Don't go to the Pearlridge Ben Bridge. The staff needs to be trained better. I just went to pearlridge for a service on my engagement ring and wedding band. The three ladies took forever trying to look up my account even though I brought my Ben Bridge card that clearly had all the information on it including the sales date, my husband's name, purchase price, etc. It took so long and they looked unsure of themselves, I wanted to take my rings back and drive to the Ala Moana Location. I felt uneasy leaving my rings with them but I did against my better judgement. A couple of weeks later, I received a call that my rings were ready. I drove all the way there for them to give me my wedding band only. The engagement ring didn't come back yet. And again, it took forever for them to figure out what was happening. The local chick behind the counter finally stood up and graciously informed me of what happened and grabbed my wedding band and handed it to me. I am very patient and give most people a chance especially with the aunties. But scary!!!! I'm handing over a piece of me that holds sentiment, not to mention is worth thousands of dollars. Look. I don't speak a lick of Japanese. Well, maybe oishi and konichiwa... I know this place caters to the Japanese tourists as evidenced by the number of bilinguists on staff. I am a local boy, who, on most occasions, won't be confused for a fancy pants. But, I love my watches. So I walk in and have a look around. I try striking up a conversation and ask if they had a Sport models laying around. I.e. submariners or explorers... I already knew what he was gonna say, but he basically said "no" and continued to Windex the case tops. He barely even looked up at me. What a dick. I then asked if they would be able to swap dials from a Day Date I recently inherited from my dad. "No, this is a Rolex Boutique. We don't do things like that." I usually go to the Ala Moana location, but we were in Pearlridge for something else, so when my daughter and boyfriend wanted to look at wedding rings my husband and I suggested going to Ben Bridge. All four of us walked in and no one acknowledged us. I noticed one sales lady was helping someone and the other two sales people, a guy and woman, were helping the same person. I figure the two that was helping the one lady was experiencing a problem since I heard her say that something was wrong with their system, so all four of us continued to look at the wedding ring section. About 15 minutes later, so one even attempted to look our way or address us by saying the usual, "I'll be right with you." My daughter found a ring she was interested in seeing, so I tried to keep my husband calm, because he wanted to leave due to no one helping us. We hung around for five more minutes as I watch the two sales people closest to us, the lady and guy, go in and out from the back room. Finally, I agreed to leave when my husband told me to "not waste our time with them." As we started to walk out of the store, one sales lady that was helping another lady said something to us, but it was too little too late. I stated the obvious, "Now someone speaks to us as we walk out the store. Someone should have addressed us when we walked in. This store's customer service SUCKS!" This will be the last time I will ever go to this store! If I need to get my jewelry cleaned, I will go to the Ala Moana store instead. Thank you for the best service every time I come to clean my jewelry and buy new pieces. I just got a triple-layer, 2K diamond-laced anniversary ring and I'm uber in love with it. I think cubic zirconia is super tacky so thank you for not showing me any of these! I got my band resized to my little finger and it came sooner than promised :) Thank you for never trying to get me to spend more than I intend on spending. They work with you and your budget so when I tell them how much I'm willing (and not willing) to spend, they are respectful. Ben Bridge has always been a family favorite of my parents for the past 30+ years. My Dad would always go there to purchase special gifts for my Mom. Fast forward to the present, and my fiancé and I decided to stop by here since he wanted to "put a ring on it". We had already visited other jewelers in the mall: Kays, Zales, and Jared. We went into Ben Bridge and was helped by Macy. She was very helpful, but still came up empty. She informed us she could special order a stone when we told her what we wanted - cut, carat, color, clarity, and of course budget. A week later Macy called us in and showed us two stones and a possible halo setting. We loved it! We had found "the ring". During the 5 months with the ring, the setting was not up to par and I had to take it back 3 times due to a stone falling off the band. Luckily, we had purchased the care plan that guarantees replacement and labor for the lifetime of the piece. I'm sure you're wondering at this point, why I'm giving them 5 stars???? The reason is that each time I had to take it back for repair, it was no charge, no questions asked, and both Macy and Glenn provide excellent customer service!!!! This last time, we had decided to just go with a totally new setting. They gave full credit for the first setting, transferred over the care plan, and gave an additional discount on our new setting. The new setting would be a thicker band with BIGGER diamonds!! Aren't "diamonds a girl's best friend"???? Thank you Glenn and Macy!!!! Dropped off TAG diving watch end of August then store fronts closed due covid. Didn't know if my watch was in for battery & O-ring was being service during this time. When store ewopwn d in September I had to call to find out status & told another 2 weeks & they would So what you gonna do. Waited just over 2 weeks & called again. The gal said oh yah it's ready - we left you a msg (NOT!). Asked to verify cost - now $50 higher & no additional service was required to justify new rate. Shouldn't original quote rate be honored?? I went to at least 7 jewellery shops looking for my engagement ring. I wanted something unique not your standard raised diamond solitaire setting because I am very athletic and want to wear it 24/7. Ben Bridge had the friendliest staff that didn't make me feel inferior or wasting their time. More importantly I liked their designs they are more unique and affordable. My fiance got the lifetime warranty plan which wasn't very expensive and you get free cleanings anytime you want and they want you to bring it in for check-ups twice a year. He financed the ring no interest for one year it was very affordable. They have an upgrade program I haven't used yet. We finally came back to get a ring. Our price point changed so we started looking at rings from scratch. Back to the beginning. Still, the sales people were super friendly, patient (I must have made her pull out at least 15 rings!), and accommodating. They have their own financing department, too, so it was super easy and fast to get what we wanted and know how much we had to spend. After finding two rings I liked, we decided to walk around so I could think about it and so they could look into how much credit they would allow. The sales people here must love me. Ive been there several times to purchase Pandora Charms for my wife and gifts for wifes friends and its the easiest sale they have ever done. I usually already know what we get so as soon as we walk in, I just say, "I need this, this, and this" and its done! How much easier can that get? I didn't purchase jewelry here, but my ring insurance (Jewelers Mutual) allows me to get my ring repaired/cleaned through them. In the past three years I've taken my ring in to get small side diamonds replaced twice and every time the repair is done in less than two weeks and I get a brand new looking ring back: diamonds replaced, settings tightened, rhodium dipped, clean and shiny! Strollin through the mall, I thought I'd stop by to check out the merchandise. My 1st lap of surveillance provided eye candy of all types--rings, necklaces, bracelets, watches. He shared that didn't matter if I were purchasing it for myself or if I came in w/someone to buy it for me. Most people prefer gift wrap. Why you'd wanna unwrap something when you know what's inside is odd...but it's all good. He informed me that BB has a lifetime guarantee on its merchandise, as long as I bring my item back to the store every 6 months for inspection. When I went to get the watch sized Mark remembered them, but never let it slip that they bought something else for me. Christmas came and I was shocked to see another BB box. Shocked and happy, I love surprises! The watch sizing was a great experience, he worked to get it just right and offered me Starbuck's coffee while I waited. I like the variety of jewelry, some more modern and simple than other traditional stores. I went to Ben Bridge in Pearlridge because I usually shop at Ben Bridge Ala Moana, but was recently intentionally overcharged by the asst manager there. I suppose I may have been dressed down, in shorts, tank top and slippers, hair up in a pony tail. I get no assistance at first, but finally an older woman walks over and asks what i was looking for. Her name is Gayle. I tell her that I am looking for a diamond band to wear with my wedding ring. I find one with no help from her, and ask to try it on next to my ring (which i also got from Ben Bridge). She reluctantly opens the glass case and hands it to me. Each time I asked to see a ring, she seemed like she did not want to show it to me! Anyway, she tells me that she can find out how much to make one in yellow gold (they only had it in white gold for sale). So she takes my name and number and tells me she doesn't even know how long it will take to get a quote "all depends on how long they take to get back to me". So, i leave, walk out, and then decide maybe I will purchase that one to take home and show it to my wife before I wait "who knows how long" to even find out how much it will cost. I go back and ask another girl for help. While the girl is about to ring me up, Gayle comes over and tells me in her bitchy voice, "you know you can't return it if you wear it". I say it's fine, I just want to show it to my wife to see if she likes it too. I say your return policy right here says that I have xx days to return it, I'll return it right away when we decide. She says "NO, if it gets damaged, or if you wear it, you won't be able to return it, I'm just trying to help you out here". UH REALLY?? ARE YOU?? She wasn't even helping me at that point, I was someone else's customer. I told her that she gave me the WORST service I have ever gotten from Ben Bridge! I will DEFINITELY NOT be buying anything else from this store, EVER! I am just disgusted that I have so many pieces of jewelry from this store that needs inspecting twice a year! Crap! If not, I would never even step foot in here again! I don't know if she thought I couldn't afford it, or if she didn't like me being gay! But WTF!!!
