Everything seemed great until I moved my things into my new home and we discovered Asian stink bugs in many of our boxes. Dead and alive. We flushed them down the toilet to get them out. They let off a stink that tells others to join them! Since we finished unpacking 2 months ago, I have found a lone alive bug somewhere in the house about 1x a week. I think they are hibernating and wake up due to being warm. It's below zero outside, so I just catch it and throw it out into the snow. if I knew about these bugs, I never would've rented there. These bugs give me the creeps.

Today I noticed one of the doors to the indoor units would not work properly. The public bathroom (that's not in the office) is not cleaned very often, maybe once a week. Sometimes there will be urine on the seat for days at a time. The lighting inside is on a timer, which is great for energy saving and such, except when I'm in my storage for any extended period of time the lights will shut off after 20 minutes or so if not walking down the hallway. So I walk out & there are only a few safety lights on. It does get a little creepy. I can't wait for the lease to be up so that we can switch storage units.

I was told on more than one occasion that my unit had been auctioned, but no official notice or documentation was ever provided. When I tried to contact the office for clarification, my calls were either ignored or ended abruptly. I was denied access to retrieve even personal, non-saleable items like photos and documents. The charges added were not explained clearly, and I never received a proper breakdown of fees or sale proceedings. This situation felt incredibly unfair and one-sided. I have filed complaints with the Indiana Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau, and I encourage others who have had similar experiences to do the same. If you choose to store your belongings here, I recommend documenting everything thoroughly and being cautious--especially if there's a chance you may experience financial hardship during your rental term.

He looked right at me and saw that I pulled over near the propane filling station. It is now 6:28. I rang the bell near the filling station not once, but twice. I waited patiently for a few minutes as I always seem to do at this location. I returned to the store only to be told by the employee that the filling station closes at 6:30 and the bell doesn't work. Hmm, how about posting signage at the filling station to let customers know of this dilemma. Given the circumstances, I felt that the employee should have felt obligated to help me (the customer) out! Good deeds go a long way. Very disappointed. You can do better.

The call in customer service for u-haul service is great…read more This location has a large inventory. Their service is a disgrace. They are not engaging and very little help. Never checked me back in, I had to take photos of my rental upon return to ensure that no damage was confirmed. They did a poor job of hooking up the trailer. I unhooked it upon return and put it back in the spot. Lazy Disconnected Aloof Not customer oriented It is a direct result of poor management. Corporate should step in and do something.
