I needed to get my eyebrows touched up before returning home to Atlanta and this place came up as recommended. Upon arrival, it is in a plaza and if you are coming from the 271 direction, it will be on the other side of the plaza. I was able to find a parking place in the lot right in front of the store front. When I walked in the rep at the desk was kind of dry and informed me there was an opening in 20 minutes. This allowed time for my mom and I to go pick up some fast food from across the street. Once time, I walked back in and was instantly worked on. My brows looked great and was done quickly. Came to Abier's brow lounge on a Tuesday late morning as a walk in with my cousin and we were seen in about 30 minutes due to scheduled appointments, but it didn't feel too long! My cousin and I were taken care of by Hadiyah who was so sweet, warm, and welcoming! She did a great job on my eyebrows which is more on the thicker side and she checked in with me to make sure I was content with the amount threaded off! Since my review on Google is unable to be seen by the public and Facebook only allows me to say "I recommend" the company, I thought I would try to leave a review here. Just because so many other people have positive things to say about this place does not mean that my negative experience should be hidden. I've also attached a screenshot of my bank statement that shows that I made a payment to Abier's Lounge. So, I was a real customer and my review is honest and real. I'm just going to copy and paste what I was hoping would be visible on Google below. The customer service over the phone is genuinely friendly. However, I was not informed that you could not use a card to make a payment for one service and one service only beforehand. Example: if you are only getting your brows threaded then they want you to add an additional service to get the total over $20. From what the brow tech told me I think it's because if it's not over $20 then they get charged a $3.00 fee. I'm sorry, but whose fault is that? Since it was my first time they let it "slide" but how are you letting me slide when it's not my slip up? It's not my fault that I was not informed prior to arriving. The staff had two opportunities to tell me about their policy over the phone if it was going to be an issue. It was so much of a problem initially to the point where the brow tech I scheduled with said,"Let's see if you have anymore hair on your face so that we can get you up to $20." She then said,"Oh, you don't have any more hair on your face" and then said,"Actually, you do have some upper lip hair." I don't have any more upper lip hair on my face than the average woman. I don't have a mustache and if my upper lip hair was that bad I would go to a dermatologist before I would go to a brow tech to wax it off. I told her I was getting my brows done because I was getting my makeup done the next day and then she said something along the lines of,"Well, if your lip hair peaks through your makeup don't say I didn't warn you." What in the world! I can NOT believe she said that. It was extremely rude. All of this shade because she didn't tell me over the phone that I needed to schedule for two services so that they don't get charged a $3.00 fee??? Keep reading it gets better. She then precedes to say,"Well like my Momma says, if you like I love it" and then she unnecessarily touched my shoulder. Sigh. Again!!! All of this shade for what?? I've had my brows done all across the country and this is the only place where I've been disrespected. The lounge is lovely but I'll never come back and I'll be sure to tell my family and friends not to patronize this place. Even though I played it off as best as I could by finding a way to joke and laugh about it with the brow tech I felt very uncomfortable. I wanted to get up and leave before she got started but I didn't want to cause a scene of sorts and have the staff accuse me of whatever they may have tried to accuse me of for wanting to leave because their employee was rude. I just didn't want to be in a position where I had to defend myself against a place that was already a bit disgruntled because it takes money to make money. Besides, I needed my brows done and wouldn't have been able to find another place to schedule with. Beggars can't be choosers so I just decided grin and bare it. Never again. Microblade my very blonde, where are they, eyebrows. I was actually very nervous since I didn't know anyone who had this done. And I know that the current style is heavier and darker than I like. A feeling of welcome and confidence meet me when I walked in. Refreshing. Abie explained the process and told me what I could expect. I agreed to continue with the initial consultation. I was tired of drawing my brows and without brows I look very tired and sort of non-existent. Abie made sure that she knew what I wanted in the way of brow shape as well as depth of color. She drew my brows and adjusted them until I was satisfied with the position and shape. In the meantime, she had mixed some of the brow colors for me to choose and sampled them on the back of her hand. I chose to be fairly understated since I can always make my brows heavier or darker. My appointment to have the 1st microblading session was a week or 2 later. My brows were a little dark at first while they were healing but the color softened up beautifully, just like Abie said would happen. VERY happy with my choice as is everyone who witnessed the before and after at Abie's. People whom I hadn't seen in a little bit said my new glasses looked great... No, these glasses are 3 years old. Lots of compliments and closer looks at what appears to be individual brow hairs. Thank you for your expertise and artistry and family feel of your salon. I am a natural blonde with extremely light eyebrows. I have been so sick of coloring them using in a pencil. I found Abier's on Yelp and was happy they offered app scheduling via Vagaro - it makes life so much easier. I was able to schedule with the owner Abier (Abby) and was so excited! I had heard of eyebrow tinting but was always hesitant to try. Tinting is a semi-permanent process to enhance, shape, and define your brows that lasts about 2 weeks.The tinting cost is only $15, which I thought was a great price for someone new to the eyebrow world. Abier's is a super cute space in Woodmere with a lux vibe of giant mirrors, mini-chandeliers and comfy couches. My Mom and I were running errands and she was able to lounge on the couch while my eyebrows were done. The session took only about 20 minutes. I was amazed! Abby is so professional, skilled and inviting. I felt so confident during the process and am so thrilled with the results. I like that it only lasts about 2 weeks, which will definitely give me enough time to know if this is for me. I feel dumb I didn't start doing this sooner (goodbye eyebrow pencils). Next stop, microblading, which should last for over a year. God, I can't wait to start using less makeup on my brows. I will absolutely be back! read more

She did such an amazing job and I love that she threads your brows according to your brow bone shape so that it fits your face as opposed to following the most popular trends which don't always look the best. Prior to booking my first appointment here I had done a lot of research and read many reviews about local places in the area to get a lash lift/tint and brow thread/tint at. I wanted to do something special for myself. I had read many good reviews about this place and even though I was nervous about trying something new I decided from such good reviews that it would've been a good place to start at. I not only wish I never went here, but also wish I never got a lash lift/tint and brow thread/tint. I'd never had threading done before and before I knew it she was finished in what felt like seconds. I had a cut under my eyebrow that was bleeding and she trimmed so much of my eyebrows off with scissors, so now I'm left with weird and random hairs growing back and sticking out. The tint looked okay, but not that great. I was told it would last for 7-10 days. It barely lasted 2 days. The aftermath of my lash lift and tint was traumatizing enough. My eyelashes looked completely different on each eye. My right eye was so over crimped up it was touching my lower eyebrow and the left eye didn't even look like it had anything done to it. I was so humiliated about how my eyelashes looked. I'm thankful these people didn't permanently ruin my eyelashes by making them patchy or fall out, but my eyelashes are still trying to recover from this 2 months later now and I don't know if they ever will be like they used to and that is so disappointing. I can't even put mascara on them anymore. My lashes on my right eye are almost spilt into two different directions and look horrible when I try to put mascara on. I wish I never went to this place and I just left myself alone. This was such a huge confidence crusher and a major waste of time and money. I'm not sure where all of these good reviews come from, but I was left so upset and disappointed and don't really trust anyone touching my lashes or brows again now. I'm glad to read other people have had good experiences here and I'm truly sad that mine was far from that. The women here are very welcoming and lightning quick they created two very well defined eyebrows from the single, amorphous caterpillar I walked in with. This is my new threading place and I am so happy to have found it. I made the initial appointment via their website which was very easy. They send you reminders as the appointment approaches. I arrived a couple minutes early and they tell you to wait outside until they text to inform you to come inside. Place was clean and newly sanitized. They wear a mask the entire time and hold the mirror for you to limit transmission. They will also spray rose water on your face post threading which feels amazing and smells delicious! I was given a 3:15 appointment. I walked in at 3:15. I was asked if I received a text to enter. I replied that I was not told that I needed a text to enter. At the same time I noticed a 'cash only' sign and remarked that I was not told 'cash only' either so I will go back to my car. At 3:30 I called them and kindly asked for permission to enter for my 3:15 appointment. I was given the ok. I entered. All chairs were in use with people who walked in after me. I guess everybody had a 3:15 appointment??? I identified myself to the desk person and was told to take a seat on the sofa. I was never told which one was the person I was scheduled with or offered any explanation as to why she is poccupied with someone else at my appointment time. I waited until 3:40. I should have been done by then. I walked out. I was called at 3:48 and told that I may enter for my 3:15 appointment. I WAS SITTING RIGHT THERE, NEVER ACKNOWLEDGED! I was asked for my phone number twice when I made my appointment and I stated that I had not been there before. Bad first impression. Won't be back. I got my eyebrows threaded by the owner and she did a good job on them, not the best, but good. Although it was good, I was expecting so much more just based off of her conversation. I mean she went on and on about how good she is, how she used to work in the mall and taught all of the women that work there, how she was asked to teach her class while she was in school getting her license because of how good she already was, and how she learned nothing while in school. It's great to be confident, but sometimes doing a good job and keeping your mouth shut is all the confidence you need. Maybe some people love to hear that type of stuff, but I don't! I'm giving 3 stars because although the eyebrows are good enough for an extra star, my main reason for going is that I've been looking for a place in Cleveland that did eyebrow tinting for a while now. I found this place on IG and after she shaped my brows, she tinted them and I didn't like it at all. I've had my eyebrows tinted plenty of times in the past and this was the first time that I was disappointed.
