Was transferred here from another attorney and had high hopes for things but when it came down to mediation it seems they didn't have all the information medication wise. What Medication I recalled I was given basically it wasn't in my medical records when was seen at the hospital but I knew I had this certain medication but couldn't find the proof. Well then it dawned on me it had been sent to the previous attorney. So the communication is lacking I know either way I accepted what was offered but I just wish that certain medication would of been found prior to or that information would have been transferred from the previous attorney would of had a different outcome read more

Hello, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the lack of communication and professionalism I have experienced with your firm. I was scheduled for a 10:00 AM deposition today, June 18, 2026. Despite receiving a phone call several weeks ago and a letter postmarked May 8, 2026, I have been unable to get in touch with anyone recently. I called several days ago to confirm the details and left voicemail messages for both the attorney and his assistant, yet I received no response. I drove over an hour and a half to attend this deposition today. The lack of consideration for my time and the failure to respond to a client regarding such a critical matter is deeply concerning. This experience has made me feel as though my interests are not being prioritized and has left me feeling unsupported in my own case. It is my belief that there may be an attempt to secure a negative outcome against me due to my perceived absence. Furthermore, I have been informed that the defendant's attorney canceled the deposition because my attorney, Joshua Hancock, is in another deposition at this same date and time. I'm not usually the type of person to leave a review, but I'm extremely disappointed with this firm. I had high expectations going in, but this entire experience has been nothing but frustrating. I filed my claim in October 2024 and it's now October 2025, my case has still not been closed. During this entire year-long process, I have only been contacted maybe twice. Every few months, I receive documents to sign with no explanation of what I'm signing or why. There's been zero communication or transparency. Whenever I've tried reaching out myself I either don't get an answer (and yes, I've called during business hours), or my call gets redirected to the main office, where no one seems to know what's going on. When I finally do get through, the staff are grumpy, defensive, and act as though I'm bothering them just for asking simple questions. What's even more frustrating is that they somehow manage to send me holiday cards for every holiday right on time, yet they can't answer the phone or tell me where I stand in my case. The priorities here make absolutely no sense. It's honestly upsetting that they take such a large portion of your payout but make you feel like you're the one working for them. No updates, no communication, and no sense of urgency. It feels like they don't care about your case at all. If you don't constantly follow up, you will be completely ignored, and when you do, they act irritated. I rarely post reviews, but I hope this helps others think twice. Ben Abbott is a good reputable company they did well on my case. I feel like I was treated very well thanks to one of their attorneys, Blanca Milan. She called me back and went over everything with me in details, and in Layman's terms. She listened to all my questions and concerns and didn't leave me hanging or guessing. All the paperwork regarding the medical and paperwork about my accident was handled by this company and thoroughly explained by my attorney. Blanca stayed in contact with me till the very end and I was able to call her anytime I needed her help. When everything was settled and done, I was able to pick up my check at their cashiers office if I wanted to. I have a car accident 2 months ago, I got hit by 2 cars, I got referred to this lawyer since he did a great job to one of my family members and 3 weeks ago, the lawyer called me saying that we will have to go to court, because the car involved in the accident change their statement and now are blaming you. I was still on recovery process and this news put me in a very stressful situation, but I trust the lawyer. Them when I call the lawyer office they told me that an till my treatment is over, they can move my case forward. I understand, but I let them know that there is so real evidence that will be lost, like parking lot camara footages. They insisted that they can't do anything an till my treatment is over. I ask them again to please get the evidence and they say YES, we will get the evidence while you are on treatment. I felt relieved, but when I call again to see the status of the evidence, the told me that since you still on treatment we can't work on the evidence that is NEED IT TO WIN THE CASE!!!!! My experience with this law firm was long and not worth my time. It took 3 years to reach a settlement. Most of their communication with me were through texts. We had to go to trial. I received a call from an assistant, informing me that photos of my vehicle were misplaced. They day of my The day of my trail my lawyer was about 30 minutes, LATE and he was not my original lawyer. I have no other complaints about him. He was professional and very helpful. I won the case. A settlement of $28,000 was reached. I understand that medical and attorney fees must be paid, what I don't understand is how Ben Abbott & Associates received over $11,000 and my check was less than my current car payment!! I just wrapped up a case from a 18 wheeler RUNNING A RED LIGHT in 2015 and WE LOST! All the attorney said to me after three years of dealing with them was "sorry". 1: In the beginning they acted as if they couldn't find the trucker's information, I did research FOR THEM and found the company he worked for and contact and gave it to them. 2. I didn't meet or speak to the actual attorney on my case until the DAY OF COURT. 3: The attorney that assisted me during my mediation had been out of law school for 6-9 month and didn't know anything about my case, luckily there was a woman there who came to help him through the mediation. They don't call you or keep you informed on what's going on, they don't prep you for the case. They will give you the runaround. I was patient with them, but their entire process is a scam and they are ridiculous. I had the option to settle out of court but what I was offered compared to my medical bills was BS but they didn't even attempt to fight or advise me to settle out of court and take what was offered. ABSOLUTE WORST LAW FIRM TO DEAL WITH!!!! This law firm got my case September 2017. My case was transferred from one case manager to another, but "I" the client received absolutely no notification of this change. So, when I call the case manager that I had information on, I receive nothing but attitude, because she ALWAYS has to transfer me to my NEW case manager... ANYWHO, I call on October 16 (almost 1 month after they have had my case to get an update) and I'm told that my file is sitting on someone's desk who is out on maternity leave. (WTH!!) Just sitting there, ready to be sent off. Rep (I'm going to try to leave out names to save embarrassment) tells me she's going to escalate it to a supervisor and get it sent off TODAY.. Fast forward, 10 days later, October 26, I call to get an update (Yes, I call for all updates, because no one EVER called me to tell me ANYTHING about my case). I'm told they need to do a verification. I'm like a WHAT?? Is this holding up my case??? Oh no, no, no. Your, demand was sent on 10/16, but we still need to do your verification. Ok, fine, whatever. We get that done. However, I want to speak with a supervisor. My response I get is, "Oh, she's busy". I request a call back. Fast forward 2-3 more conversations, I'm still requesting to speak with this "Busy" supervisor who still has not called me back. Ok Fast forward again, its now November 17. I ask same girl who is assistant to my "case manager" on maternity leave to fax me the demand that was sent on October 16. Her response is, why do you need it?? Because its mine, and I asked for it! I want a copy of everything you all do, and have. I want every demand and negotiation that is discussed w/the insurance company reviewed with me first, and I don't want any offers accepted without my approval. This is our conversation on November 17, 2017. I give her my fax number and email address. She tells me she is faxing over the demand. I never received it. November 18... Nothing received. November 19, nothing received (you get my point) November 27, 2017. I call my old case manager and request to speak with the "busy" manager directly. She talks with me. Very sweet woman. Says she knows nothing about me EVER requesting to speak with her. NEVER knew about me requesting a phone call. I tell her about all previous conversations, and the fax I requested of my demand. She agrees to send me the fax. Fast forward 1 day later, I still don't have the fax. I call her again. I ask her when was my demand sent to the insurance company. She tells me NOVEMBER 17, 2017.. excuse me... SAY WHAT.... YALL JUST SENT THIS DOCUMENT YESTERDAY????? But I was told on 10/16, 10/26, 11/17, that this was already done. Nope, had not done anything at all until I talked to the supervisor.. Real cute.... November 29, 2017. I sent a very professional email to "busy" supervisor. I want this law firm dropped from my case. I no longer want this attorney representing me on this case for this accident. I need to receive a letter in writing saying this law firm has been released with no interest in retaining any interest in this case. November 30, I receive a call from Jose Garcia. Mr. Ben Abbott wants to retain you, you have a good case, blah blah blah.. I'm not interested. No thank you. Ok, I will discuss this with Mr Ben Abbott and get back to you by the end of the day or no later than tomorrow. I assume Jose Garcia died, because I never heard from him again December 5, I get a call from "Itssa" Mr. Ben Abbott, appreciates you, and wants to retain you, blah blah blah. I give her the same story I gave the deceased Mr. Garcia. IM NOT INTERESTED.. DROP THIS CASE AND GIVE ME SOMETHING IN WRITING.. December 6, I email "busy" supervisor. I keep receiving these phone calls, and I have made it very clear, I DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH THIS LAW FIRM.. BLAH BLAH BLAH.. DROP THIS CASE!! PROVIDE ME SOMETHING IN WRITING THAT STATES THE SAME, WITH NO INTEREST TO RETAIN ANYTHING FROM IT!!! "Busy" supervisor replies back, I will forward this to Mr Garcia, (who apparently has rose from the dead), and make sure he follows up with you tomorrow). December 7----NO CONTACT FROM ANYONE December 8--- I Start leaving voicemails for EVERYONE WHO I HAVE A PHONE NUMBER FOR AT THIS LAW FIRM TO MAKE IT CLEAR THAT THEY NEED TO DROP THIS CASE. A total of 14 VOICEMAILS left throughout the day, (because no one answers there phone) until finally, case manager that was on maternity leave finally calls me back.. AWEFUL!!!! My case manager does not return calls or emails. She only returns them after I leave 6-10 emails back to back or after I leave 3-4 voicemails. I leave voicemails all the time, only to get a return call days later. Last time I spoke with her was 3 weeks ago when she was waiting for the adjustor to "contact her" I have emailed her 3 days in a row and no response.
