(This, after trying to let my son figure it out himself, then getting involved, moving my concerns up the ladder). I was told the concerns I had "did not happen" and "boys will be boys." Names have been deleted below in order to ensure this post is able to stay up. Hi ****, I have attached a recording of yesterday's meeting with Coach *** and ****. It was my understanding that you were going to attend, not ***. My objective in having the meeting was to share knowledge of our experience so that the Slammers organization could learn from the negative experience that my son had; instead, **** was incredibly passive aggressive and defensive. *** was not open to hear anything I said (if you listen to the recording, you can confirm for yourself). I am a strong believer that if one person identifies an issue and communicates it, there are likely several other individuals who have had similar experiences, who are not communicating their experiences. Also, Coach stated in the meeting that his team should come to him- my response is, if as a new team member you don't know your coach, and don't have faith that change will happen, why as a young man would you continue to come to the coach? I wonder if the lesson of "boys will be boys" is on me, based on the conversation? I also wonder if I was a man if the conversation would have gone differently? Food for thought. Sincerely, ****

When we told the employee she said she can't fix that and didn't give us a new coin. Half of the cages were locked and we had to go into the wires of one to start it. The helmet was also disgusting and covered in hair. All in all, it's the only one I can find around us so we will likely go again, but not out of choice.

What the hell, Matt? You've been here for over a year already! And a quick Yelp search led me to Cornerstone. The great thing about these cages is that they're apart of Cornerstone Park, but separated from the ballfields. I don't remember how much I used to pay for tokens, so any comparison is void. These were $9 for five rounds, or 80 pitches. There are nine cages in total, ranging from slow to fast, baseball and softball. I've never been to a batting cage with an option of height for the pitching machine. Nice touch! For the most part, the cages were accurate, fast and mostly in working order. Obviously you can rent a bat/helmet for free. You're allowed to bring your own if you choose. Except many more check-ins from me at Cornerstone. I'm ready to get my swing back and rep blisters on my hands!

What was promised as a 3-4 day project has now stretched to nearly 5 weeks, and our backyard has been left in terrible condition. There are still huge dirt piles sitting in our yard, and despite repeated promises, no one has returned to clean up. The installers destroyed our rock beds by dumping dirt and concrete on them, left concrete on our driveway and debris across the yard, chopped bushes unnecessarily, and even drove a bobcat up onto our walkway, breaking pavers and ruining grout. They also broke our satellite dish and sprinkler system in the process. We've asked multiple times for the mess to be addressed, but no one has come. While we love the court itself, the lack of professionalism, communication, and respect for our property has been incredibly frustrating.
