Brian was also the only one who suggested delaying some of the trimming until my vegetable garden was dormant since it would be difficult to do the work without the risk of having the workers step on my garden plants to do the trimming. The crew was efficient and did a fantastic job of cleaning up afterwards. The crew chief (Benjamin) walked me through the work before they started to make sure everything was addressed, and walked me through the work after completion to make sure all was done to my satisfaction. It was a pleasure working with him. Another distinguishing point is Riverbend's office staff. I was able to get to a real person quickly when I called (a rarity these days). Everyone I spoke with was polite, efficient, and very helpful. Riverbend is an excellent company and I would highly recommend them (and plan to use them for all my tree work from now on).

He was professional and able to solve the problems we had with ease. He put sod in the backyard and seeded, fertilized, aerated, and sprayed the weeds in the front yard. He worked efficiently with a deadline that we had in mind. He has visited to mow the lawn and frequently checks in on its upkeep-going above and beyond what was expected. He provided us with advice for fixing a French drain that was not working properly. He walked us through the process of setting up our own sprinkler system. The sod in the back looks beautiful and thick and the front lawn has made a great comeback and is also thick and green. Great service! Originally we were going to have 2 large limbs removed that hung over our house…read more Then we had an Ailanthus tree fall from our yard onto our neighbors fence. So THAT needed to go, as well as the remaining 2 ailanthus trees. Then as we looked at the tree with the large limbs, of course then we see it was rotten at the top. So that huge tree also needed to go. Bottom line was we spent way more that we had initially hoped, but once the crew was working it was easy to see why it cost what it did. They had an amazing piece of equipment that fit into the backyard and was able to reach way up to the tree top. The crew did a fantastic job of removing the trees without hitting our roof, the fence, the neighbors house and fence, etc. They also did a wonderful job of cleaning up after the removal, and it at our request left us some oak firewood, nicely stacked. I would not hesitate to hire them again. I had gotten several other quotes before going with Mills. It was hard to compare quotes because we ended up doing more work that initially planned, but we are glad we did the additional work.

They were professional, cleaned up after themselves, took care not to hurt our house or anything on our patio, and they only walked on hostas that were already dead for the season and they did NOT walk anything that would be hurt from the foot traffic. They did a good…read morejob doing it! but their price seemed out the ballpark! 2 guys less than 3 hours work, a couple of tree climbs to hack a branch, and some small limbs that needed a stick saw. For the price i paid i used to get 2 100' trees removed. Maybe that's the market these days, but ask around for bids. I sure will. Lesson learned.
