I started ordering flowers by phone from Barbara's a few years ago: for her birthday, or Christmas, or just because. Barbara's has always assisted me in choosing flowers and arrangements, even suggesting colors. I have never been disappointed. This florist takes her time assisting customers. I appreciate that very much because good customer service is becoming a thing of the past, especially in the big metropolitan area where I live. My cousin takes a photo of her flowers every time she gets some and sends me that photo. She is thrilled to receive the beautiful flowers this florist provides. And, I am always impressed with the lovely arrangement. Other people who see her floral arrangements always comment how beautiful they are. A few days ago, I purchased a dozen yellow roses for my cousin from Barbara's. They were glorious! The artistry of this florist shows in the time they take to make any arrangement look spectacular. The yellow roses exceeded my expectation, and they made my cousin's day a beautiful one. Her son even called me to thank me for sending her the gorgeous roses. Thank you, the florists of Barbara's. The woman who owns it is insanely nice and absolutely gracious to the community. I've never seen/heard anything negative about her. The place is small, cute, and totally underrated. (My opinion of course, but that's what reviews are for!) One of my favorite parts is looking into her store front. She ALWAYS has the window decorated for current holidays and such. She does stuff for the local high school's homecoming week, Husker football, and the county fair. She'll do season-themed displays and inside has some really cute gift ideas. She doesn't have a bathroom available to the public, but does have a cute little 'kid area' for the littles to play in while parents shop and order flowers. She does wedding, funeral, Homecoming/prom, and delivery orders. I can't say she's the cheapest around, but she always does a great job. I've had every corsage made by her and now will only do flower arrangements through her. (Not much else for option in our town anyways, besides HyVee and one crap-tactic flower shop near that HyVee.) Only street parking. They'll take card/check/cash. They have balloons. Not sure if they gift-wrap. Support local businesses!!!!

Let me tell you - you get some of the most beautiful flowers and it will only cost you $35 or $45 depending on the container you choose. A gorgeous spot that I would love to find more reasons to visit. Seriously, so fun and peaceful! And they have a lot of friendly cats :)
