We let them know I was the lucky winner (of the WCN July Reader Appreciation Day), and we ordered our custom build--1/2 mushroom, cheese, pepperoni, and guess what, more cheese! I'd eat the kitchen sink, but I wanted my better half to enjoy the pizza with me. We also ordered the cheese bread. It was surprisingly seasoned to perfection, as others we have tried aren't, cooked to perfection, and my fiancée described it as "to die for" or decadent, LOL, and then she dipped it in the sauce. The look on her face said it all. She will tell you that the sauce is the best she has ever had, and I have to agree. Sweet, great tomato flavor, and a perfect balance of spices. She wants to know if it is sold by the bowl or gallon, by the way. Cheese bread, we give a solid 15 out of 10 stars, no joke! This was on point! Now, the pizza. Eye-popping, also cooked to perfection, and quite possibly the best pizza we have had in a long time, possibly ever. The balance of the cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, and more cheese was unbelievable. The pepperoni used was fantastic, not overpowering, and was much milder than the spicy kind you would find from other places, and we both loved it. The dough for the pizza is a perfect match for all the toppings, and did we mention the sauce!?! Pizza scores a 10 out of 10 stars, just phenomenal. The sauce is tart and a little sweet and there are small chunks of tomatoes here and there which infuse even more flavor with each bite. If you hold up a slice for a little CSI: Pizza action, you're going to see a firm "V" shape on the side profile with a slight bend towards the tip of the slice. As far as I'm concerned, the classics are the way to go. I would say "The Don" is the overall crowd pleaser with a little more cheese than the basic pep but I think I've permanently been converted to the "Moe Greene". It's simple, there's plenty of cheese, and you get to really enjoy the bread and sauce. The "Fredo" is also good if you want something a little different. It has a small dusting of hot sauce and a generous amount of diced chicken and a drizzling of ranch.
