We try to stay local so we can support our surrounding businesses instead of going to the big name stores! We will not be returning to this particular store. We dropped our vehicle off to get 4 new tires. Shortly after dropping it off my husband receives a call that one of our tire sensors is broken. Interesting because our tire light wasn't on when we dropped it off. The woman that called said I'm surprised it wasn't on. My husband asked for the sensor. When we went in to pick up the van, woman at the counter says "It's funny it was just rolling around in there in pieces." Yeah not so funny when it's gets broken by the person taking the tire off. Would it be funny if it was your vehicle? I doubt it. The woman( I didn't get her name) immediately went on the defensive it came in that way, I stand by my guys!! Yeah and I stood by my mechanics when I worked in the industry too, but mistakes happen. My husband and I did notice the signs on the counter that they are not responsible for broken tire sensors or any damage to your rims. Well we now know why both of those signs are necessary. This is their way of not taking responsibility for the actions of their employees. The pictures are provided to show the dent in the sensor, that doesn't just happen! Not like OLD Tire City! I went to have my 1 flat tire replaced, already had tire off. I noticed the waiting room was full. When I offered to come back I was told leave the wheel here and we will have it for you in about 1 hour. @.5 hours late I called, I was told they would get right on it. After another 90 minutes I drove the shop. While waiting I heard an employee telling a customer that the web site prices were wrong and she would have to pay about 45 dollars more per tire. (Should have realized) After waiting another 10 minutes I was asked if I was being helped. I had been told me wheel was not yet looked at. But they would look at it right now. After a few minutes I was beckoned into the shop and told the tire would not be fixed and i would need a new tire. I was cleaning out my garage and decided to part ways with some old rims and tires. I was referred to Tire City by a friend. The staff here is hard working, helpful and friendly. Once I arrived, I checked in at the front counter and was assigned to a service bay. You have to go into the office first to set up your workorder. The technician even helped me unload the wheels, then proceeded to take them in to separate the rim from the tire. It took about 20 minutes to do the separation. Afterwards the same technician helped me load the rims into my truck. I scrapped my rims, since I couldn't sell them. Tire City charged me $40 to dispose of the 4 old tires. This is a full service Tire service/repair facility. There are 11 service bays in this facility. If you need a brake job, or wheel and tire issues fixed, check this spot out. A staple in the area, family run and they treat you like family. The staff has always done right by me and they'll tell it to you straight so you get exactly what you need. I've bought multiple set's of Cooper tires from these guys and I trust them. There are a few things in life I can recommend you NOT to go cheap on and one of them is a set of tires. The most expensive tires are not always the best, but good tires are a must. Your children, spouse, loved ones, friends and of course yourself are irreplaceable so don't skimp on having old worn or cheap tires on your vehicle! The only thing that's tough is the wait times, but that's mainly because they are very popular. They figure out what you need and then assign you to a bay as it opens up. I recently had an appointment at 11 am for new tires, balance and alignment. I arrived a few minutes prior to the appointment time. Alignments are by appointment only. I sat and waited for 2 hours and 15 minutes. When I reviewed the sales slip, I noticed my car was not taken until 12:39pm and finished at 1:11 pm. What is the point of having an appointment if they do not adhere to the scheduled time? I could understand a 15-30 minute delay. However, a 1 hour and 40 minutes delay is unacceptable. My husband and I have been taking our vehicles there since the early 90"s. After this experience I would have to think long and hard before going back to Tire City. I had new tires put on by another tire place, when driving at a high speed I noticed a little wabble so i told my son, he looked at my tires and said "those idiots left the old weights on!" So I took it back had them fix it and there was still a wobble. I called Tire City this morning told them what happened and they said to bring it in and they'd look at it. So the moral of my story is I was treated with respect from the 1st moment I walked in and was told i didn't have to pay bc of covid 19...the lady said, "everyone needs a little help now." I have been taking my vehicles to Tire City for a number of years now and the service and pricing have generally been good. It is a busy place, bit of a factory, but if you arrive as soon as they open during the earlier parts of the week, you should be in and out within 2 hours. The front desk folks are pretty personable, as long as everything "goes according to plan." My last visit(s) however did not. After an alignment, 4 new tires, and balancing over the course of 2 appointments (3+ hours total - Make sure you have your wheel lock key (Curious they don't have master sets for such a big operation..)), I thought I was in the clear and could just focus on absorbing the money I just shelled out. I woke up the next morning and found that 1 of the brand new tires was completely flat. It was clearly a poor install as the valve stem was hissing loudly once I had put a bit of air in it. I was able to inflate and make it back to Tire City the next morning. They checked me in just like everyone else, even though the frustrated look on the attendant's face implied incompetence on the part of the tech from the prior day. 2 hours later my car was ready. The attendant who checked me out (different gentlemen than earlier), told me they were not charging me for the repair...While restraining myself from laughing, I asked if any real consideration could be given to the amount of wasted time and money already put out, perhaps in the form of a partial refund from the prior day's work, or even a credit for future work since I had every intent of being a returning customer. As if I had asked for the moon, he abruptly reiterated that they weren't charging me for the work and proceeded to crumple up the invoice and threw it out as he walked away. I understand that conflict resolution is a lost art these days, but this experience was just simply unacceptable. Juggling multiple jobs for a family of 5, I just do not have the time or patience for this. To be fair, I'm giving this business a 3 because all prior experiences have been fairly positive. However, this experience for others would have likely yielded a much lower rating. Unfortunately, the more natural consequence here is that I will be taking my business elsewhere going forward (short of repair not being successful or new tire being somehow permanently damaged from being flat overnight). It's a volume business which inherently produces errors, but it's important to really do right by customers when they happen. You should be fine to take your vehicle here, but carefully inspect everything, including those valve stems and make sure you get the wheel lock key back, before heading home. read more

Every member of the staff from the front desk, to the people on the phone, to the garage bay techs are polite and professional. Ran over a nail Saturday night. Tire City is closed Sunday, but my family has always used them so I decided to wait until Monday. Came over right after work on Monday (about 4pm) and was able to have my tire plugged in less than 15 minutes. Great service and friendly staff. My tires are coming to the end of their life so I was expecting that they may try to talk me out of a plug and to just buy new tires, but they didn't try to up-sell anything to me. I really appreciate that and when the time comes that my tires do need to be replaced (probably within the next 6 months), I intend on replacing them at Tire City. read more

Great guys! Driving on the highway during a storm, a piece of lumber fell off of the truck in front of us and we didn't have time to avoid going over it. We could tell something was wrong right away, but we didn't know how bad it was- did we puncture the tire or mess up the alignment and steering column? Luckily Tire City was nearby! It turns out it was just a bent tire rim- an easy fix. They could have taken advantage of us but they didn't!
