Moves are difficult enough without the movers being a problem, too, so Just Solutions gets my highest marks considering they made the move so easy, really a piece of cake. And we had a bunch of stairs both coming and going. When an issue did arise, it was handled quickly and easily. This is a can-do bunch! Hire them; you'll be glad you did.

I did not receive a call back until July 7th. When I spoke with them on the 7th they made an appointment with me to come out on the morning of July 9th to evaluate what needed to be packed and moved. They didn't show up and didn't call me to let me know they were not coming. I called them the next day to see what happened and left them a voice message because no one answered. Today is the 14th and I still haven't heard a thing from them. They may be great movers of your belongings IF they call you back and IF they show up to their appointments. It is the summer and I understand they are very busy but all they needed to do on the 7th when I spoke with them is to tell me that they are scheduled to capacity and could not take on any more clients. Taking on more than you can handle and then failing to meet modest expectations is not a great business strategy.

They did everything they said they would do, got the stuff here with breaking anything and were just a pleasure to work with. Calm, cool, collected and very, very professional. The main guy arrived late and the new guy stood around not knowing what to do. The one guy was new, so I get that he did not know what to do, however, the other guy said that he has been with the company for a while. However, we did not know that they would take twice as long and that this would be a training session. We offered to help to make things go faster, however, he said that he did not want us in his way. Very disrespectful. I had antique furniture and explained that to them but the one guy who had been with the company longer, dismissed me and while I am standing right there, he tells the "newbie" to ignore what the customer says and that you just need to pack the truck. When they finally got done, they charged up an extra $450 for the "overage" of time. I told him that was not our fault that you were taking longer because you had to train someone. However, he did not care and told them (the office) to charge our card. We also kept telling them that they needed to hurry up as the other crew that is unloading will be waiting. Well when we finally got going and the other crew was waiting for us so that they could unload, we found several things damaged. I had a box that said "Fragile" was shoved into spots that it should not have been. Precious items that I have had for over 20 years, broken and destroyed. Items that were my late mothers, gone and I can't replace those memories. So, it did not matter if it says fragile. Our kitchen table scrapped/scratched and chunks of it gone. I am not sure what they were doing, but we had to be a new table as this one was destroyed. Even though this crew was better and more respectful, when they were moving things into the home, they hit the walls and put gauges in the wall. So, now we had to repair the wall. They also allowed us to help unload the truck too. My antique furniture broken and can't be repaired, fragile items crushed and irreplaceable. So many items are broken due to the carelessness and disregard. I am devastated! We reached out to the owner and nothing. So, do not ever use this company!!!

I have moved at least a dozen times in my life and this has by far been the worst experience and…read morebiggest nightmare of my life. Hired Proud American for a long distance move (Boston to San Diego)and they brokered out my move to unreliable movers that are impossible to work with. On Trak Movers picked up in an unmarked truck, and charged me an extra $400 to move my couch down 4 flights of stairs. This was after I refused to pay $800 (first lie). This company held my stuff for a week and then handed it off to another company MMG Moving without my knowledge or consent. I was told they would give me 48 hours notice prior to delivery. MMG called less than 24 hours prior and told me when they were coming, refusing to work with me on a date/time. I told Proud American and On Trak movers (multiple times) that my building requires a reservation in advance to reserve the loading dock (as do all buildings in San Diego or any city in this country-standard!) Jeremy from MMG refused to agree on a time the loading dock was available and said if you can't do 9am today too bad then we are forced to move your stuff into storage and can't give you a delivery date. I called the MMG office and spoke with a woman that confirmed delivery on June 15th at 3pm. The following day they called and refused delivery and apparently moved my stuff into storage. It's now 21 days later I do not have my stuff or a delivery date. No one will return my calls or confirm a delivery date. This company MMG is impossible to work with and Proud American has accepted no responsibility. Jeremy at MMG is absolutely impossible to work with and has no interest in helping get my things delivered. Tori Brooks at Proud American is the person I originally spoke to and she has done nothing but lie every step of the way, nor will she send me a copy of the contract that I have asked for 3 times. Ava the dispatch manager my case was escalated to told me she would take care of it and she is no longer answering my calls. No response in the past 24 hours. I have spoken to all 3 companies and no one is willing to help me or taking responsibility to get my things delivered. Absolute nightmare. I have asked for a copy of my contract 3 times and they refuse to send it to me. Close to $10k later I am forced to hire a lawyer to get my stuff. I have also filed complaints with BBB and FMCSA. RUN as far away from this company as you can. You have been warned.

We all have these moments of insanity where the cheap ass inside of us thinks we can save money by doing something ourselves. Don't lie - you know that feeling. Just accept it. We all do it. So I thought to myself "Self, you can rent a truck and carry furniture into the truck to drive across town to the consignment shop." Either my "self" was heavily medicated or insane because when you think about it - it's stupid. I just got out of the hospital and I really considered this. I came to my senses and used the handy dandy Yelp quote request to seek local business who could help me with my moving project. "The early bird catches the worm" rings true here. We live in a time where instant gratification is a major decision influencer so naturally the first businesses to respond immediately get taken seriously. Cross Town movers responded quickly, had the best price, professional demeanor, and I got the sense they were going to make my furniture move an easy one. I like easy. Easy makes me happy. I'm still recovering from the hospital. 2 clean cut uniformed men came to my house ready to work! In fact, they were a little early which was great. They carefully wrapped breakables/glass and strategically loaded the truck to ensure my furniture would be unharmed. Once everything was out of my house they took it to the consignment shop. My husband got a phone call when they arrived there and when they finished unloading. 2 hard working, professional, friendly men helped me. I trusted them in my home with my furniture. I didn't feel the need to follow behind them to the consignment shop to watch them unload because the time they spent in my home earned my trust. Good people can do that. It was worth every penny I paid. Don't be crazy - leave the heavy lifting to the professionals. Literally. Cross Town Movers is a such wonderful asset to my other home community in Bend, Oregon. We scheduled the date and time for the work, agreed on the contract price, and Kellen showed up as scheduled and prepared to do the work of moving a couple of chairs from our house here to the house in Bend, placing them in the great room there and moving the existing oversized chairs down a steep stairway to daylight basement storage. Kellen is delightful to work with and did a careful and professional job. I'll add in that my husband was astounded that for the oversized chairs in the Bend house, Kellen could carry them unassisted down the steep cement staircase to the basement without even a wobble. Hood, and then we connected with the best, most professional and courteous, meticulous Bend Brothers Moving to help us unload. Cody and Jesse were awesome. I would literally hire these two guys on every future move of my life. There is a reason this company is voted "Best in Bend." They carefully laid out protective barriers on the floors, doors and walls. They were friendly, respectful of our worldly possessions, and kept insisting they would stay and move boxes and furniture anywhere in the house (even though our only goal was to get everything unloaded from the truck and inside in a pile).
