I have read what some of the reviews people have written, both bad and good. I then went there…read moremyself with my sons to see for myself. I have now waited a few months before I decided to I write my own. The facility is top notch. The old machines that were in there from when this place was first built 25 years ago have been replaced with new tunnels, only adding to what this place has to offer. The have a world lass performance/weightroom. Every piece of technological equipment that the Pros use, and even a physical therapy area. Plus, 13 batting/pitching tunnels with each having a hack attack, Lscreen, and batting Ts. I will agree that the front desk staff, usually young high school players are just so so, but they weren't rude, they just seemed like any high school kid. Now the staff, first class. We went in to use a tunnel and hit, about 10 minutes in to our 1/2 rental, the GM walked by and introduced himself and then asked if he could come in and give a few pointers to the boys. He hit with them for 30 minutes and then told us to stay as long as we wanted. Didn't charge us a thing, nor did he try to sell us anything else. I have found that the staff I have dealt with is similar to the ownership. Since then, I have taken my kids to watch some of their high school teams play. It's funny, when you have no allegiance to either side and watch not only the game, but the fans, coaches, and players, you get a real feel for what they are about. What I have seen is they are competitive, well coached, understand the etiquette to the game, encouraging and have expectations of their players and let them know when they are not meeting them. When my kids are ready for that level of play, we will be at those tryouts with bells on!

I have to say I initially bought into the narrative about the "evil" slammers. So put our kids in…read moreother organizations, & dealt with some of the most self-serving, dishonest people in any arena. So kiddo was invited to a slammers team. After a few months, I'm sick to my stomach that we weren't here all along. Sure it's a business, but I've seen nothing but positive return on our investment

When we told the employee she said she can't fix that and didn't give us a new coin. Half of the cages were locked and we had to go into the wires of one to start it. The helmet was also disgusting and covered in hair. All in all, it's the only one I can find around us so we will likely go again, but not out of choice.

I grew up playing baseball and it's something that I still miss. Back in Jacksonville, I used to go…read moreto the batting cages every few weeks. The nostalgia brought me joy, plus swinging the bat is a great stress relief! The other night a thought hit me like a ton of bricks. "I haven't swung a bat since living in Denver." What the hell, Matt? You've been here for over a year already! And a quick Yelp search led me to Cornerstone. The great thing about these cages is that they're apart of Cornerstone Park, but separated from the ballfields. I don't remember how much I used to pay for tokens, so any comparison is void. These were $9 for five rounds, or 80 pitches. There are nine cages in total, ranging from slow to fast, baseball and softball. I've never been to a batting cage with an option of height for the pitching machine. Nice touch! For the most part, the cages were accurate, fast and mostly in working order. Obviously you can rent a bat/helmet for free. You're allowed to bring your own if you choose. Except many more check-ins from me at Cornerstone. I'm ready to get my swing back and rep blisters on my hands!
