Don't rent from Bennett's storage. I had a storage unit there for over five years that I rarely went to. When I moved out of it, they refused to give me back my security deposit claiming that I did damage to the unit. The damage they claim I did was rust and corrosion. I will include their own pictures. Everything I had there was either in cardboard boxes or Rubbermaid containers (set on two aluminum ladders to protect it all from the moisture of the floor), with the exception of our camping tents and my toolbox. It seems to me that rust and corrosion are the cost of doing business when you own a metal building. The rust and corrosion occurred where moisture obviously got in from the outside. There are always puddles on the property when it rains. When we asked who we could speak to, we were told by the girl at the desk that it was the decision the owners made, and that I couldn't talk to them about it. This is bad business, because they know you are not going to sue them in small claims court as the security deposit is such a small amount. They are crooks! read more

very rude people. rented here for 20 years and every encounter is very rude. don't know why they treat people so bad.

Last year we had our storage space at Bennett's ransacked the night we moved our stuff in. Apparently there are roving thieves who tour the place nightly looking for inadequately locked doors. Bennett's security was non-existent. Their security cameras, if any, were useless. They were totally uninterested in our loss and did nothing to help investigate. Their attitude was that we hadn't locked up properly so it was totally our fault and they couldn't care less. The police said it was at least the second recent such burglary. You would have thought they would have video showing who was in and out that night and who was moving stuff out of our space, but no. Nothing. The fact they know there are thieves roving their yard doesn't concern them at all. So, save yourself the storage cost and just leave your stuff on the street. Probably safer that way. read more
