My husband and I are from Wyoming and needed some indoor batting practice before our upcoming Rockies Fantasy Camp. We were only able to come to Windsor at very specific times due to the long drive. The owners, Brian and Krista, were very accommodating in adjusting their hours for us. The facility is very versatile to everyone's needs. We were able to use one of the 8 batting cages for some throwing practice, which was an added bonus. The batting cages offer several options to cater to your needs and budgets. We used the amazing Homeplate Simulator and were not disappointed!! It is the most realistic batting experience next to receiving pitches from a pro pitcher. It allows adjustments for speed, type of pitch, etc. Brian, Krista and their staff were super helpful through the whole experience. While we only did baseball batting practice, the Academy also offers options for softball, basketball and soccer! So the next time you are looking for an indoor sports facility, you will not be disappointed with CHAMP Sports Academy. We're looking forward to our next visit. It is worth the drive!

Awkward moment for the ages: John Elway (part-owner of the Crush) accepting the trophy after winning the big game and being asked how it compared to winning the Super Bowl. Ever the diplomat, Elway, through gritted teeth, said it was equally thrilling. Of course no one's buying it. Stupid question to begin with. But you've got to love a professional sports league that pits Elway against Jon Bon Jovi. Go Crush!

They have a lot of weights and weights machines in the middle but they're lacking cardio equipment. They have about eight treadmills and they lean towards the jankier side. They're dated and if you want to increase or decrease your speed quickly, well you're out of luck. They just seem to have some of everything... Rower, elliptical, bikes. But you can't beat the price, if you're in Aurora resident it's crazy ridiculous and they have monthly memberships plus 10 pass deals which land you under $4 a visit. I mainly go for the weight area and equipment but they have an array of group fitness classes so maybe one day that will happen. This place is very kid heavy so if you're looking for peace and quiet, go elsewhere. Picky nit? The facility faces west and has amazing views of the front range yet they have automated blinds that go down each afternoon taking away those gorgeous views. The coaches are very personable and make practices fun and push the girls in Powers too perform at their best. Even during covid, the club has done an exceptional job at trying to accommodate the state and RMR restrictions while also understanding how important it is for the girls to maintain their skills and athletic abilities. We couldn't be happier!!
