Best waxing services ever! Extremely professional and highly recommend any location- love them all!

Let me start this by saying that Ashley is absolutely FABULOUS!! I truly can't recommend her enough. She is meticulous when it comes to caring for your most private parts (LOL) and is equally thorough and efficient when it comes to aftercare recommendations. You always leave feeling comfortable, informed, and well taken care of. The one-star review is for the sole reason that I'm not returning to my previous waxing provider, which comes down to management response, or lack thereof, on two separate occasions. The first issue occurred over nine months ago when the Upland location closed. I was unable to get a refund for the remaining balance on my account. When I called this location to ask if I could at least use the funds toward product purchases, the manager never followed up. The second issue happened just this past week. I brought to their attention that the stepping stool (used to get onto the waxing table) has always been filthy. I was told this was not a priority, as there were "more important areas" to focus on. For those unfamiliar, clients sometimes remove their shoes before stepping onto the table for a bikini wax, which makes the cleanliness of that stool especially important. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of this place. The treatment room appeared unsanitary, with wax all over the floor and the step stool used to get onto the bed was visibly dirty and covered in buildup. Cleanliness and sanitation should be a top priority, especially in a business that provides personal care services. Unfortunately, the condition of the room made me question the overall hygiene standards. I will not be returning to this place. read more

During my appointment, I was burned during the wax, and I was left unhappy with how the service was handled. They definitely need a new front dest personal or better training. Coming from a manager myself. My patients come first. It almost seems like the girls in the front don't ever want to do anything to help out. This is the second time. 9 mins late, really, you're going to cancel my appointment. Accidents happen. I would never cancel a patients appointment without a courtesy call. So unprofessional. I get it. I should have been here on time, but life does happen. I previously was going to give them a review but choose not to since I don't feel one incident deserves a negative review. But this is the 2nd time. 1st with Vanessa now with Cam. Get it together, girls. You have a job because of the customers. Instead, they are here talking about their personal life, tiredness, etc. Be a little more lenient, stretch out your arms a bit, trust me, and it'll go a long way in your future at any job. I've been coming to this wax location since 2019. I've been very loyal, and spent lots of money on wax passes. I truly enjoy leaving positive experience reviews for businesses. Unfortunately, I feel that I need to leave this review upon my experience today. This morning I had an incident with a wax specialist, Claudia. She lacked professionalism. She refused to finish my service, swore at me, and slammed the door once I left the room. This was all a projection from her own issues. I had burn bumps after this situation and am still uncomfortable. I do not feel safe to return to this location as this employee intentionally tried to intimidate me after the event. I also had to call multiple times to get a follow up conversation that was less than 10 minutes with management. No one reached out to me on their own. The manager made it clear finishing payroll over our 7 minute conversation had to be prioritized. I had to suggest being followed up with as well after another person finally called me on their own. As the client, I should not have to reach out for solutions or follow ups regarding this. The solutions I was offered do not resolve the situation. This wax specialist makes not only made me uncomfortable, but her coworkers uncomfortable as well. I will no longer be recommending European wax center to friends and family. Wax services are vulnerable environments and I should not have left feeling the way this wax specialist made me feel. In an exposed private environment, you should never feel lack of respect or comfort. read more

Had my first wax with European today. I've been waxed before but just not from EWC. That being said, the front desk ladies are super nice. The whole process with them was easy. My waxer Alyssa was nice as well. She was very quick and was able to get all the hairs I needed to get. I would recommend coming to this location. read more

I came in today to get a wax, which I've been doing at this salon for a few years now. As an African-American, I tend to sweat a lot during my Brazilian wax. However, for the past 4 or 5 times, the air conditioning in the suite where I get my wax done has not been working or they just haven't turned it on. It's been extremely hot and uncomfortable, and it's concerning that they haven't fixed it yet. I've mentioned it to the receptionists at the front desk, but they said there's nothing they can do. I've gone to this location a few times, and every time it's been okay. I've never been 100% satisfied with my eyebrows. They really struggle to work with my shape of brows, but I've had other waxers at a different location do a great job so I've always held on to the hope of finding someone who could do the same. This location is just closer to where I am now so it's convenient. Today I went in, and the room wasn't prepared. The bed was still being set up and when she was placing the wax down on my face it was way too hot. I had let her know, and then on the next try it was still very hot. After the service I looked at my eyebrows and was so absolutely devastated. They were so skinny and completely different shapes. One of my eyebrows looked like a rainbow and the other one followed the shape of the brow, but was so incredibly thin. To top it all off, the woman who did my eyebrows told me to go home and clean up my eyebrows a bit. I came in to get them done so I don't have to do them at home, and it's not like she really left anything to work with. I did not take the offer for another waxer to fix them because they were already so thin. I paid for my service and will be asking for a refund when the manager calls me. Worst wax I have ever got. So, I went in for a free wax on pink week. This lady was really welcoming and nice. I was a bit late on getting there from a scheduled appointment. She insisted that my wax would be free even if I was late, so I scheduled an other appointment. (11/15/2023) Wednesday comes around for my appointment (Stomach and Brazilian wax) , I go in and I'm obviously very nervous. Something told me not to do it, but I gave it a chance anyway. The waxer was really sweet and nice. However when it came to waxing that's where everything went downhill. While she was waxing my stomach she specifically told me they're not allowed to go over your waxing area more than 3 times. She did the exact opposite and kept doing it! I didn't want to say anything because this wax of free, rightt? She finally moves on from my stomach to my private and everything seems okay till I go to the bathroom before I leave. I check my areas I've been waxed and let me just say they use a specific wax so it's supposed to work "better". But no, they were so many patches and it was so painful for my first time. My skin was really red and irritated from her continuing to wax me more than 4 times in the same spot. I obviously didn't say anything again because I didn't want to start problems. When I got to the recipient's to check out. That's where everything got worse. The lady up front told me I had to pay. I was obviously confused because the lady (the day prior) said it would be completely free? I tried explaining to the lady it's supposed to be free, but no she continues to push me to pay. So I finally agreed because im a people pleaser and dumb under pressure. Im so frustrated and annoyed at this point. Once I get home I start crying because I felt so humiliated that I went here, I felt so much worse after the wax. I thought I was going to feel sexy and embraced. But no not at all, I felt was embarrassed and humiliated. I did dispute the charge but they still charged me again for a second time! DO NOT COME HERE. read more

I wish I could remember the name of the amazing wax technician who helped me twice now. She was amazing, fast, and professional and saw me exactly at my appointment time (both times). I booked my next appointment with her already. The front staff has also been exceptionally professional and kind. I've used several of their products, and I'm a fan of their exfoliating gel. It smells great, and I tend to splurge on it about once a year. I've used European Wax in various locations. Currently, this is the closest to my home. My experiences have always been positive. Whatever systems they use for booking work. Once during the pandemic, once some restrictions were over and they were allowed to open, they had an issue with the computers and couldn't book anyone. I came in to get a Brazilian with Taliyah and she did a horrible job. First of all, she wasn't welcoming at all, she kept quiet the whole time during the wax and seemed rushed throughout it all.
