Posted about my experience on social media without bashing them.. only asking others about their experience and sharing parts of my story. Several came forward with similar stories about high quotes for work that didn't actually need to be done. Then the owner and an employee starting commenting on my post lying... "they ever saw me." The employee even said he would never take a bank card because that would hurt his reputation.. oh and not because it's immoral? They may do honest work for their friends but IMO one or more mechanic at this location is not shy to try and scam who they can. Think about it... if you go along with their story of what needs to be fixed and the work starts, you can't protect/heLo yourself later/realize that wasn't the actual part that needed to be replaced... they do whatever they want. Always get a second opinion. They tried to get me because I came in naive and saying I had no clue about cars. Thank god my bf knew better when I called him crying.
