Oh boy. This restaurant seems to rely too much on it's very nice location with great views. We sat at a table with a perfect view of the ocean. It was breezy and slightly rainy which was perfect for me. We ordered beers with jello shots, for old time's sake.. I could not drink the jello shot out of the paper cup it came in. It was gross. The cup was almost falling apart. The beer was nice and cold. The conch fritter appetizer was so good. I loved them. Served crispy and hot. Delicious. I ordered a mahi sandwich and got a house salad instead of the fries. I recommend not getting the fries. I took two and they are not good. No flavor at all. My salad was ok. My mahi sandwich was just bad. Nothing exactly wrong with the fish, the coating was flavorless. I just took a few bites The other two seemed to like their Cuban sandwiches. Danny was our server. He is so, so nice. I would only come back for the conch fritters. For the cost, there are several better and even less expensive than this place.

Great, funky spot on the beach. Food much better than we expected. Quesadilla was better than I've had in a long time and you could tell the chicken fingers were made in the kitchen, not just taken out of the freezer. Our waiter Sam was great.

The hand breaded mozzarella triangles were golden brown, crispy and served with a tasty marinara dipping sauce. The drinks were cold and refreshing. The service was ok. After our meal was served, we didn't see the waitress again until we asked for the check. The view of Fort Lauderdale beach with the waves breaking on the shore that we could observe from our table was relaxing.

Found this restaurant in the mall complex by our beach towera Marriott hotel room. Loved the signage coming in. Very entertaining to read. We bee lined for the window seat to enjoy the he Atlantic ocean. The high top and open seating felt we were in a wind tunnel. Didn't mind. Marie was our waitress and greeted us kindly. She was professional, fun, and knowledgeable. We ordered the gator bites, a rum and coke, spicy watermelon margarita and the white peach sangria. Everything was delicious and came to the table quick. Great atmosphere, lots of TVs and good music.

great place to watch games We went for dinner.... What do you expense it's a Louisiana twist on bar food. It was good but def greasy for the fried pickles. The fish tacos were tasty and would get it again.

Second stop on our unsanctioned Fort Lauderdale Strip Pub Crawl at the Beach Place which hosts an array of eateries, bars and beachy shops. All the big restaurant/bars here have unobstructed views of the beautiful Ft Laud beach - breathtakingly amazing, movie worthy. We enter and immediately thought, "This is a fun fun fun place". There were two tables of Beer Pong, darts and a Wall Hook Game. This would be a wild spring break location for college kids for sure. The decor was hardcore surf and beach theme and a large tiki hut style center bar and a back area smaller bar. Met with the bartender, Gabby, who explained the happy hour deals. She recommended the coveted frozen strawberry/pina colada for $8.00, which we happily wanted. She placed the drink in front of my wife, who quickly drooled, and stabbed a mini umbrella into the red cherry next to the pineapple wedge and the red/white oversized straw (the dang paper kind that gets soggy quick). This two flavored frozen drink was strong and sweet. You can add $5.00 for an extra floater shot but Gabby showed us the well liquor bottle and it was not a known brand so we skipped it. Sat across from the bar at a table with crazy views of the beach while sipping the drink and the sea breeze blowing my wife's hair into her face. We placed a few rounds of the Wall Hook Game which the wife won. The manager came over a few times to check on our happiness. The had a decent selection of Lulu Bait Shack shirts for sale in their kiosk. The men's bathroom was clean.

It started out not great. They sat us right away not very busy took 20 minutes for someone to take drink order. After that service was fine. Had conch fritters and shrimp tacos. Drinks were very good. And good music.

Walked up the stairs to the second floor of Beach Place at the Fort Lauderdale beach. A cool ocean breeze was blowing my hair all over the place. Spoke with the bartender and ordered a delish strawberry pina colada for $8 during happy hour. Brought my drink to a side table overlooking the beautiful beach and ocean. The decorations were a fun surf theme. It was not busy at all but will return at night to check it out.

    Baja shrimp tacos

If you're in the area, Lulu's Bait Shack is an absolute must. I ended up going every single day during my week-long trip--and yes, I even bought a shirt to remember it! The Baja shrimp tacos are seriously some of the best I've ever had--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done. The drinks were just as impressive: I tried several different ones over the week and didn't have a single complaint. The view is unbeatable. Located right on the beach a couple of stories up, you get an incredible ocean view while enjoying your food and drinks. The vibe is fun and relaxed, and the service was consistently great throughout the week. Great view, amazing food, and friendly service--what more could you ask for?

I love the open air concept, and having such a great view while having dinner. We ordered the Gator bites to start, and they were fantastic. For our meal we had the coconut shrimp and Caesar salad. It was one of the BEST Caesar salads I have ever had. I loved the dressing as it had a bit of a peppercorn taste to it. A great twist on a classic staple. We ordered many drinks, and the Hurricane was great. Not overly sweet. For sure will come back when in town! A great experience with our server Max. She was great.

First & foremost- yes this is in tourism central. We usually end up in the area when family is in town for lunch after the "beach day." That stated, the shrimp tacos and Mahi sandwich are always pretty good. The staff is nice and we keep going back every spring break and thanksgiving visits from our mother family. So this time, sister ordered the burger and, WOW, it was really good! It was two patties that were perfectly charred and you could taste that open flame. Is it a destination place for locals? Not (as in a hard no for me) but I will be back over spring break and will order my very own burger vs. tasting hers! Side notes- mom enjoyed the Thai salad and neice always gets the chicken Cesar. Just get the dressing on the side and they are heavy handed! Then there is the view...!

Juicy, perfectly cooked, stacked the right way--this is the kind of burger you end up thinking about the next day. Easily one of the best I've had on the beach. What really stood out though was the staff. The servers and management move in sync like a World Cup soccer team--everyone knows their role, the timing is on point, and the service just flows effortlessly. You can tell there's real teamwork behind the scenes. And then there's the view. Sitting outside with the ocean right there, the breeze coming through--it sets the tone for the whole experience. It's the kind of spot that reminds you why South Florida beach dining hits different. Rock Bar leaves a real impression. Great food, sharp service, and a true beachfront vibe. It is incredibly obvious that management is prioritizing high-volume sales over legal compliance. Throughout the night, I observed security and bar staff consistently giving "passes" to individuals who were clearly using poor-quality out-of-state "novelty" IDs. The bartenders barely glance at the birth dates before serving massive 2-for-1 drinks to groups that are clearly underage. Lots of tiktoks circulating from college students who are blantantly 18 and 19 and openly express that they use fake ids at rockbar. Do a quick search for yourself and read the comment sections. The security here is also very aggressive, the dyke lady in the back thinks she runs Fort Lauderdale.

I don't think they take reservations, but there is a bunch of space outside where you can wait, have a drink. Enjoy watching the water etc. The Coconut shrimp was amazing as were the fries. The Fritter appetizer was great, same with the oysters, pretty much everything was phenomenal. My only suggestion is don't overdo it especially if you're visiting and have a hotel that does not have a way to reheat your food later. Also, very nice drink selection and if you're not looking for alcoholic drink drinks, they have Coca-Cola not Pepsi as of this review. I specifically called ahead on a Sunday to ask if I could come in and order the Comfort Bowl to go, since I had previously been told it wasn't available during brunch. The person on the phone put me on hold, checked, and told me I should have no problem ordering it. I even double checked again with her because I had been denied this exact situation before. So I walked about a mile in the heat, arrived drenched in sweat, sat at the bar, and was immediately told they could not make it because they were serving brunch. The manager came over, confirmed they would not make it, and seemed completely indifferent that I had just called and been told the opposite. Bottom like, they don't care if they told you the wrong information and wasted your time. Mistakes happen, but wasting someone's time after they specifically called ahead and double-checked is unacceptable. After years of spending money here and recommending this place to others, I'm done. I won't be returning, and I highly recommend you don't waste your time, it's not worth it.
