I was really hesitant to get my brows done because i haven't had them done in YEARS. A friend recommended the benefit browbar to me. I made an appointment with Anita and she was AMAZING. She outlined my brow and told me what she was going to wax off before she did it. She even went back and got the extra hairs that i wanted gone. I was very eager to try the benefit bar in this location since it has good reviews. I didn't make an appt since they do take walk-ins. I asked the gentleman if they were able to do my eyebrows and he said they were booked for the day and he couldn't take me in. It was him and another lady working there and they had no customers and as I walked off I see him walk to the clothing section and checking clothes out. That made me upset he refused to service me because they were "booked" but you have no one and still have time to look at clothes. read more

Listen, if you are someone that really values personal presentation and aesthetic...you are reading the right review. 3 years ago I had realized that my eyebrows were not even. I used to get them threaded, and whenever I would go get threaded, it was always a hit or miss, however, they were always uneven. I started become even more subconscious about this when it would be obvious in pictures. After years of accepting mediocre brows, I happened to be walking in Macy's, and talking to a person in the fragrance department about a idea I had. The idea: there should be a eyebrow service that maps out the eyebrows on your face and mathematically makes them equal. Literally the person told me this verbatim: "That already exists, and the best person to do it is Dezarae". She walked me over to her, and I was pleased to meet a very passionate and beautiful person who has clearly a master of her craft. I told her how my left eyebrow always was a bit lopsided and everything else that had me thinking God dealt me a bad hand of cards. She sat me down and told me the directions of the hairs, which one was thicker, and how to solve the issue. I grew my brows out for a week, came back, and came straight to Dezarae. She used a pencil, drew on my eyebrows, and showed me a mirror. In the moment, I couldn't tell what she had done, I looked like a half done pencil sketch...and I hesitantly told her "sure do what you need to do". And my God....when I was done...both eyebrows were even and looked great. It's been 3 years and I don't go to anyone else. Everyone tells me my eyebrows are perfect, and I tell them that they are the work of art belonging to Dezarae. I've worked in high fashion retail, performed in front of hundreds of people, sit on the board of a non profit...and I feel confident, presentable, and content for any occasion whenever Dezarae works her magic. Moral of the story is...if you are extremely picky, and particular, you want to be in her chair. read more

i really like this place. Staff is real friendly very helpful whenever i need a product or have questions they always take their time and make sure i leave happy.! I absolutely hate this eyebrow bar. I usually go to the one in Victoria Gardens, but this one is closer to me. I've been twice and the first time the lady working was doing someone's make up and didn't even acknowledge I was standing there. I stood there for 15 minutes and finally walked away. The second time I went early to get my eyebrows done and the lady never showed up because she had a family emergency. I just don't understand why this eyebrow bar only has one person working when the other ones I've been two always have at least two people doing eyebrows. Great place! And for $20 you get great service. I love benefit! They draw an outline of the brow first and show you to make sure that it's what you want then they go ahead and wax it and pluck them. After years of getting my eyebrows threaded, I went to the Benefit Brow Bar at Macy's and my mind was truly blown away. I was really satisfied at the threading salon I had been going to for years but Nidia at the Benefit Brow Bar was just so amazing and gave me a true beauty experience. I love the Brow Bar at Macy's. Clarice always takes the time to draw out your brow line before waxing. When you are done you get a nice brow massage and make up touch up. And they never take walk-in's if there is an appt scheduled within the next 15 minutes which means if you have an appt you will be seen on time.
