Whether you are experienced or a beginner you will have a great experience. They have guided tours or you can rent the equipment hourly. I chose to take my daughter paddle boarding for $20 per hour. The paddle boards were clean and in excellent condition. The water in the river is fairly calm, especially during the week when most of the boats are docked. This isn't my kind of swimming water (very murky due to all the boats and jellies) but you can definitely hop on/off your board to cool off. You can make a reservation online but walk-ups are welcome. Just fill out the waiver online to move things along quickly. There is a paid parking lot or plenty of street parking.

The ceremony took place in a large chapel space on the lower level, with windows overlooking the water and nearby boats, which created a really nice backdrop. The main floor was divided into two large spaces. One side held the cocktail hour, featuring a large bar and numerous food stations spread throughout the room. On the other side was the reception ballroom, which had multiple bars, a large dance floor, huge crystal chandeliers, and expansive windows overlooking the water. The overall design felt very airy and open, with lots of white and light wood finishes, clean carpeting, and spacious layouts throughout the venue. The food was enjoyable, and there were some fun touches during cocktail hour and the reception, including a bacon station and a roaming coffee liqueur cart. The staff was also excellent throughout the evening, friendly, attentive, and well organized. I was put at ease pretty quickly because I saw lots of big and small people alike signing up. The staff was very nice to us (the staff is your ordinary "beachy type" of workers - a little rough around the edges but perfectly nice.) Onto the safety - you get a life jacket (I'm a 3x women's and they had one that fit me which was great). You also get a nice little lesson (5 min) where they explain how jet skis work, where your safety cord is, what to do if you fall off (which happened to my husband...more on this next) and where the buoy markers are that you need to stay near. Into the water - Two employees went out with our group of 6 and they were excellent! 2 out of 6 people fell off the jet skis. One was my husband which worried me, of course. I happened to have a whistle and I started blowing it immediately. I barely blew it once before, Dustin (?) Brandon(?) (cute employee) was already heading over at top speed and helped out, waived me off to let me know everything was fine. Later one other kid fell over the side of his jet ski and the other employee spotted him immediately, zoomed over and got him back on the jet ski without any issue. (The reason a few people fell was mainly because we went out when a storm was brewing, so the water was veryyy choppy). Also - don't be an idiot. Don't make sharp turns if you're new at this. Other notes: It was a little pricey at $160 for 30 min for 2 people (you could share one and pay less, but what fun is that?). You can wear some type of water shoe or secure sandal if you want to, but i went barefoot as did several other people. The place where you put your feet has rubberized grooves. Finally, don't forget to bring a towel! We forgot and drove home wet - not fun. I wouldn't recommend this for kids under 13-14. Overall, a great experience and I will plan to re-visit this place!
