The Brisket Shoppe is known to have the best brisket in town. I arrived about 30 minutes before they opened and there were already people waiting in line. I knew the food be good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love that they have tents and complimentary water outside while you wait.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Once they opened, there were 2 kiosks available for you to place your order and a person to take orders for people with cash. Glad I had cash. I ordered the ribs, with cilantro lime coleslaw and baked beans. My order was ready shortly. Once I found a seat. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have ample seating outside and inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was delicious I wish I had enough room in my tummy to eat it all. It was definitely worth the wait and the hype. My ribs were tender. I tried the mango habanero sauce on the table and the cilantro lime coleslaw was refreshing and perfect to calm the heat of the sauce.

This place hit it out of the park. We arrive 15 min before opening and were in a line of about 50 ish people. They did have a cute juice van out front so we were hydrated. Got inside and placed our order. Beef rib special and the holy trinity with all the good stuff and 3 sides. (They were already out of some). And brisket bon bons omg you need these. Mac and cheese and brisket dirty rice and fries. Mac out of this world smoked and so cheesy and the rice was so good. All the meat super tender and brisket so fatty in best way. We did a wine tasting inside and I bought and drank a bottle there and took 2 home. Honey bubbles is good!!! Don't sleep on the nana pudding for dessert holy hell the crunchy stuff on top is a fave. We will be back for sure. Owner is great and made his rounds and gave us a tour. Love it!!

They have the meats! The barbecue is always top tier! The sides are not the standout as they get a little crazy with the vinegar. Each time I have been the owner and Walker have been super hospitable. Get there early because like any good barbecue place once it's gone that's it [[HIGHLIGHT]]As far as the ambiance goes, it gives Winchester mansion - a lot of additions that don't quite make sense.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] But get in where you fit in and get some great bbq

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking is a little tricky but usually not too difficult to get a spot. You can order in person or on a kiosk which is nice. The food comes out fresh and pretty quickly. The ribs are good the pulled pork is also great. Sides are all excellent. Pork buns are heavenly! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We love the different options for seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The sweet tea and lemonade are always yummy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The whole restaurant is always clean and tidy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The employees are so kind and helpful- which recommendations, helping you figure out how to order, get condiments, etc. Looking forward to trying the oxtail, soon!

Made it a point to stop at The Brisket Shoppe while in Tampa and it did not disappoint. This place had some of the best BBQ Food we've had in all of our travels. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The meals came out fast, hot, and fresh. And the flavor was incredible on every single thing ordered (and we ordered alot to try multiple things and have leftovers). [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had a great seating area outside as well as some indoor seating as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were great displays of meats and different items dry aging for you to see.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was also a huge wine room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

While on the hunt for a gala dress, I found this place on yelp. It's absolutely FIRE!!! The brisket is better than any Texas or North Carolina brisket. The sides are ELITE. Coleslaw is cilantro and lime and my favorite! They have tallow french fries which are flavor filled and they make their own ketchup. If all they sold was their banana pudding, that would keep me coming back! No banana pudding can compare! Everything is made in house! The jalapeno sausage is juicy and filled with flavor! You have got to go and try to this place! We gotta stop going to chain restaurants that buy processed foods and compromised foods in bulk to save money and go to mom n pop shops that show up and show out for their customers and they give us those delicious home cooked meals that make us feel good and we can support small businesses! Can't wait to go back! Absolutely 10/10 recommend!!

Woooozaa!!! Danny (the owner) has really put his heart and soul into the Brisket Shoppe because the food is soo good. His take on bbq is so unique because he offers other specials on the menu but you have to be on the look out for them. Pictured is a special...the oxtail. Look at the size!!!?! Juicy and tender but not offered often. If you get any of their classic plates, it's also delicious and flavorful. I like the unique touch of adding a "bon-bon" which is a bread roll stuffed with brisket to the plates. It's a cute spot to dine if you like being outdoors. I got introduced to the restaurant initially from a Yelp event and I have supported ever since as the food has been consistently good.

What a gem in Tampa! Who said you can't find great BBQ in Florida? I've had it in NC, TN, KC, and TX. Their product is on that top tier level as Franklin's BBQ. This is a must try if you love BBQ and even if you don't it will convert you

Absolutely incredible experience at The Brisket Shoppe in Tampa! From the moment we walked in, everything about this place impressed us, especially the food. I ordered the 2 meats, 2 sides plate and went with the Turkey and Wagyu Beef Brisket. Both were phenomenal. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender with that perfect char, and the turkey was juicy and full of flavor. For sides, I got the Mac n' Cheese and fries, and both were delicious. I could honestly eat the fries by themselves because of how salty and flavorful they were. They also surprised us with pickles, pickled onions, and a sweet meat roll, which were the perfect extras to round out the plate. And can we talk about the sauces? Incredible. You can tell everything is fresh and made with care, and you can really taste the difference. To top it off, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was beyond wonderful. He even gave us a tour of the place, which made the experience feel that much more personal and special. It's clear how much passion goes into everything they do here. I also ordered a mimosa, and let's just say it was strong and fabulous. No watered-down drinks here. I am already counting down the days until I can come back. If you are in Tampa and love great BBQ, you have to try The Brisket Shoppe. You won't be disappointed!

I swore I wrote a review about this joint but I guess I didn't. I'm not easily impressed by anything but what I love the most is a well ran operation and I've been here now 4x and it's the same amazing service and each time I see something different that makes me love this place even more. One Saturday I pulled up and there was a line outside the door maybe 5 people and they have a cooler outside with free water and free.....BEER man I couldn't believe the kind gesture free water whole you wait in this Tampa heat is one thing, but a ice cold brew smh amazing. Per usual the ordering process is a simple touchscreen which is easy to navigate and it's large enough for the older folks with bad vision to see. I love it and my man in the front of the house always is very helpful. I forget his name each time I come because I just want to call him Watson lol but he's cool. I guess is should mention the food by now right Man this food here is mouthwatering. I'll be honest I'm late to the brisket train just started eating it maybe 3 years ago. This place has the best I've ever had. Hands down the ribs are A+ My mom came in town and I took her and she loved it! I'll be back

This is The place for brisket! [[HIGHLIGHT]]And the store just keeps opening up to more space as you move around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you go you have to try the buns!! Take some home!!

A really generous amount of brisket on the sandwich!

I've always wanted to try The Brisket Shoppe and I finally had the opportunity and it was worth the drive! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Interesting location with many different rooms to enjoy your meal including outside covered patios.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You wait in line for your order. I understand with the notoriety of the quality of the offerings the lines can get pretty long but I was there at the end of lunchtime so the line was short and moved fast. The staff was friendly and very helpful! I had the brisket sandwich and it was excellent! The rub was flavorful on the juicy, tender and rich and flavorful wagyu beef used in this massive sandwich! It was accompanied by pickles and pickled onions that really complemented the sandwich as did the Brisket Shoppe's traditional bbq sauce. There were spicier options available as well. I paired the cowboy beans with it which helped balance my taste buds. Looking forward to coming back again!

The sausage was amazing. Unsweetened tea was good, as well as potato salad and beans. Cons: the ribs were very large, tender and had a great smoke flavor but that's it. They were pretty fatty, although still had a decent amount of meat. But there was no real flavor to the meat other than the "smoke". The brisket was tender also but flavorless. I tried both sauces. Both taste very ketchup based with the Hot just being super spicy. I mixed the sausage and brisket together to eat so it would help the brisket. The location is great and in walking distance in Ybor, from the trolly or locals. Little house like place with two tvs on. One playing sports while the other was playing some Jerry Springer style lame drama, and was plenty loud for us to hear. Overall, very disappointed. The Smoker was going and gave us high hopes but lack of flavor made for a very dull meal.

We are glad we did pick it up because the dirty dog was our favorite menu item and that was what was missing. My husband said the deconstructed rib sandwich was "ok". The Tampa 2 had so much potential, but the bread was soggy and the Mac and cheese really didn't have much flavor. My son did love his pulled pork sandwich and banana pudding. We're glad we tried it but would try something else next time.

I'm going to start with the positives: love to see a local black owned business! The customer service is always 10/10 and the prices are extremely reasonable for the portions and quality. The brisket was probably some of the best if not the best I've ever had. When I talk specifically about consistency, the food is sometimes heavily salted to the point of no return. Seasoned food and salty food- two different things. This batch of sides were too salty and not appetizing. The ribs were bland so it was hard to accept that the same person was seasoning the food. This family meal cost around $60 and we didn't want to leave the house again to get it corrected. I've had food here several times and it was great. It just didn't hit the mark this time.
