Today, we had the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and a strawberry smoothie - both were delicious! The staff at the store and working the cart are super nice and welcoming. Some of our car club drove out to have dinner this evening and there was plenty of safe parking and the staff was extra attentive and even gave our group some cool souvenirs. We love love love the donuts that the store sells also. (We often drive through Alfalfa on our way to Bend, just to get a donut). If you see that the case doesn't have the one you want, just ask - they always have more in the back! Their fresh coffee was an added bonus with that scrumptious donut, by the way. The only thing I'm bummed about is that I WISH I WOULD HAVE FOUND THIS PLACE A LONG TIME AGO

There is a decent selection of products and the beverage section received a nice expansion in 2015. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. One word of caution: watch out for the ATM machine! It shows that the transaction will cost a $2 service fee -- but upon checking your statement, you will find that you actually paid $4 (or even $5) for the transaction. They will refund your money if you ask, but that might not be an option for those just traveling through.

Lots of folks want self-service; but it puts people out of work, and it's a real problem for older…read morefolks, people with arthritis and so forth. Once they are able to push a state to all-self-service, you won't pay any less (if you even get a discount now). This will not benefit you in any way, and it will hurt you or your community. More people on welfare and public assistance, or more homeless. We pulled up to full-service, and no one came to fill us up, even when we pressed that button. We never had a problem with full service until Oregon allowed self-service. Maybe management is telling staff not to assist people unless they come in to the gas station; or maybe they're just not hiring adequate staff now. Who knows. But the only way to keep these jobs in our community and make sure people who want service, get service, is to refuse to use self-service. This goes for self-checking at stores. Companies make record profits now, and they sure don't return their cost savings to us. Better yet, change the law back.

We got a mango peach smoothie, which was good and tasted like real peach. And I got an iced salted caramel latte which didn't have much saltiness to it at all, wasn't very creamy (I would have thought I had almond milk), and the espresso didn't stand out at all - tasted mostly sweet. So definitely somewhere for people that like their coffee to taste more sweet than like coffee! They had a nice little selection of food, from donuts and a yogurt parfait to breakfast burritos and sandwiches. I tried a sausage breakfast sandwich; the sausage and egg were good and they use the super artificial american cheese (that i'm guilty of enjoying specifically on breakfast sandwiches). Katie made a complicated cross-country move to Tennessee a lot easier--helped me pick the right equipment, pointed me to a great moving crew that packed everything well, and sorted out a last-minute trailer without any stress. She also made sure everything was lined up correctly for my destination. Really solid customer service from start to finish. Would absolutely recommend her and that location.
