the prices are not too bad. I recommend this place.

Cute spot in Old Port, Old Montreal…read more The placemat also served as the menu. I loved that there were fun facts scattered here and there. It also worked as conversation starters. Another interesting thing here is they have an unlimited self-serve salad bar for lunch (unsure about dinner). They had kale! There were a couple of salad dressings and a variety of toppings. What was memorable was the sweet, sweet corn. Bread and butter were served at our table. I didn't expect this for lunch. #14 Spaghetti with meatballs CAD$32 - The meatballs were good, but the spaghetti was lacking. I couldn't put my finger on it, but it was just ok. (I had another Italian spot for dinner that night, and L'usine just didn't meet the bar.) The menu said this is the classic from L'usine. #19 Le Grand Prix CAD$38 - The lamb chops were pretty good! However again the pesto pasta was lacking again. Credit card/Apple Pay accepted. Bathroom is down the stairs. It reminded me of being under a pirate ship for some reason. Only indoor seating
