We happened to be driving by and I had to pull over and park. Kudos to all the vendors for sticking it out in brutal heat and humidity. Pretty impressive selection for a relatively small market. We passed by at least three vendors selling fruit/veg, a crepe stand, bagels, fish, meat, hot sauce, and even O'some from the same street. We got some smoked fish and cookies. Looking forward to coming more over the summer. There's plenty of street parking nearby.

For 2019, they moved from their old location in the Arsenal Complex down the street to the corner of Main Steet & Whites Ave, next to Town Hall at 149 Main Street, and they are now open on Wednesdays not Thursdays from 2:30-6:30PM. An no, you can't buy anything before the bell rings! There are several parking lots nearby, and with luck you can find a space.

We walked around and finished up in less than 15 minutes, and that was only because we had to stop at the ice cream (Islander's Creamery) for samples. I saw two bread/baked goods, some meats, cheeses, hot sauce. A lot of it seemed more expensive than what I can find in the grocery store but still nice to walk around and support small businesses. Parking: I couldn't find any free parking except for street options. There's a municipal parking lot across the bridge where it's $1 for 1 hour on Saturdays.

It's grown in it's second year, has a great mix of vendors and a fun easy to navigate atmosphere. The location is easy to find once you figure out that it's in the parking lot behind the Belmont Center strip. There are performers on many of the market days, and the volunteers behind the market (full disclosure, I am one of them) are working hard to integrate free movie events, an exquisite print newsletter with great design, and a handy weekly email reminder of what's going on with the market, and with other sustainable ag events in the area.

Honestly, Weston is more of a suburb so it's a nice surprise for people when I tell them that there is actually more to see than large homes!

It is always lively and bustling. By purchasing food and goods here, you're supporting local farmers, makers, and artisans, which is awesome. More dollars go into supporting the local economy. Not necessarily. But it is still 1000% worth it. I just want someone to share in my enthusiasm about what a good deal it is. I make green juice in the morning. When I shop at Star market my juice would cost up to $5 per day. From haymarket it is like a dollar a day. And who cares if I'm not using the most pristine vegetables. It's gonna get obliterated in my blender and I'm none the wiser.
