I stopped to tell them how much I enjoy the store, even against their competitors. I think it's important to say the words, especially for those whose work is pretty invisible. It matters to see well-stocked shelves and have friendly assistance. We shoppers notice. Thank you, employees, for being so attentive to your work. It feels like love. Who doesn't want that?! And then I have to wait for the self checkout worker to come help me. Sometimes they aren't paying attention and I have to wait quite a while or go over and ask for help. Also I don't really like driving on Alps as it's often busy really but that's personal preference.

The merchandise has a large variety of products from Africa, Middle East, India & Pakistan. They also provide fresh chapatis. I am still here wondering how a customer asking for help disrespectful--especially when she's supposed to be working instead of standing around gossiping? Her attitude was completely unprofessional, and it honestly shocked me. I came into the store expecting basic customer service, not to be yelled at for interrupting her personal chat. This was beyond unacceptable. If staff are on the clock, they should be assisting customers, not prioritizing social conversations and then lashing out when someone needs help. After speaking to another employee, he told me her behavior was "not surprising." Just to give a description, her name was Janie, and she's an older lady with long grey hair.
