For context, the first girl that waxed my brows to perfection was at Ulta in Upland and she was trained by Benefit. I followed her to two different establishments but then she got promoted and couldn't take clients. I decided to book an appointment at Benefit in Rancho and selected any available waxer. She was on time and went to work right away. I was in and out of the chair within 15 minutes and asked her to keep the thickness of my brows but to please clean them up. She did it perfectly. If you've never gotten your brows waxed at Benefit I highly recommend it. They map your face out and it comes out symmetrical and perfect every time. read more

Exterior = 5/5 Located in the Macy's, it's super convenient since the parking has many spaces and it's a nice big space. Then you can shop before you wax since no one likes walking around with a red face (at least I don't) Interior = 5/5 Easy to notice since it's super pink in the corner of the entrance to Macy's that connects to the mall. There are chairs in the actual Benefit area, so you can try on make up and sit down. There are also chairs along the wall where people sit to get the many services that Benefits offers. Service = 5/5 I make appointments since I don't like waiting and risking the walk in since they get busy. Aside from that they are really quick with their service an Dara, my go to, is super friendly. She always chats it up with me so I don't feel awkward or just shy (since I am). She also is super considerate of my needs. For example, I have really sensitive skin so the aloe vera or cooling gel, as well as the oil after the treatment breaks me out - she remembers not to put it on. Which for me speaks to me since I'm sure she has a bunch of clients, but it's great she remembers me. Order = 5/5 I usually come get my brows waxed here - super easy and quick. Then I shop for my eyebrow and primer needs. They have a bunch of good bundles that you can try if you are new to their products. Overall = 5/5 I have been coming for my brow services here for years (and I mean years). There is a reason why! I'm not really sure the rating to give my experience. So let me break it down just for a second. The lady that waxed my brows was very friendly, kind, and humorous. She was pleasant and nice to speak to. I felt overall she handled me with care and I appreciated that as a customer. I suppose the two star rating is more a reflection of my experiences afterwards. After my waxing, I experienced a great deal of hives and welts. These two things are relatively common for me; however, the extent to which I broke out was much more severe this last time than in previous times. Granted, I have not been waxed in about a year and I am currently six months pregnant. Perhaps these two things played a role in how much welting and swelling experienced. Of greatest concern, is really the continued redness, itching, burning, and development of several dozen tiny pimples in the areas waxed. I am not sure what could've caused this severe break out (a breakout unlike any I have ever experienced before). I did not apply make up after my waxing nor any other facial product. The only products applied to my face were the wax, the oil to remove the wax, and the aloe to soothe my skin. Perhaps it was one of these products that caused my outbreak. I truly want to be as kind as possible and don't want to assume that the outbreak was the fault of the cosmetician as she was quite lovely. However lovely, something certainly happened to cause this severe break out and the brow bar should take every sanitary precaution to ensure that this does not happen to other customers. read more
