on Friday the 23rd my son had an appointment, I had to have my mom bring him to the appointment bc of my work I wasn't able to come. The assistant that dI'd his cleaning was amazing! As soon as my son walked out of the office he face timed me to let me know that when they were checking out the lady was rude. him and my mom both said that when they walked to check out my daughter who works there came to the check out desk and said hey this is Austin smith and needs a school note... and the lady whipped her chair around and said she doesn't work here can't you tell in a very rude tone, that embarrassed my son, daughter, and mom. but my mom and son didn't know the girl that was sitting with that lady didn't work there bc she was sitting behind the computer. There were people around who heard how she spoke to my daughter and I don't feel like employees should be talked to that way. read more

Had an appointment scheduled for today. Showed up early only to find the door locked. Called to ask if someone would be able to let us in only to be told they weren't open. Was not notified of this at all. This is unacceptable for a business of this caliber not to contact their appointments to notify and reschedule. read more

Dr. Goss and her dental hygienist were lovely, but The front desk staff who booked my sons appointment didn't give me correct information about their facility NOT being on my insurance plan. I was told everything was fine and that I would only be responsible for the copay. THIS WAS BULLSHIT. I now have a $157 bill because the staff didn't do their job properly and now I have to pay for their mistake. This is completely wrong and now they have put a single mother behind on her bills because of this. Payment plans don't make it any better and other than that, they did not offer any help to me. That is just taking money away from NECESSARY bills like food and our home. This is not ok and their facility should be held responsible for their mistakes. Please do better. This may seem like an inconsequential amount to you, but to me, this is a good bit of money that I have to try to find somewhere. read more

The staff was welcoming and amazing! From the moment we walked in, everyone was friendly. Sophia, Kristen, and Myah did an awesome job cleaning my children's teeth, taking xrays if needed, and making me aware of what was going on. Dr. Goss was so polite and informative. She explained her findings and the treatment plan in detail. She even showed me the xrays that were taken. Check out staff was pleasant and explained in detail what to expect the day of coming back for treatment. I will recommend this buisness, as I know they have multiple locations, to all of my friends with children! read more

I'm not usually one to leave a review. My experience has usually been good with bringing my son. But the receptionist (Lisa) has a bad attitude. Going to the dentist sometimes causes anxiety for children. The first impression coming in the door goes a long way for possibly helping the child feel a little more at ease. She was very rude and very short when answering the questions about the wrong information that she gave us prior to the visit. All she seemed to care about was taking payment (which was different than she gave us prior to the visit). I let it get the best of me and I ended up being rude back (which did not help the anxiety either - I take accountability for my reaction). Bottom line, the doctors and assistants are great, but the receptionist needs could use some training in working with people. Try not to let the attitude of the receptionist get to you like I did. read more

Belmont Pediatric Dentistry is the best. Great office, stellar staff, amazing doctor. If you have a youngster that needs any kind of dental procedure this is the place. The staff is very friendly, professional, and is quick to develop a comfortable rapport with the children. Dr. Carson has a great personality and knows how to make kids feel at ease. The dental assistants Raquel and Kim are also fantastic and know just how to make kids feel comfortable any dental process. Everything was super clean, and they have TVs on the ceiling that play Disney movies for the kids during procedures. Excellent service, highly recommended. read more

We came to Belmont Pediatric Dentistry for my son's first dentist appointment. Their lobby is welcoming, with free WiFi information, a variety of comfortable seating and free coffee. My son was immediately taken by the 2D car mural on the wall and the kid-sized doors. They saw us quickly and both the hygienist and the dentist (Dr. Patel) took lots of time to answer questions and give advice specific to his teeth (where to focus flossing based on his teeth, etc.) They must have had a gentle touch, because my son lay patiently through the whole cleaning without a complaint. (The ceiling-mounted televisions didn't hurt, either.) The dentist shared evidence-based recommendations, and when we left my son was delighted to get a rubber ducky toy (in addition to the more standard toothbrush/toothpaste sample). read more

The wonderful office staff at Art Dentistry referred me to Dr. Johnson for my 22 month old daughter. She just had her first visit and I think she was excited about the practice as I was. She is an incredibly spirited toddler who sat still for her entire fluoride treatment and check up. The office is very welcoming for little ones with a beach theme and toys in the waiting area. The layout of the exam room is open and each patient has a tablet to watch while they are receiving their check up. The staff is very friendly and personable, it seemed that everyone from the patient coordinator to my daughter's dental assistant loved their job and kids as well. Dr. Johnson was aware of the current recommended care for my toddler's teeth and provided me with valuable advice for ditching the pacifier. As a parent you feel that your child is receiving high quality care and your questions and concerns are addressed without judgment or the feeling that you are being rushed. read more

Our past dental experiences have not always been filled with good memories, until this visit. Was able to provide my email when making the appointment so that a week before I could fill out the paperwork for all 3 of my boys beforehand and speed up the check in process. While watching "How to Train Your Dragon 2" in the waiting room, my younger two explored the toy section while my oldest played his phone games and intermittently watched the movie. Ms. Heather called us back, inviting us to walk through a pint size door meant just for little ones, she even joined them. All of the assistants were great, however, Ms. Heather spent more time talking to them and sharing her stories while listening to theirs, which seemed to help the transition. Exam room is clean and open, perfect for treating all 3 of mine at once. There is more of the suite than I was able to see at our visit, however, with the unfortunate diagnosis of a cavity, I may be experiencing soon. Dr. Cooke came to their side once all X rays and cleaning had been completed. Did I mention that each child was able to sort through Netflix on the tablets placed above their chairs and pick their own movies? Awesome way to keep them distracted from the poking around. Dr. Cooke spent time with each one of them, explaining to them and later me, what he was doing. He saw an area of concern on one of the boys and requested a follow up X ray to confirm or deny. Once treatment plans had been discussed he spoke in length with all 3 about sports, school, and his childhood. Giving them the view of him as a person and young boy and not like the "mean" dentists they are used to. Flossing and night time brushing hasn't always been a thing we could all remember to do, bad mom moment admitting that out loud. Whatever Dr. Cooke did to them, has completely changed their habits, as I walked by last night and witnessed silently while they all brushed and flossed. I would like to thank the entire staff for making us feel welcome, not making me feel like a horrible mom for their lack of flossing (or cavities). We shall be seeing you soon! read more

This is by far one of the only Pediatric Dentist offices that respect and are willing to accept Medicaid recipients despite the stigmatism we as a family get from having these benefits for our kids. Dr. Cooked is very patient, kind, and a great listener when it comes to our kids and listening to the concerns and care of patients. Every time something is not right or off we voice it to his staff and his staff back at him and then they make the appropriate steps to get their staff and office on track. Our kids have been going here since 2016 and never a scary moment from them from day one entering their doors. They are very educated and competent in their field and the best thing about them they listen!! We look forward to our kids coming here for years to come, and we are happy we did not make a rash decision in leaving. Oh, and by the way, Dr. Cooke was able to complete two fillings at one time and our daughter took very well to him. One filling she was getting on another day she was asking him as if a little mama to someone, are you done yet?! It has been fun and we will continue to support this business! An absolutely amazing first time experience for my 23 month old. He loved the waiting room with a very bright and inviting beach theme and loved playing with the trucks. Dr. Mvula and Dr. Cooke are amazing. They are patient and compassionate with our girls. Their entire staff exhibits professionalism and kindness. We were especially impressed with the care our 5 year daughter received when she had to be sedated to have a tooth pulled.
