The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The parking was fairly spacious and easy, but I can see it has the potential to get crowded. I've visited in the weekday afternoon timeperiod. My child is in the swim team. This swimming pool has improved my child's swimming skills. The pool has all the equipment the swimmers need. Parent don't need to buy any equipment besides googles and swimwear. The changing rooms are always clean. The stuff is very friendly! The manager messages the parents for swim competition dates , friendly community events, etc... The best part is that the price for enrollment is affordable! I came for the evening lap swim for the first time today and was in for a few surprises. The pricing is really good. It's $10 for a 5 swim ticket (good for 30 days) or $25 for a 15 swim ticket (good for 60 days). They're like punchcards, so make sure you bring your ticket with you each time you come. There is no option for a 1 time swim, which is a bummer because this pool is far away from me and I don't know how often I can make it out here. Going out to the deck was by far the most annoying thing. Apparently, you are not allowed to have any sandals/shoes, towels, CLOTHES, bags, etc on the deck. You can only be wearing your swim gear and have a water bottle. I also brought my own pull buoy which was fine to bring out, so I think misc swim equipment is fine to have but you have to carry it out there or put it in one of those green bags that is supplied by the pool. This was super annoying, especially not being able to have a towel out there. There are individual showers in the women's locker room and lots of space. If it's crowded, I think it would be hard to find bench space to put down your stuff but when I went it was empty. The free swim times are on the weekends12:30-3:30pm only, and it's rec swim, so while you can do laps, it is not gauranteed, according to the pool attendant, that you won't have random kids in your lane. If you're a serious lap swimmer, another annoying thing is that there is no clock for you to time yourself. And the water temp felt really warm to me. The pool is super nice and clean, so I'm overall pleased with this pool! read more

Belvedere Aquatic Center is the place to be! Kids always seem like they're having fun and enjoying their time. I will always recommend this place. My kids are always begging me to go everyday. I like when they tell me to follow the rules, I listen and follow them the guards are the most respectful guards i have ever experienced 10/10 service i'm not sure why i'm not allowed to dive in the 4 foot shallow end... or why they don't let me take pictures of the pool with a bunch of minor kids in it... or why they don't let me run... it's like they think i'm going to fall and break something... weird read more

Visited Belvedere Aquatic Center with my twin girls as a back up because our regular water playground is closed now since most kids are back to school. To my surprise it was free, and EMPTY!! I mean given it was a Monday and right about noon time. Pros- clean facility and lots of guards. We had the waddling pool and splash zone to ourselves so the guard was literally walking behind us the whole time it was funny but a bit a distracting for the kids. Cons- kids are not allowed to wear floaties or crocs to pool area. The crocs I can see why, I would imagine when it full it's hard to have a shoes laying around everywhere. Maybe having a designated shoe area would be nice considering the floor is hot especially for little ones. The floaties is what is mind boggling because there is no gate around the bigger pool. We personally were in the water with our little ones but I can't imagine a parent looking away for a second and having their baby fall into the 13 feet pool. Oh that's another note you must be with your child at all time. So plan to get in the water. Like I mentioned we had the splash zone and waddling pool to ourselves so this wasn't a problem I just can't imagine how annoying it would be having too many adults towering over my kids while trying to keep up with theirs. read more

A parent is not allowed to sit and watch their child in the pool, no towels allowed outside near pool area where it is needed you are expected to place it in locker. Staff is rude and on power trip. Don't get me wrong, this is a great place, despite not having lockers, the system is simple, you can get lane tickets which reserve you a lane. 10 for 5 entries $20 for 15 entries Free on weekends You change into your suit and drop off your bag in the staff room. I came around 6pm and it was pretty empty, awesome. I did not like that the pool was hotter than °80, makes me overhear and get dizzy real quick. There was very little chlorine, I guess I am just use to more, this water tasted salty. I did really like the locker rooms. The restroom is separated by a wall from shower room which is opposite from changing stalls. Very clean, lots of privacy, doesnt stink. Staff was very nice and informative. read more

Found this little gem on yelp while we were in the area and decided to bring my two boys here for some swimming fun. We came a bit early and was told that the swimming area was not available until 6pm because of swim meet (this was a friday evening).No problem! The kids had fun at the park adjacent to the center and had a great time. We were even able to get hot dogs sold by local vendors in the park! Yumm!!! Nothing beats supporting small businesses! Admission to the swimming center was FREE and everything they did to ensure safety was above and beyond exceptional. If you want to get into the pool, make sure EVERYONE is in their swimming attire. We came with life jackets, swimming shoes, towels, extra clothes etc. All these items had to be left inside a black bag (provided near the entrance) and checked in at the window. The only thing you are allowed in with is a hat and swim goggles. At first I was like wth?! Not even life jackets? But it made sense when I got inside. There were life gards everywhere! They made sure kids don't run, jump, or be crazy while in the water. AND the pool was super clean!! Not much chlorine smell! I LOVED THIS!! My 3&5 year olds played in the 1feet and 3 feet area. I felt very safe! Overall this has to be one of the BEST if not the BEST recreational swim center I have been to. Too bad we were from out of town and was just visiting, otherewise I would take my kids here frequently! read more

My friends and I come here to do some lap swimming and it quickly became a routine. Every Tuesday, we go for night lap swimming. They have lap swimming in the evenings from 6-8pm and in the mornings from 6-8am ($10 for 5 times and $20 for 15 times.) There are plenty of lanes so you can easily have a lane all to yourself. And the pool is also heated. There is a club swimming team that uses the pool everyday but they are usually done by 7pm. The staff is great. The facility is very clean and they clean it every night. They also offer other classes and workouts. So if you wanted to change your routine, you have plenty of classes to choose from like diving, water polo and water aerobics. Been going a couple of times a week for over a year. The Staff is first class, the management, not so much. I've had some issues with them cutting back Senior Wellness hours, sometimes with absolutely no advance notice. Today, the big pool was closed during Senior Wellness hours. I could have gone in the smaller pool where the other senior bob up and down in place while gossiping with their friends and (probably) happily peeing in the water. But it is impossible to move around horizontally without crashing in to people, plus the water is too warm. They could have easily extended the Senior Wellness hours a half hour, but I guess Seniors are worth the minimal effort to do so. These bureaucratic pendejadas are why people are so willing to support an idiot like Trump. The facilities are above average. The premises are very clean, I've never had a problem with the water quality as far as not over or under chemicals, it's always clear, etc. There have been times when the water in the big pool is too warm, which makes it strained to have a good workout, warm water saps energy especially in the winter. The shower water is much too hot and while they may have lowered it a bit, it took a long time and they still don't get the concept that pool showers are mainly just for a quick shower before and after, not a long, lingering one that reddens the skin it is so hot. It summary, great pool, except the management can do a better job. Or get rid of them and move up some of the Staff people, who seem more concerned about people. read more

This is a nice facility. It has an Olympic-size pool, a reasonably spacious deck, and a communal supply of pool equipment. I'm not entirely familiar with the lap swim hours, but every time I go there are at least a handful of lanes reserved for lap swimming. I wish the facility had a jacuzzi so I could more effectively loosen up after a tough workout. I also wish there was a larger parking lot. The existing lot is shared between the aquatic center and the park. That being said, it can get a pretty crazy, especially on a nice, sunny day. All in all, it's a good place to go for a swim. read more

This facility is absolutely amazing, one of the nicest public pools I've ever seen. The staff here are very nice too. Unfortunately the scheduling and rules here don't make any sense at all and basically add up to this pool being next to impossible to utilize. It's a real shame because this should be a resource readily open to the public for exercise purposes. My 10-yr-old daughter is a pretty good swimmer but the only time we can enter the pool and swim together is during the Public Swim / Free Swim sessions on weekday afternoons during the summer holidays. If you have ever been here during the Public Swim / Free Swim times, you know that the staff treat you kind of rudely, they yell at all the kids constantly, and the worst part: you can't really do any swimming at all because there are too many people. My daughter needs to be able to practice her laps but you can't get in the lap lane until you can do 2 laps. Kind of an amazing chicken & egg problem, which amounts to young swimmers not getting the chance they need here. Very disappointing waste of an amazing facility. Thanks, bureaucracy! read more

I have been coming here everyday for a year and a half and I couldn't be happier. The lifeguards r all very nice and friendly and for the most part the locker rooms r clean. I have been coming here for aqua therapy and it has helped tremendously. Before coming here my legs would go numb all the time and now not at all. The instructors r very helpful (especially stacy chan) and very knowledgeable about what exercises help out different body parts. read more

Great place if you're looking to go for a swim and get some laps in. There are some things to consider like free swim hours. If you can't make those, they do offer classes and/or lap swim times as well ($10/5 visits, good for 30 days from date of purchase). It's much better than the 24 Hour Fitness pools that just have 10 old people wading in the water per lane. read more

Awesome community swimming pool! Friendly staff and lifeguards. Lifeguards look like they're really paying attention, which is great. I read a review that the lifeguards are rude about running on the deck? There are safety reasons for not having people running around when the floor is slippery (e.g. your kid could break his face) and sometimes lifeguards might have to raise voices or be more assertive for them to listen. The pool is very large and clean, chlorine is not too strong. There is a digital clock with minutes and seconds by the side of the pool. Easy free parking in the lot. Showers and changing cubicles have privacy curtains. The showers also have mild soap dispensers and fortunately, warm water. Separate male/female shower/toilet/changing rooms. There are no lockers. You leave your stuff (including towel) in a bag hung in the staff room (between the male/female sides). When done swimming, you turn in a safety pin with a # for your belongings bag. I guess this reduces clutter on the deck and keeps from having rusty lockers in the shower/changing area. A+ would swim here regularly :) I would say it is comparable to UC Irvine and De Anza City College pools in quality. read more

Gave the second star just because of the awesomeness of the venue. Yes, there are a bunch of kids there, and as usual, the kids are bound to mess up and do something wrong. There are lifeguards everywhere, which is a good thing. There's about two or three for each of the four pools. So, today I went with my cousins summer camp to this pool. Me and here were beyond excited, and most of the kids were too. the lockerooms were big and spacious, but the showers and the cleaning area reeked, and I mean REEKED of urine. Ewww just ewww. then, I know that you aren't supposed to run by the pool, but the lifeguards don't need to be ridiculously rude about it. I even heard one say (and in a rude tone) "no running, don't make me tell you again" to a group of kids...I don't get how that's supposed to work, but I found that really mean. then, me and my cousin decided to get out of the pool, and go to the other smaller pool. for being a sunny day, the cement floor was hot. my cousin, sort of picked up the pace on her walking, and walked SLIGHTLY faster. then, about four different lifeguards yelled at her. wow, just wow. I don't know if they hate there jobs or whatever, but that's just unacceptable. will be returning, but not as soon. read more

This is the best swimming pool I have visited in Ela...I am happy to see such a great Aquatic Center in its current location.The staff are very helpful and have great customer .I hope to see more of the neighborhood kids joining the swim team and encourage all the sleepy heads to get up early Saturday mornings and join us for lap swimming.The pool is heated and kept very clean ..Great job political leaders and community....I come from Pasadena to swim here.. read more

Love the new set up! They have a swimming pool for swimmers that want to do lap swimming.They also have a pool 3.6 ft to 4 ft just for the public . Last they have two little pools that are 1 ft . But BE AWARE those lifeguards are something else! They kept saying that my girls were running when I was clearly walking right next to them. I stopped the girls & asked them to tiptoe because maybe their understanding of walking is to tiptoe. Let me tell you it worked they didn't get scolded anymore. But a couple of minutes later comes the lifeguard to tell us the girls need a one to one in a 4 ft pool . They are 4 ft 4 inches & they know basic swimming skills like floating and dog paddling swim, after we've been in the pool for more than an hour . They don't let you enjoy your time in the pool. Rather go to other public pools that are 2 ft -6ft & they allow children in the 2 ft through 4.5 ft section. I understand that they are trying to protect our children but why not supervise the inside of the pool were a child could need their help. Also the dressing room REEKS like urine so gross!!!! They need to clean those dressing rooms & restrooms up . read more
