Love Ben and Jerry's but I only visit this location when we have one scoop coupons. They usually give them out at midtown events. They only offer 2 scoops as the smallest ice cream you can order when just a kiddie scoop is perfect. I wish they would fix this and offer a kiddie or one scoop ice cream because I do love trying new Ben and Jerry's Ice creams when I'm in the area. The Tonight Dough: Back when I was a husky teenager my nightly ritual was to watch "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" while munching on a late night snack (which tended to be ice cream) in bed. The Tonight Dough ice cream is inspired by the contemporary version of my old favorite "news" show. Each pint is packed with caramel & chocolate ice creams with chocolate cookie swirls & gobs of chocolate chip cookie dough & peanut butter cookie dough. The chocolate cookie swirls are fantastic and make this similar to a cookies and cream ice cream. My pint had an abundance of superb cookie dough and peanut butter cookie dough gobs. There's just something about those sweet and gritty gobs that hit (and the peanut butter cookie dough is a game changer). This is easily the best "Cookie Dough" ice cream I've ever had. They now have about 20 flavors of the non-dairy variety pints. Yesterday I attended: TM* Ben & Jerry's Creamy Dreamy Tour- Tampa @ Midtown and I was able to try Strawberry cheesecake & Chocolate chip cookie dough. It's always a good day for Ice cream and they made it super special with their demo designed cloud-like entrance & decor. The employees were especially nice with passing out the selections & there were photo ops, stickers and take home items at the event as well. The Midtown location is a great spot to grab a scoop and enjoy the scenery. I stopped in after enjoying a wonderful dinner at Walk-ons and I will say the tables for seating all had leftover ice cream and weren't being cleaned regularly which I could understand because their was only two workers I saw and both were making ice cream treats for customers. I ended up getting a tonight's show milkshake and my son got the dirt cup which were both pretty good the consistency on the milkshake was perfect but just got overly sweet fast but still had good flavor. Came in here with the family for an evening treat. There is indoor and outdoor seating with tables. It was a nice breezy evening which made it nice to sit and enjoy the sweet treats. We were able to try some samples of the various flavors. I liked the strawberry marshmallow and berry berry extraordinary. Daughter was torn between the mint chocolate chance or the lemonade sorbet which she ended up getting the sorbet. Hubs got the butter pecan which we ended up sharing given it was so big. I ended up eating half of the cone and then the rest of my daughter's sorbet. I do have to say the lemonade was quite tart and after awhile of eating it becomes too much. And I'm a lemon lover! I think it'd probably be better mixing it with perhaps the berry sorbet to offset the tartness. Overall staff was friendly and patient with us as we sampled to make our selections. Good but a bit overpriced. Two scoops in a cone was $7 and some change. The ice cream was soft; not in a creamy way, but in a melted way. The cone was nothing special and had adhesive stuck to it from the paper wrapper. As for the store itself, it is a tight fit and feels a bit claustrophobic. I went during the afternoon after lunch and it was pretty full. After getting my cone I found one table available and it was covered in the sticky remnants of the last person's ice cream. read more

I know that Ben & Jerry's is a chain whose ice cream is available in grocery stores, but this location is just lovely, and the service was top notch. We went to Ben & Jerry's with the kids. Within a minute of receiving her half-scoop of chocolate ice cream with a cone on top, my daughter managed to drop the cone on the floor. Immediately, an employee was there to clean it up and offer a replacement cone. Later, as chocolate ice cream dripped down my daughter's arm onto the table and her dress, the same employee brought a warm and clean washcloth and a pile of napkins and sympathetic commiseration. I'm so sorry I didn't catch his name, because he's a gem. I've been a fan of Ben & Jerry's for decades. The flavors are fun, there are a ton of cone options, and the store locations are just great. This location is fantastic as it's walking distance from a number of different restaurants and stores, and there's plenty of free parking around. I love the new Ben & Jerry's at Midtown. The shop is small and cute with large floor to ceiling open walls with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking different areas of Midtown. The staff was very helpful and quick with making and taking orders. I asked which ice creama were gluten free and they were able to tell me quickly and it was about 10 different choices. One I noted and wanted to mention sounded delicious, the chocolate oatmeal ice cream and confirmed it was made with gluten free oatmeal. Thats wonderful! Obviously, it would be cheaper to buy ice cream at the store (you can also buy pints in this shop), but its way for fun to stop on after date night for a quick desert! We will be back! They have pretty good hours also it was after 9pm almost 10pm when we went and it was busy. There is plenty of parking that is free also. read more

This is owned by 3 friends, Antonio, Eric, and Phillip of Primo Partners. Antonio was once a scooper who worked his way up to manage a store. Now, he and his partners own TEN, more than any other Ben & Jerry's franchisee. They aren't stopping.... They've spread that wealth in so many ways including making an employee in one of their shops an owner! They have so many goals including highlighting diversity, equity, and inclusion, bringing more black business owner representation to the community, and helping to increase generational wealth for the black community.
