Bens Paving did an excellent job repaying our driveway. The team was efficient ABD professional. Really glad we called them. Highly recommended! Ask for Henry!

I wish it could be 0. Charlie has no pride in his work. He provided us with a quote to replace and widen our driveway. I had to leave for work the morning his team was completing the project and I made the mistake of paying in full. While leaving I texted him to make sure the curb was cut to make our wider driveway usable. He refused saying that a permit was needed. When I asked how much for the permit he said he doesn't know and I can check with them myself. I asked why we never talked about this as an issue he had no response. I asked he could fill the driveway up flush with the curb so that we can use the driveway we paid for he agreed to do so. When I came home, he decided otherwise. He also decided to leave me with my neighbors yard waste from his work to clean up along with a mess from his concrete saw on the house that we just had painted a month ago. Sad company without any care for their work. STAY AWAY.

Ben's did the seal coat on our driveway a year ago, that day it looked fine. After a few rainfalls I noticed an oil haze washing down the drive. Within a month the "asphalt seal coat" was washing! I called to let them know that and someone came out to look "eventually" then told me to cold to correct see you in the spring! NEVER TO BE SEEN NOR HEARD FROM AGAIN ! ! BUT HAD NO PROBLEM CASHING THE CHECK! Denny DeMitis

Is it possible to give negative stars? As I read other reviews, one thing is clear, Ben is not a man of his word We hired Ben and team to seal coat our driveway. Less than 6 months later our driveway looks horrible (please see attached pictures). Initially Ben was assuring that he would come early April to fix and blamed the problem on 'a bad batch'. Months later we sit with many broken promises and now Ben completely ignores all correspondences. If you are interested in sub-par workmanship, horrendous customer support, broken promises and months of runaround, Ben and team have you covered. Buyer beware.

I contacted them to…read moreconstruct an interior PA blue stone pad for my new wood stove and also to install stone veneer on two of the walls. Andrew and Steve are not just stone masons and have excellent skills in both interior and exterior construction that comes in handy when the unforeseen glitch pops up. For example they were able to reinforce the floor to support the very heavy weight of the pad and stove. While working in the basement on the floor reinforcement, Andrew noticed that there was a bump in the basement concrete floor that I lamented had been tripping me every time I did the laundry. Without hesitation, he went to his truck for some tools and remedied that rather large bump at no additional charge. Steve is an artisan, and created a real show piece backdrop to the Vermont castings red stove. The pattern and color variation he put forth is truly amazing and far exceeded my expectations. There was one stone that I felt was a little off in color, and they had no pushback, and were completely open to replacing it albeit while the stone had not fully set, but it was obvious their goal was 100% customer satisfaction. The cuts for outlets, windows, and ceilings were flawless and the mortar joints between stones was applied perfectly. I learned that Andrew is a 2nd generation mason, and he and Steve had been training under his dad since they were kids. I had to travel out of town, and had no worries leaving them the keys to finish the job. They are great communicators and completely trust-worthy. When icy cold rain was forecast Andrew called the night before to alert me of the threatening weather and left it that he would revisit the workday in the morning. He called bright and early to "ASK" if we could postpone a day as he would be cutting the stone and mixing mortar outside. I of course agreed. They also coordinated with the stove installers to help wrangle the very heavy stove pad onto the frame they had built. Andrew and Steve are team players and also a great team, with complimentary skills and eyes that truly ensures a beautiful job. They cleaned up every day and left the job, spotless with no debris. They have my highest recommendation and can handle any masonry job at hand. 6 Stars out of 5!!!!!

Matt's was one of several estimates I sought, and pricing was all over the place. Matt's bid was competitive and fair, and he demonstrated a depth of knowledge and familiarity that made me immediately comfortable hiring him. Due to scheduling conflicts with another contractor installing a deck for me, I threw Matt a few curveballs. At least twice I had to ask him to move his start date, and when his team did arrive, the deck contractors were totally in his way. Throughout, Matt was patient and focused on his work. The guys he brought with him worked tirelessly over four days to excavate, remove old materials, prepare proper drainage missing from the old wall, rebuild the wall with new EP Henry pavers and regrade the area around the new wall - as well as around my driveway. Matt and his crew went above and beyond, doing extra regrading work not included in his estimate at no additional charge. And they cleaned up the work area at the end of the job beautifully. The wall looks so good that the old, shabby brick pavers by my pool now look sad by comparison. I'll be asking Matt Burns to come back to address that issue, and others, in the future. Hire Matt with confidence. You'll be glad you did. And if you have questions or want more details just message me. I'm happy to offer my strong recommendation of Matt and his team.

I called Groundworks, who came out with their state of the art equipment, found out where the problem areas are, and gave a quote to fix it. Although it'll take a while to be able to afford the cost of fixing the house's foundation, I was able to have them fix the front porch since it is connected to the roof. They did a great job with leveling it, and even explaining to me what they are doing. All in all, I am quite impressed with Groundworks, and will look forward to figuring out a way to be able to afford to get the house's foundation fixed.

That is what initial contact at Groundworks assured me. NO! It was a boring 2.5 hour memorized sales pitch for their $26,000.00 system which would rip up floor concrete, remove stairs and outdoor patio, relocate electricalpanel and leave me with added repairs for which I would have to find other contractors and pay additional money. There was not even a pretense to give me what I wanted, and he kept saying he was not qualified to diagnosis the water problem, only qualified to recite how their system is installed. Beware! My son and I reset the downspouts of the gutters after doing our own "amateur" inspection. It rained torrentially twice already and- surprise - no water in the basement. So grateful I saved $30,000.00 by using common sense. Still angry at phoniness of Groundworks. If you need them, clarify what you want upfront and save yourself time and money.
