Fun fact -- Kilwins actually started in Petoskey, Michigan, and you'll see their shops all over Michigan beach towns, which explains the nostalgic, old-fashioned ice cream shop vibe. I asked for a sample of fudge and the girl literally did not know how to cut a fudge sample. She needed help. Are you kidding me?! To make matters worse... the cookies I bought were stale. And the peanut butter cups had a tiny drop of hard peanut butter on the inside. Awful customer service and terrible food. Not worth the price.

The Peach Cobbler Factory sells 12 flavors of cobbler, 6 cinnamon roll flavors, 12c flavors of banana pudding, brownies, pudd-n shakes, Belgian waffles, churro stix, cookies, peach tea, and cold brew coffee. Every brick-and-mortar locations also offers catering, mobile units, and delivery. By the end of next year they expect to have at least 250 franchises open including 30 locations in Florida from Key West to Palm Beach. There is a Peach Cobbler Factory at the Crossroads Square in Pembroke Pines and this one opened up recently at the Palm Court Pavilion on the corner of Broward Boulevard and Federal Highway. I was in the downtown area and curious so I decided to come and check them out. The inside is a cramped L shape. You order at the counter when you walk around the corner to the seating and pick up window. The interior is a bright orange with LED screens displaying slick videos of the products. They also have a neon wall for the Instagram pictures. There is some seating out front. I ordered the signature peach cobbler and a few minutes later was presented a small cup of scorching hot cobbler and a second of vanilla ice cream. I was disappointed jut looking at it. No crust or topping over the cobbler, it was mixed in. No discernable pieces of peach. It looked like crap in a cup. The cobbler wasn't fruity but the ice cream was worse. It was like some non dairy whipped topping. The whole thing was terrible and not cheap either. It was $10 for that tiny amount and of course they want tip. I have had better and cheaper cobbler many other places. All I can think of is that something got lost from the food truck to the franchise. One and done, it's a big no thanks from me.
