A unique ice cream sandwich experience. You can get hot pressed custom ice cream sandwiches made on the spot. You should try it. The service people will talk you through everything. Now, for you gluten free and vegan (milk free) people, you will be surprised that this place has what you want! Important! The vegan and gluten free options are hidden in the back! They do it to prevent cross contamination. But if I didn't ask, I never would have known. Where else can you get a gluten free and dairy free ice cream sandwich? Here!
This was definitely the wrong thing to do after dinner but could not resist. Had three scoops of vanilla ice cream wedged between two thick chocolate brownies for $10.00. They offered the option to warm up the treat which was welcomed. OMG it was so good and walked thru Dania Pointe to burn off some of the 1500 calories. The gender neutral bathroom was clean with light blue walls, industrial style cracked cement flooring and a fragile toilet seat in need of repair.
The warm chocolate brownies were delish but I only like to combine it with boring vanilla ice cream. This is my first time here but have been at the Sawgrass store a few times. Nice counter girl and quick to make my dessert, cost only $10. It came in a styrofoam bowl so easy to walk and enjoy in Dania Pointe.
My first experience with The Baked Bear was in Nashville, so I was thrilled to see this just a few steps away from my hotel. I forced all my coworkers to join me and we all loved it! Lots of great cookie and ice cream options. Great, quick service. You really need to stop by here if you're in the mood for a sweet treat!
From the moment you step inside, the smell of freshly based cookies will make you want to order everything on the menu. After looking at the menu for a while, I decided to make my own ice cream cookie sandwich. I chose snickerdoodle and white chocolate macadamia nuts cookies with the toasted s'mores ice cream. It was so delicious. The warm cookies with the cold ice cream is a perfect pair. The service was fast and great. I just wish there were more places to sit inside. Besides that, this is a great place to come have something sweet.
I was a little skeptical about trying this place as the cookies didn't look very appealing at first glance. But, I'm so glad I was wrong!!!! We got a custom cookies n' cream sandwich (both ice cream and cookie), and it was delicious. I appreciated that you could get the sandwich pressed for the warm cookie and cold ice cream pairing. I also liked how soft the cookie was. The servers weren't very friendly/helpful, but the ordering process was smooth. My main con is that I didn't feel that the price was comparable to the product- that sandwich wasn't worth $10 imo. Nevertheless, I appreciated the yummy treat! Thanks!!!
Like my 12 year old daughter says - it's straight bussing! Lol . Really enjoyed my ice cream here ; wife got the mud coffee which was exceptional ; the brownie chocolate was also excellent . The winner for me was the cookies and cream cookie which was to die for . Very please and will be back . Service and vibe also on point . !!!
A line out the door but was moving somewhat quickly. One employee was helping customers while the other employee was cleaning in the back. This was easily the messiest dessert I've ever had. While it was delicious, it was so hard to even eat. I ended up tossing a good amount of it out because it just turned into a mess. My combination was probably too much and I should have kept it more simple, but that's my own fault. Everything in the case just looks so good that I got carried away with what I picked!
Happy to see an ice cream sandwich shop in Dania Pointe! Surprisingly, they had my favorite ice cream flavor that's not typical - s'mores! My husband got an ice cream sandwich w/their cookie of the day which was blueberry. The cookie was moist & delicious & not overly sweet. Which compliment nicely with the vanilla ice cream. The setup is industrial & open. Not a lot of room for more than ten people at a time but there are nice sitting spots outside. Service was kind & friendly. They also have the mexican coca cola to enjoy with your ice cream which is coca cola and a glass bottle made with real sugar.

This is a neat little ice cream shop in a trendy strip mall complex in Fort Lauderdale. There are a few parking garages and parking lots within a reasonable walking distance. You can get ice cream, cookies, brownies, or ice cream sandwiches made from all of them. You can get various toppings around the edge of the ice cream in the sandwich if you so choose. One of my kids wanted just cookies and brownies. The other wanted an ice cream cone, and yep. You guessed it, I wanted an ice cream sandwich. Like most ice cream shops, they allow you to sample the ice cream. I got a Brown Sugar Ice Cream Sandwich, rolled in almonds, with chocolate chip cookies. It was messy, but really good. For extra measure, I had them warm the cookies. The cookies are gourmet cookies and are really good by themselves, as one of my littles could attest. They have a small dining area with a few tables for you to enjoy your treats. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. My kids and I really enjoyed our treats here, and I highly recommend checking this place out. read more

I've walked by this spot hundreds of times at Dania Pointe and finally decided to enjoy their delicious ice cream treats! It's fully customizable - you can pick from a variety of cookie and ice cream flavors! The also have seasonal flavors We loved the combo brownie-cookie sandwich: ours was a fudge brownie, chocolate chip cookie, and smores ice cream! These desserts are absurd in best, most ridiculous way. They are huge, delicious, and I couldn't even finish it. I hope my kids never find out this place exists or they will constantly be begging me to bring them here. read more

Fun novelty sweet treat. Cookie and brownie were dense, moist and very sweet. The blackberry crumble was a nice pairing because of the tartness of blackberries. I love the concept of customizeable ice cream sandwiches. It was nice to try something new! read more

The Baked Bear is an absolutely perfect stop for an afternoon snack! We got a ice cream cookie sandwich and it was absolutely to die for! It is pretty big, so my sister and I split one. You can chose different cookie flavors for the top and bottom cookie, as well as one flavor of Ice cream. We got the Caramel Pretzel Fudge ice cream and it was the perfect combination of sweet and salty! The huge cookie sandwich was also only $9, which I thought was super cheap for the size. read more
When my wife discovered the Baked Bear, we weren't really sure what we had just found. This was on top of just finishing a really great meal only slightly earlier at a wonderful sushi spot, and having way more than any of us could have possibly needed to eat while we were there. However, she nevertheless continued to look for dessert, and I believe that was because it was our older daughter's birthday, and lo and behold we ended up at this spot. After walking in the front door, I already knew that I was happy that we had found it and couldn't wait to try one of the endless potential combinations off their menu. This is not the dessert location for the faint of heart; these things are massive, and are very sweet and guaranteed to be very unhealthy. But that's the point! You get to choose from a huge list of their homemade ice cream, then choose the two homemade cookies to bookend your ice cream, and then you even get to choose toppings for the outside of the ice cream. It's actually absolute insanity, but in the best way possible. I was not able to finish mine in a sitting, but having nowhere to put it as we were staying in a hotel, I had to part ways with almost half of it, which felt like a waste. But a delicious waste. The staff was surprisingly friendly and ready-to-help especially considering that they were on the young side. This is something that I have come to expect frequently from ice cream and dessert places in general, so it wasn't a surprise. But what was, was that I was genuinely assisted and happy with the help that I received when it came to trying to figure out the product and what the differences between the plethora of options were. I am surprised that there are none of these in the Northeast. None that I have heard of anyway. Because this idea would be hugely successful, and I would definitely be going there frequently, especially when I want ice cream. Who doesn't want a custom chipwich, where the cookie and everything inside and outside is up to your choice? If you are anywhere near to one of their location, definitely check out the Baked Bear, and experience this crazy treat for yourself! read more

The Baked Bear is such a fun dessert spot, especially if you love customizing your treats. I built my own ice cream sandwich with a gooey cake batter cookie, a chocolate chip cookie, and cookies & cream ice cream--and it was next level. The cookies were soft, rich, and perfectly baked, and the ice cream was creamy and generous. Everything came together beautifully: warm, gooey cookies with cold, classic ice cream is always a win, and The Baked Bear absolutely delivers. We came for a free scoop day and the scoop was massive. One scoop is an entire cup filled. I got the bear batter and it was good, not overly sweet. Located in Dania Pointe, parking can be tricky, but there are spots up front or by the garage. The service was great, everything was nice and smooth, and the staff was friendly. First time at the baked bear in Dania pointe. The line was decently long around 6pm on Saturday but the two employees working there were fast and efficient. Lots of cookies, ice cream and toppings to choose from. I got the standard chocolate chip cookie with cookies and cream ice cream inside. It wasn't a bad deal for only 8.50. I didn't think the ice cream was that good and the cookie was pretty blah as well. I got it heated up but it wasn't really warm. The cookie sandwiches are huge and can easily be shared. My husband enjoyed his brownie & cookie sandwich. read more

Stopped by to an empty creamery on a Friday night, hopefully this place gets more traffic soon. Cookies made in house are displayed at the front followed by a tray of brownies, and then tubs of ice cream. They have a cookie of the month and you line up to build your ice cream sandwich. The staff was friendly and the space is inviting. The ice cream is smooth and the cookies are thin but tasty. Toppings adorn the back of the counters to really make your sandwich building unique. The brownie pan was warm however the brownie stuck to the bottom of the pan and was difficult to penetrate with the ice cream. The brownie was dry and harder than expected. Good ice cream and cookies. They also have cones and cups available but they are most known for their ice cream sandwiches. The kids enjoyed it and they enjoyed watching the making of cookies. Cute, fun and family friendly spot. read more
