At the end of our trip the experience was great. It was how the trip started. The 2 workers fail twice trying to inflat the air ballon , both attempts, the air ballon ended up in the water, which led to me and my group becoming nervous about the excursion. it was no explanation of why they failed or reinsurance that everything is just fine... The day they cancelled they were suppose to initiate my refund never did (Saturday) I had to call them back on Monday because they never even processed it after canceling. Then after I explain how unprofessional the experience was she then proceeded to say sarcastic & condescending remarks & since I had a problem I can go to Dewey beach in Delaware( where I live.. I was picking my friend up for her birthday who lived in northeast phila which is why we went to belmar it was about a hour away from her) I stick by what I said I DO NOT RECOMMEND. First time parasailing and to be honest I was a little nervous. Adam and "the crew" were absolutely epic. We had so much fun out there, almost wish we could have stayed out on the water for the day to hang with these guys. The "launch" and "landing" were seamless and it was clear the crew knew what they were doing. At first I thought the price was a little high when my wife brought it up but I quickly saw the value when we got on the boat. Not only was the crew thorough and entertaining, but the amount of time you spend out on the water is well worth it. I was first turned off by the political sticker at the check-in booth in support of Trump. This was especially troubling because there was such a diverse group of customers, including a Muslim family trying to book rides, when we arrived. People pay their hard-earned money for this family-friendly activity. Why would management rub their political views in potential customers's noses. The company also never mentioned a weight limit when we called to book a session for three people. It turned out that only two of us were able to ride without going over the limit. And the boat captain yelled instructions at everyone practically the entire time, which frightened some of the children on the boat. I left this experience upset and sorry that we went. read more

My wife and I had the time of our lives. What an amazing experience. The Staff at Belmar Parasail are true professionals and top notch. Adam (Boat Captain) and Robbie (First Mate) were AWESOME. Great experience for a couple of family of 3. The equipment and facilities are first rate. During the Covid-19 Pandemic and safety guidelines, the staff went Above and Beyond to make sure Everyone was safe and the sanitation was immaculate. I STRONGLY Recommend Belmar Parasail and "The Belmartian" (Boat) for a truly Unique and Once in a Lifetime experience. (However, my wife and I are definitely doing it again.) Booked parasailing for my stepson and his Dad today and they thoroughly enjoyed. This was perfect bc small enough for no crowds but also family run business with knowledgeable and experienced professionals. The area supposed to be a river but like marina area and gorgeous. They were out for about an hour. The women at the hut who checked us in was very nice and helpful. I called a few times before with questions and both times she picked up and answered my questions in helpful and friendly manner. It's nice when someone picks up the phone vs hearing a ton of options or being connected after long hold to unenthusiastic employee whose useless. I would totally recommend this place to anyone looking to parasail esp if you were first timers like us. read more

Amazing captain and crew. Safety is the priority. Serene waters and clear skies make for the perfect flight on a Jersey Shore summer day. CALL to reserve your spot, they fill up fast! It's a MUST to read the directions on how to get there. The place is easy to find and all directions are clear on their website. Look up "Belmar Parasail". The woman greets you at the parasailing shack, and confirms your time slot. You hop on the boat, leave your shoes by the dock, and away you go! You can bring a small bag with a towel, your phone, etc., and there are cubbies underneath the seats. The crew works for tips, CASH is always preferred. You will enjoy the experience so much, the crew is friendly and witty. Were great with a FAMILY OF 5 and made the 3 young boys smile. The boat ride is an HOUR AND A HALF of bliss! On our ride, we even saw dolphins and stingrays. Like I said, safety is a priority, so there's no need to be scared. It is so quiet and peaceful 300ft above the ocean waters. What an experience! It was my first time parasailing, and, although I love heights, I was a skeptic chiefly because of the name of our boat: The Frayed Knot. Dun dun dun. Parasailing is such a surreal experience. Your body tells you that you are swinging comfortably in a safe place, and your brain tries to correct itself by reminding you "You're a bajillion miles above [shark-infested] water!" I kid. We loved it - especially when the wind lifted the parasail and made us rise and dip. Best part? Getting dunked in the water. The staff was both professional and fun. Visited family in New Jersey in 2014 and went to the Jersey Shore for some fun in the sun. We were looking for something a little different than just body surfing and walking on the beach and found Belmar Parasail. We had a great experience with the kids. My wife, being Mrs Safety, asked lots of questions about safety of the rope, getting the kids out and up and reeling them back in. They explained everything and made us feel very safe and comfortable. The boat was clean and in excellent condition. Professional staff and very personable, especially Jesse who we learned is also an outstanding surfer and can give tips on that as well. The thrill was going high in the sky overlooking the shoreline - views were amazing. We were able to take awesome pictures. I highly recommend this experience. read more

My daughter who is 9 and I went for and end of summer celebration. We asked to not be dipped in the ocean after were told that we were going to be dipped bc that's fun. I told the crew that was not fun for my daughter and i and that we wish stay in the air. Once we were on out ride, it was amazing but our wonderful experience was tainted by being dipped twice in the ocean even though we asked not to be. This was was very scary to us bc we can not see into the water and we did not want our legs and waist in the ocean that far out and having no control bc we were in harness's and at the captains mercy controlling the parasail. For amount of money I spent to parasail I should have a say in wether I want to be dipped or not and what I find fun or not. I paid a lot of money to parasail and my daughter and i wanted to parasail not be dipped into the ocean. read more

Parasailing was a last-minute decision, but it ended up being my favorite part of our trip! The family that owns it is incredibly funny, friendly, and genuine--we couldn't have asked for better tour guides. I would highly recommend these guys, even if you are afraid of heights, they will make you feel right at home. The entire boat ride lasted about an hour, with 15 minutes of air time. The best part was definitely being dunked in the water and seeing Belmar from above. We even spotted a group of dolphins and rays while we were up in the air! Must-do for anyone in the area. read more
