I did look at previous reviews on Yelp and I do agree that Laila does a great job! I called on Tuesday night and she got back to me the next morning via text to schedule an appointment for the following day. Her place is not hard to find, on the 2nd floor above Starbucks in Legacy Village. Parking meters not expensive- I just put a quarter in for 30 minutes. Upon arriving, Laila greeted me and was very nice. She asked if I had had threading before or if it was my first time and I explained that I have been threading for 2 years now. She had me lay down on her table and I explained that I wanted my eye brows kind of thin but since my eye brows are kind of straight I wanted a small arch towards the tail end. She worked very quick and paid attention to plucking the stray hairs. After she was done she showed me a mirror to look and if i wanted any changes she could do it as well. I am very happy about the threading and how my eyes turned out. Just for this one session it was $27. Granted it is waaaayyy more expensive than what I'm use to (I paid $7 + $3 tip in Houston) I would recommend Laila's business to any lady who's interested in getting threaded.

I'd voice my concern over concern such as hair texture as they claim I did not pick the texture which I did. Remind, you my Consultation was a month ago so I ask several times to send me the textures via text. She repeatedly ignore my questions and kept asking for a color. To me it doesn't make sense to talk about hair color if the salon doesn't have texture length ect down. I voice the concern of the hair being able to straighten as I do get silk presses. It seem like every question I ask she was getting irritated and never gave me a straight answer. I called spoke to her, ask if they could please send photo or explain the difference with the blow outs. Then again she was rude and told me I had til tomorrow to figure it out or they move appt. She eventually did send pictures but by that time, i was on the phone with her again explaining my concerns. She also sent a text asking for more money. At consultation I paid deposit a less then 300, which is what erica told me i only needed to pay until day of appointment services. Why am i being ask to pay more money ? That seemed odd, and apparently seem a little fishy as the salon hasnt answer my concern but steady asking for more money. Very unprofessional. Now, total services were close to $1,000. This isn't a light decision to make as I wanted a versatile texture but also something that matches my hair style in it natural state. She told me to just at the different stylist Instagram to figure it out. I sent her a pic and ask what texture was in pic. I got a text saying we don't feel comfortable doing your hair. Although they claim they will issue a full refund on the deposit, which I have not received yet. I now have to find a new salon, which is frustrating. I called Brittany back and spoke to her again about my concern as I want to make sure we aren't coloring the incorrect texture of hair. I had up to the point a good experience with the owner and erica at my consultation, however Brittany is the manager and she was very rude and cold. I ask to speak to the owner, and she told me the owner and her made the decision not to service me because this salon isn't the best fit for me. There are several issues here as for one, this salon is owned by a black woman. Which is one of the reason i picked. I try to support our local business owners of ethnic backgrounds.However, most of their service needs and clientele are caterer to whites or non blacks. They do have a few black customers, but not many. I felt like because I'm black and I have ethnic hair, which requires more fineness, it seems like she ( Brittany) just didn't want to deal with my hair or texture concerns. I didn't know asking questions would make the manager Brittany very irritated. It also offended me telling me that im not a good fit for their salon. WOW, that speaks volumes.I believe if I would have spoke to asia or my stylist, the communication would have been better. However, if the owner did really feel that way then maybe ethnic or blacks need to go here if they feel we are not a good fit. Will post the texts. Im also posting this on my fb and Instagram so other others can be aware. I hope no one goes through this experience again.

I let her know I want to be her company, I am a business owner myself when it comes to my client I would take it out of my business account and whatever third-party or system that she uses, she should have dealt with them on their own not me needing to wait at that point I had no choice because she gave me no other options She said I finally put a review on my social media Instagram, which I also have proof of at that point she goes into my DM's threatening me to sue me get attorneys involved and she also told me I'm not getting my money. Well take that back first she said it was going to be six weeks. She never told me six weeks until now, so two weeks six weeks by the end of that conversation when I said the review is based off of my experience that I had with you and your company I have every right to express she then told me now I'm not getting anything. I also have those screenshots overall it was her because I considered her a friend, this wasn't $100 job. This was $650.
