Lucy did a fabulous job on my eyebrows! I had been going to the same gal who has been doing my eyebrows for years. She went out of town and I needed someone to do my brows before I went on a work trip. I was weary at first, but Lucy really did an amazing job. Michelle is a GODSEND! I went into Ulta looking like Frida Kahlo and *thankfully* Michelle had an open spot to fill before her next client. I explained how I just couldn't find someone who could get the right shape for my brow (or any shape really) and that I wanted a natural look as opposed to being permanently surprised. She laughed and assured me that she would fix everything up. That was an understatement. My brows are now absolute perfection. I can't stop staring at them. After she tweezed (wax irritates my skin) and trimmed them, she filled them in with the Benefit products, not once pushing me to buy anything. The best part of the whole experience was the great conversation we had while she was reconstructing my face. Michelle was so nice and hilarious and I could have sat there all day chatting. I'm so glad that I took a chance and switched up my brow routine! Michelle is definitely my new go-to-girl now that I have fabulous brows that need maintaining. read more

By far best service I have received in a very long time. Mercedes was the beauty expert the assisted myself and my mom. For many years now we have had our eyebrows waxed or threaded and just never thrilled with the outcomes. Recently I decided we should try Ulta's Brow Bar since I am a very happy Ulta customer. I'm very sad to have to write this, but I have too. I got my brows done at the brow bar earlier this week, after months and months of growing my eyebrows out I had them ruin at this location. Even though Lauren D. Was extremely nice, she WRECKED my eyebrows. I went for a tint and a wax. And honestly I just wanted them shaped up. She did a perfect tint, exact shade I wanted. But then she proceed to wax my eyebrow before asking me how I wanted them or anything. One of my eyebrows is completely straight, while the other one has an arch. I had to come home and tweeze them to try and fix them up. I have to put makeup on now to hide my embarrassment, so honestly what was the point of my tint?! It saddens me but I will not be returning to this Ulta brow bar again. Horrible experience and not I have horrible brows. read more

Awful experience at the brow bar today - I arrived at my appointment today ready to select a brow shade, only to learn that there are only 4 colors to choose from, starting with medium brown and getting progressively darker. The woman who had scheduled my appointment promised that there would be a vast selection of colors after I had explained that I have light blonde brows. Additionally, the stylist could not produce any pictures or describe to me what she thought the dye would look like on me. She basically asked if I wanted to take a gamble on the medium brown color or not! I ended up walking away without the service, but just wanted to warn anyone with lighter brows that this may not be the place for you - just skip it and go to someone more professional where they have more than four color options! read more

I'm extremely disappointed with my eyebrows. This was my first time ever getting them done at Ulta let alone even tinted. The woman who did my eyebrow was Lydia. She was a sweet heart, but I walked away paying for a service that I'm completely Unhappy with. I stated to Lydia that this was my first time ever getting them tinted before she even got started. She asked me a few question about the color I wanted and tone. I told her that I wouldn't mind them a bit darker then what they are now. She said ok. I feel like she didn't even leave the product on my eyes for 1 minute before she wiped it off, but what do I know since this is a first for me. She then began to wax my eyebrows. She gave me the mirror after she was done. I told her that I liked how they were groomed but I wasn't happy with the tint. It doesn't look any different especially on the sides where my hair is scarce. I asked her if she could tint them again. She said since she waxed my brows, she wouldn't recommend it because my skin is now a bit more sensitive. I appreciate her looking out for that but if that's the case, she should've asked me if I was happy with the color before waxing since again, this was a first for me. $40 down the drain and I still need my eyebrow pencil. read more

I used to go to the Brow Bar at Ulta at Glade Parks in Euless, Texas and had wonderful service with Erika. Something happened and they shut down the brow bar at Glade Parks--a brand new mall I might add so not off to a good start! They called and left me a message to try the Ulta in Southlake, TX or Hurst, TX. I called Southlake and they didn't have a brow bar, just waxing service in the salon with no brow mapping, so I called Hurst. Yes, they did mapping, yes they did tinting and waxing so I made an appointment. It was with Autumn and she was HORRIBLE. Nice girl, but did not map my brows as Erika had and it was OBVIOUS that I had fuller brows and I even told her that Erika had worked with me for over a year to get away from those razor thin brows that everyone else does! What does Autumn do with her "cleanup"--OH MY GOD--did I have SQUARE ends on my brows when I came in (no but her manager does)? Did I not say that she needed to do a reddish-brown tint to match my hair--they are very dark brown now??? Did I not have a beautiful arch and longer brows that framed my eyes when I came in because arch mapping has been done every single time before??? I will never go back to this unprofessional person--she did ask if I wanted her to speak to her manager so the service would be no charge--this is after she finally hands me a mirror to show me her wreckage--why what are you going to do glue it all back on? I said no, I wouldn't be back and couldn't get out of there fast enough! I always always tip and never give anyone a bad rating--Autumn got no tip and a one star at Ulta and now a bad review!!!! read more

I just got finished at the brow bar and I loved it. I sat with Michelle and she was great. I told her about how I've been bouncing around salons trying to find someone who listens to me and doesn't butcher my brows. I also have a problem with my skin tearing...which is not something one strives for when getting hair yanked off your face. Well, I'm glad to say I know have a brow girl. She makes you feel so comfortable and is really professional. My brows look great and all my skin is intact; what more could you want? The price is actually slightly less and while they do accept credit cards for service payment, you CANNOT put the gratuity on a card so make sure you bring CASH! Her hours are still generous and everyone is really friendly! So happy I found her because I was VERY disappointed at the thought of not having Abria do my brows!!!
