There is no service or coordinators that I would more highly recommend for your special day than having Justin and Sara as event coordinators. My husband and I have been married approx. 3.5 years so we have had our time to reflect on the wedding experience, and I know the struggle all too well of deciding what to use your hard-earned money on for your incredibly important day. But the one piece of advice I give any couple getting married who asks is - DO NOT SKIP THE COORDINATOR!! And speaking from experience, there are not two people I would trust more in this position for my day. To illustrate why I believe in both this service and in Bellora Event Coordination, I will tell you a little about my experience in hopes that you will make this awesome decision for your wedding day. I looked into event planning services several times while wedding planning, but ultimately the budget point made me decide I could handle day of coordination on my own. I am a very organized person who even has more of a natural knack for some of these event planning logistics, and my husband is an organized guy as well. I thought that I could plan it out well enough to do without. Although our wedding day was truly one of the best days of my life, what I learned through that experience is that no matter how organized or event-planning minded you are (and they may not be your thing either!), there are things that will occur you just can't predict and your ability to problem solve on such an important day is just a little lower with heightened emotions on a wedding weekend. And not to mention, it would be normal and okay for a person to miss a planning step when event planning is not their full time job! There are just pieces you may not think about. So event coordination is important, and here is why Sara and Justin are the right choice: The Boulware's are very important friends to my husband and I, and so we had asked them to be Host and Hostess at our wedding. However, when we arrived to our venue on Friday night for the rehearsal dinner and reception set up, wedding day issues began to arise. We didn't know it, but this was a sneak peek into our venue messing up almost every part of the wedding we had planned with them for months, and we could have never known this would be the result with all the contracts and meetings had beforehand. Without hesitation, Sara and Justin stepped up immediately. We ended up having an amazing rehearsal dinner evening, despite a rough start, and I had hoped the mishaps had been now all addressed so the wedding day would go smoothly. In the morning, some additional issues came to light, and I started becoming overwhelmed. Sara saw one little tear well up in my eye and that was it - she had entered event coordinator mode. I was told to take a walk and when I came back, Sara was handling the present issues and was already running around to vendor managers to make sure things were correct/working to preemptively make sure other issues wouldn't come up. And Sara was not alone in this work - as she ran around being our superhero, Justin without a second thought was working along side her to complete her goals. Sara was now a woman with a mission: to make this a beautiful day for the couple. As Sara put on her "respectful but don't mess with me" voice to strong-arm incompetent venue managers into doing her bidding, Justin was right behind her doing the heavy lifting to make it happen. They did not stop this mission for even one moment during our day, even (without us even realizing until the next day) staying to pack up most of our decorations so take down was an absolute breeze the next day. I couldn't believe how well organized it all was. They arranged for people to bring our gifts up to our hotel room so they were there when we arrived that night, and they made sure our vendors followed through with the detailed plans I'd printed out to give to Sara. At one point the morning of our wedding, Sara approached me letting me know an issue with something I had wanted for the ceremony, and I told her not to even worry about it. With everything that had been going wrong, I figured it wasn't worth the energy. But Sara STILL made time and when I walked down the aisle I couldn't believe she had pulled it off. I was so happy and touched and what she had done for me that day. If you want a completely stress-free wedding day, hire Justin and Sara immediately! They were absolutely instrumental in our wedding planning, and we quite literally could not have done any of this without them. They are a true dream team and were incredibly easy to work with from start to finish. Going into the process, we had a specific vision for our decor but lacked concrete ideas on how to execute it. Justin and Sara completely stepped in and brought our vision to life, meticulously putting together all the design details and creating a flawless, breathtaking aesthetic across both of our venues. They managed a complex, multi-location day seamlessly--handling everything from our gorgeous ceremony setup at Oscar Carl Vineyard to transitioning perfectly over to The Warehouse for our reception. They were so hands-on that they even went shopping for us and collected missing items on our behalf when we forgot things!
