I have been their patient for some time. I showed up for my annual check up and was shown the door. They no longer take medicaid (effectively discriminating against disabled, elderly and unemployed people) and are "too busy" to inform their patients about the change (their words not mine) ahead of their visit. They could "hardly contact every client" about an insurance change (Again their words.) Does anyone else get inundated with reminder messages or even advertising messages? Evidently Clarkson's does have the capacity and they are well able to contact all their patients with useful tidbits of information.They just don't think some things are worth mentioning or is it that some of us are not worth contacting? They would rather waste our time than take the trouble. I do value your time. Don't go there.

A year after I bought them they broke. I fell asleep wearing them. At the same time my husband was a year into his cancer treatment and it wiped out are savings. I went to Clarkson's and ask them if they fix them. I told them I couldn't afford a new pair at that time. They didn't ask why they just fixed them using parts they had already. No charge. Well I recently broke them again. I went back but the girl who fixed them no longer worked there. So I left. Then to my surprise they must have looked up my number and called saying they could try to fix them. They took time to do this and didn't just forget about the lady with the broken frames. The people there are thoughtful and kindhearted folks.

My prescription glasses were not working for me. I was surprised when Dr Borders showed me pictures of my retina which shows a serious issue. He asked if my previous Dr said anything about this or about my cataracts. No he didn't. He said everything was OK. Dr Borders said I am on verge of losing sight in one eye, plus I definitely need my cataracts removed. I am glad that he was truthful and direct with me. He immediately got me an appointment with a retina specialist as well as a cataract doctor. I now feel like I am on right track to save and improve my vision, thanks to Dr Borders.

When we made the appointment they told me what to except, what the tests consist of and what to bring if need to bring in something. The location was easy to find in the shopping plaza and plenty of parking. Check In was fairly easy for a new patient, we filled out most of the paperwork online prior to the appointment. The receptionist was super friendly at 8:30 am, she took her time explaining everything including the insurance process. After Check in, we literally didn't have time to sit down, we were taking back to a room. Our nurse (who's name I can't remember) was fabulous. She explained the appointment to me and my child. She answered and questions he had or just concerns and even made a couple of jokes. Once Dr. Pollard came in and did his assessments, we were off to the testing. The nurse did exactly as expected and tired to go as fast as she could with the needles. Needless to say I wasn't prepared enough nor exactly explained how the testing procedures went. They told me scratching but it was a bit more than that. For an 8 year old is was a bit painful. So were the next under the skin test as well. But overall we came for a purpose and learned a lot about my child's allergies. They were extremely patient with us and super understanding of my child's temperament. Dr. Polland explained the results and treatment options with ease. He didn't rush off, he answered all of our questions and concerns. He even went into depth of my child's allergies and what to except out of life. Very thankful for the referral from our pediatrician. I am grateful to have Doctors that provide treatment with care.

Minutes before closing, I reached Kris in the Madison office who went above and beyond to reach Dr. Haider about my concerns. To my surprise, he instructed her to give me his cell number so he could talk to me for which I am grateful. He cleared up the issues and my surgery went well. Do not be afraid to ask questions because Dr. Haider listens intently and patiently to every concern and/or question before he answers, and I love how caring and thorough he is with his exams. I highly recommend Dr. Haider for your eye care needs.

He did procedure with laser to remove scar tissue that had formed. In just a matter of minutes he had it all taken care of and my eyes are as clear as they've ever been. Review for the Imaging Department-Mammography…read more Visited 21 August 2025 This was my second visit specifically with the mammography department. During this visit I had two scheduled appointments back to back here and it is always a pleasant experience. From registration to the actual procedure, all the staff were always helpful. Before going, read the instructions on MyChart because it tells you which entrance to use (Entrance A if going to registration; or Entrance B by the gift shop if going directly to Imaging). There is ample free parking available, just don't park in any marked spots that don't correspond to the department you are visiting (for example, there are spots dedicated to patients visiting the rehabilitation department). After registration, I followed the hallway to the Imaging department where they checked me in for my appointment. Although I had to wait so that they can request my records from other facilities, I was okay with waiting (I actually had copies of my records but silly me forgot them at home). The technician kept me updated at regular intervals. They apologized profusely for having me wait, but I was in no rush. It was reassuring that they informed me about the delays. The procedure itself was standard. The facility was clean. There was a bathroom in the mammography department so you don't have to run through the halls half-dressed, and coffee was available. The dressing/undressing room was large and comfortable and had the wipes necessary for cleaning yourself if you forgot that you weren't supposed to wear deodorant (because who wants to leave home smelling unpleasant?). Overall, I had a good visit and would recommend the mammography department at Baptist Health Hardin for all your mammary needs.

She approached me with an attitude like she did them even when they weren't talking to her but a coworker. I was simply waiting in line complaining to who I was with about the wait. When are employees allowed to butt in on other patients let alone talk to them with this attitude Bloody tissues and wraps on triage floor, even the waiting room was unclean. Complaints flying out of mouths of unclean beds I wouldn't know I never made it that far , I watched staff switch while waiting and whenever a patient was rude they let them get what they wanted. I walked out, as much as I NEEDED TO BE SEEN, PUT IN BY MY DOCTOR, I couldn't take the attitude, full waiting room and many staff walking around aimless. So many people gave up the wait before me and I still was being pushed back like it was favoritism. "We take who is essentially dying first" but a guy was moaning in pain in front of me BAD and a woman projectile vomiting across the room, but no a woman reading a book laughing it up with staff needs "immediate attention" And now I'm updating because I posted my complaint. It got worse.My sciatica was pinched.Went to a different Dr. .Got an mri.Turns out I had a segregated bone heavily pinching on my nerves.broken bone and now a disk removed.I was ignored at The family medical center.The only thing the Dr. was worried about was me pooping in a box .I'm sure there is money involved. I have received 10 notification' about sending in my fecal matter in.it is harrassment.Because I have not done this he has played around with refilling my medications.

Also in all honesty I wanted a second opinion as I was not impressed with her previous optometrist. First visit, I was greatly impressed with the offices coordination and throughput. It's a smallish space, but they make maximum use of it. They coordinate the movement of patients very well and everything moves along at a good pace. After her first initial exam, the optometrist was very honest with my mother telling her that she really did not need to buy new glasses but as my mother was unhappy with her current pair she did go ahead and purchase a new pair, which were delivered as promised if not earlier than promised and my mom was very happy with the new glasses. Second visit was very smooth as well, same great coordination and movement, the office staff and optometrist communicate well with each other. Dr. Sadler the optometrist is very through and complete in her exam and is very open and willing to answer questions. Much happier with this provider!

The Vision First office in Hodgenville KY attempted to force me to pay my copay upfront because…read morethey stated that my secondary insurance wouldn't pay them. Well, I have secondary insurance to cover such expenses. They knew exactly what two insurances I have prior to my appointment and waited till we got there before attempting to extort this money from me and advising me to bill my insurance myself for reimbursement. I was even told this was because of Obama care....WOW they are absolutely ridiculous. I would suggest that if they didn't want to abide by their agreements with the insurance companies they shouldn't tell people they accept said insurance.
