I typically don't write reviews unless an issue is persistent, but after at least three separate…read morenegative experiences, I felt compelled to share this. Most recently, we attempted to pick up a prescribed antibiotic cream for our 4-month-old baby with mild dermatitis. The first staff member we encountered couldn't locate the prescription in their system, despite it having been sent by our pediatrician. Her response was dismissive and unhelpful: "I can't do anything; it's not in the computer." We confirmed with the pediatrician that the prescription was correctly sent and even had them resend it, this was not the first time this Walgreens failed to find an active prescription. Eventually, a more senior staff member located it and told us it would be prepared. Ten minutes later, they returned saying it would cost over $800 because it was not covered by insurance. The next day, our pediatrician's office was stunned. Their in-house pharmacy provided us with two tubes of the same cream at no cost and apologized profusely. I don't know what is wrong with the system, or staff, at this location, but quoting $800 for a simple antibiotic cream and repeatedly failing to locate prescriptions is unacceptable. We are switching pharmacies permanently. It's deeply concerning to consider what could happen if a more urgent or life-saving medication were involved. This level of disorganization and carelessness is not just inconvenient, it's dangerous. I just don't have the time and energy to engage myself in suing them. Finally, I'd like to make one more observation. While the line at this pharmacy is usually not long, typically 3 to 5 people, it consistently moves painfully slowly. It often takes 20-30 minutes just to serve a single customer. I don't want to speak on behalf of others, but it's hard to ignore the visible frustration and frequent complaints from people ahead of us. This recurring pattern strongly suggests that systemic issues are affecting more than just isolated cases. I may not know each customer's situation, but from what I've seen repeatedly, I am likely not alone in experiencing major service failures at this location. My advice: stay away, especially if you're trying to fill an active or time-sensitive prescription.

I was going to use the cream. Was surprised to see a used tube. Was told to send the tube to the manufacturer, and they will send me a new tube. Meanwhile back at the ranch. I needed the tube for my teeth. Have been a loyal customer for many years. I feel disappointed and disrespected.

HORRIBLE PHARMACY IF I COULD GIVE LESSS THAN 1 STAR I WOULD…read more!!!!. I came in after an urgent care visit for shortness of breath and asthma due to its urgency I was only in CityMd for less than 20 minutes, but I'spent an hour in Leroy pharmacy just to be denied because their system is not up-to-date. I helped them by going back to the clinic to get a print up of my eligibility. They still denied that | also went into my membership portal that showed them My coverage is active They denied that as well leven gave them a number for them to call based on providers and pharmacies and because it's the weekend they weren't able to get thru but my print up from the medical office and the portal both shown that eligible for visit and pharmacy, if I'm dealing with this and I have private insurance 1199 my bear goes out to those on public insurance in 2026 there is no room for lazy pharmacies that don't have the time to update their systems. If you're acquiring money from the public, you should be putting that back to make each interaction is convenient for everybody. I've never had to pay out-of-pocket my whole life for my insurance, but the only resolution they can come to since their system was inadequate was for me to pay $50 and to get reimbursed for my insurance DO NOT COME HERE Instead, use Walgreens use Parkchester pharmacy I'm always in and out in less than 10 minutes. Especially today Parkchester pharmacy was a huge help. All I had to do was give my information last name date of birth. They found my prescriptions instantly and I was out. That's the only conversation I had with the pharmacist was verifying my info if we want a quick happy experience use these pharmacies

My husband went to CVS today this afternoon Wednesday July 1,2026 to pick up my Prescription. I…read morefeel that people are force to put in a credit card for whatever reason for their medications for the pharmacy in the CVS App. Ok I get it some people don't carry cash so it's good for them. Me personally I always pay cash and it should be an option. I wish that my Credit was not in your system. So back to my husband he picked up my prescription and before he could say no I have the cash to pay, The girl behind the register right away made it her business and said she put it on the credit card without asking (would you like to charge it on your credit card? He would have said no because he had the cash which was $20.00 dollars for my Repatha 140 MG//ML SureClick. He said the girl is always on the first register in the Pharmacy. My husband told her my wife is not going to be happy about this. I had gave him $20.00 dollars for the medication injection and she didn't give him a chance to speak or ask him how are you paying? Who ever is the manager needs to train their associates about asking the customer first before pressing anything on the register. It's a damn shame that she didn't even ask. When I go to the pharmacy myself the tall young kid that's very polite always use to ask me first before taking action. He's a sweet young man that looks and sounds very polite and knows exactly what he's doing. I used to rate this store with the highest score but today I can't for that reason. If I was there I would've had her call a manager to refund my money back to my credit card because I have the cash and she didn't even ask. It's a shame that this happened and it had to be in the pharmacy. I never had a problem before with CVS never but today I was furious about this particular situation. Please talk to the associates in the Pharmacy about asking first and don't take it upon themselves to make decisions for their own customers thank you.
