I brought 60 students and 12 adults to the Double K and the entire trip from start to finish was a blast. They were so helpful with A/V equipment and even provided worship for us when we were in a pinch- which was outstanding! The art room exceeded all expectations and my students loved the experience of creating in the presence of the Lord. Definitely worth it! The studio was so beautiful. The food was great! The kitchen staff were amazing and kind! The rooms and dorms were clean and had tons of games available. Sledding was so fun, there were so many different sled options. I can't say enough good things about the Double K and Joel & Ashley and their staff. This place is blessed to have them and we are grateful for the blessing they are to Elevate Youth Ministry! There is enough space for a HUGE dancefloor---which is good because when I do The Worm, pop 'n' lock, and breakdance, I need lots of space. We were able to tour the farm, buy fresh farm eggs only $4 a dozen so cheap, and leave with pure lavender made on farm items. I highly recommend coming out here. Not to mention there are also fresh apples that they sell and apple orchards next door. My toddler's favorite part about this farm was the cat and $1.50 popsicles. Two of the places I called never returned my request for a quote, one place only had time to book us at 9 pm on a Wednesday for one hour, and one place was much smaller than the Grange for about twice the price. The Grange met all of our requirements for our event. Tara was amazing to work with: super helpful, answered all questions quickly and professionally and made the planning for our event as stress-free as possible. I would definitely book with Tara and the Grange again if I was ever in need of a large space for an event.

I checked in 2 January and stayed for the month. I am actually still here but the service has been so good, I'm yelping it now. Every morning, we get free breakfast. I'm talking eggs, cinnamon buns, milk, yogurt, fruit, juice, cereal, oatmeal, sausage, biscuits and gravy ... spared no expense. They really meant it when they said free breakfast. It's served for 3.5 hours every day. The hotel is right next to a lot of eating establishments. There is always a place to go. Domino's will deliver right to your room. Nightly they lay out cookies for everyone and coffee is available 24/7. All in all, I was absolutely taken care of. I miss home and know if I ever travel, I can stay here again. Thanks y'all.

Thanks to Pam our day was perfect! Not only was the location magical but they also did the flowers for us and they were wonderful. She had the best ideas about how to fill the space which makes sense as it is her home and we'll have a momento of our wedding growing at our house indefinitely now as we were able to plant the live center pieces that Pam suggested. We were blessed! Heidi (the owner) takes a lot of pride in her work at the venue. She was extremely responsive and answered all of our questions almost instantly. The venue includes decoration which heidi calls "the hobby lobby shop" it took so much stress off knowing I didn't have to spend more money on decorations I would never see or use again. Brides it is SO important to take lots of photos and videos. I bought things I didn't need to buy because the hobby lobby shop already had these items. I coordinated a couple extra visits to see the decor and Heidi didn't mind. (Thank you!!) because how can you decide out of all these beautiful antique pieces???! They were in such good condition and I loved having options. & DO NOT skip on a good coordinator. It is so important! It may seem like a high extra expense but it is worth it. I also loved how accommodating Heidi and Joe were for us. Joe is the muscles of this place he makes sure everything is set up so you don't have to. I had our ceremony in a spot no one has had before and they were able to do that effortlessly. We had 200 guest so I wanted to make sure everyone had enough room and by moving it out of the orchard into the field we were able to do so. & I'm so glad we did it was beautiful!
