I've been here a few times now. The fried catfish and fried chicken wings are outstanding. Their food is made to order, so nothing sits around under a heat lamp. Don't come here if you're in a rush. It takes about 20 minutes to get your plate. You order on their tablet and they'll text you when your plate is ready. I got one of their lunch specials available from 11am-3pm. It was the 5 piece whole wings $9.49. It came with a piece of bread and fries. It was so yummy. Get the wings with lemon pepper. It takes it up a notch. There are no tables or chairs to dine in. Drove past this place so many times before finally getting a craving for some fried fish & im glad I chose the right spot to fill my craving! I must give 5 stars on the overall experience, food was perfectly seasoned & fried fresh (they even texted me to let me know when my order was ready) the Oreo dessert cake thingy was AMAZING. I think it was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had, we also got the boneless wings and we were pleasantly surprised!! They were hand cut and perfect. The hot sauce...the bomb!! Saw this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. Restaurants don't serve walleye where I live, so I decided to try the walleye and the catfish. The food is cooked to order, so it came out hot. The catfish was pretty good, but the walleye was not as I expected The walleye was a little too salty and had a fishy taste. I've had walleye quite a few times, but this was my least enjoyable experience. This place is well lit and looked clean. You can purchase your seafood to go and cook it yourself or you can have them cook it for you. I like that you can see your food before it gets cooked. Unfortunately there is no seating (excepting for a couple of waiting chairs), so you will have to take your food to go. read more

Ordered two dinners, chicken and shrimp combo and also a small walleye dinner. Not my first visit, ordered prior to closing. The chicken and shrimp were over cooked. the walleye was cooked perfect, but there were only 3 pieces and I paid for four!! Called them back spoke with manager, was told her staff assured her there were 4 pieces and it was not! Fine!! Not going to argue with you. we weren't driving back, just wanted them to be aware. I did not appreciate being called a liar! And the fries were soggy and greasy!! We pay to much money for this restaurant food, at least make sure my order is correct. Will cook my own food! The food is excellent! I go there at least once a week to order fish; either prepared in the restaurant or take home to prepare myself. I've never had any complaints with my orders. Located in the strip mall on Merriman Rd. Just north of Van Born, this apparently family-owned, carry out spot is serving up pretty good food with friendly service. Upon entering you'll immediately notice the fresh fish counter as the restaurant offers a "you buy, we fry" service. Because of this, they are able to accept Bride Cards for payment and charge a small fee for cooking. They also have a menu and carry a variety of fresh fish, chicken and sides that are sure to please any palate. Everything is cooked fresh and the batter and seasoning they've seem to have mastered is above average in taste. I've come to acquire quite a yearning for their batter dipped fried chicken gizzards. But although they are on the menu, I recommend calling to inquire if they have them, because they often don't. Service is friendly and professional with the added touch of letting you visually review and approve of your order before they pack it away for carrying out. However, it is sometimes on the slow side. Calling ahead and placing your order to cut down on the time. If you're in the mood for good, freshly prepared chicken or seafood, give this place a try. Went to Eastpointe location Ordered cod and swai not sure what fish they gave us but it wasn't cod and both fish looked the same not sure if it was a mistake or they just give you whatever tried calling Noone answers I was going to stop in again but honestly not worth it I'm not a fish expert but their's no way those orders were 2 different fish and based on texture it definitely wasn't cod. read more

Wally's pickup online menu is different from the menu they have displayed. I'm still not understanding why they asked to see me phone to prove to them what their pickup online menu displayed. The fact that I told them when I called to confirm that the #3 came with fish, wing dings and shrimp for $21.99. But the assistant manager Diamond tried to argue with and say that what I wanted was a #6. Guess what Diamond the #6 isn't even on the pickup online menu while you were laughing with another customer!!! read more

People here are nice and joke a lot. Food is good, especially fresh (then again what isn't). Pricing is a bit higher than other places in the area and you can miss the location if you're not really looking for it. My fiancé ordered party trays of lemon pepper wings and they were very accommodating and gave us a great price. Worth a try if you're in the area! read more

I like the owners, however, As a person who understands marketing a nd increasing your sells, please invest in some Lawrys season salt. The store is always clean, but the chicken is bland. Another good product to use for chicken and fish is Zatarains and a local product called Russell Mix. Russell Mix comes in a white paper bag. They carry it at Eastern Market.
