Our race team was traveling to LaSalle Illinois for a week long race series. On the way our refrigerator in our motor home quit working. I did a search and found Bentley Mobile Rv Repair. Gave the number a call and explained the situation to the very nice lady on the phone which I found out later was Brian Bentleys wife. She contacted her husband immediately and he returned the call and made arrangements to come to the race track and look at our refrigerator. After about 10 minutes he found the problem and was able to repair our refrigerator. The cost was more than reasonable. He was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed chatting with him. If I could give this company a zero star that's what it would receive. I hired this company to put in a RV System for a bathroom in our tiny home, (glamper). Brian, who is part owner of this company is the most incompetent person I've ever met. He quoted me a set price for the job. I specifically told him and his wife that I needed the job completed in one day, or at the most two days. I told them that I did not want to continue paying $150 for travel and they both agreed. When he came out, he sat for three hours talking about all the other jobs that he had done. When I try to walk away, he would start a new conversation about my project. He spent five hours that day. Three hours talking nonsense, one hour at Menards, and then he put in a couple hoses for the sink and demolished the cabinet for the sink. The next time he came out, he spent two hours at Menards, then one hour in his truck talking on the phone. He put two holes in the floor of the Glamper, one for the toilet, and one for the hose. He left that day with the holes open allowing all kinds of insects to come in. I paid him $800 because he said he had to buy equipment from which were only hoses attachments, 2 small pex hoses for the sink and faucets for the sink and shower. I got a call from his wife Shannon who wanted to charge me $1100 additional for 9 hours for no work done. I found out later, after having my job completed by another company, that the connections that Brian put in for the sink were put in incorrectly. Brian never put in any of the tanks, (which I purchased). I bought all of the other equipment also. And the items that he purchased at Menards, he took with him. I would advise anyone planning to use Bentley Mobile RV Repair, DO NOT!! If you do, BEWARE! The other company I had to hire to complete the job, was completed in one day by one man. read more

Scammers. Came out for hose leaking and fridge not working. Stuck a meter to some wires on my fridge and said it was fine and needed to warm up for 12 hours. That was false. He told me he was going to fix my hose connection, and all he did was Jimmy rig it. it would work with the hose not moving and in a specific spot. I BARELY touched it and he got mad and started talking trash about me when I shut my door. Loud enough for me to hear. He was even screaming at his wife on the phone to tell him stuff. VERY disrepectful. He then proceeded to tell me it was all my fault (even in text messages that he recently deleted) charged me $200 and nothing was done. Next day my water is spraying all over and fridge still doesn't work. I text him and he charges me another $100 to come out and "fix" it again. Yet all he did was once again Jimmy rig it together. he then left and once again my water didn't work. I told him come fix it and replace it like I asked to begin with. His response was "i dont have that part, just stop moving your hose. Its not my fault" proceeded to charge me ANOTHER $100. And guess what? Everything is still broke. $400 later and he claims nothing is his fault even though he couldn't even fix a simple hose leak. I went to the store myself and spent $50 and my problem is permanently fixed now. Do not hire this guy. Would give zero stars if possible. read more

Hired this company to do a canopy install. I was told that two would be coming out for the install. I told them I needed two because I have a bad back. Only one came, and when he got here he complained that the canopy wasn't fully assembled. I had it all laid out for him and he still complained. I had to show him and help him assemble the canopy and install it and during that time he continued to complain about the way the instructions said to install it. Now I have to get back on the ladder and fix his incorrect installation. During the install he spent time on the phone talking to somebody well I was on the ladder holding part of the canopy up. I had to supply my own ladders and tools. There's so much more I could say but I really don't have the time as I have to go fix my county I would not recommend this person read more

We had an "emergency" situation where we were planning on leaving for a 5 day trip. Of course, nothing goes smoothly...we experienced lighting (exterior clearance/parking/brake/turn) issues. Obviously dead in the water at that point. I tried for a couple hours and couldn't figure it out. I focused on the truck and the area where the problem "seemed" to exist. We called Bentley RV Repair for help. Although they are an hour ± away they responded to our home. Within a short time Brian arrived and located the issue, wires had been chewed in the front king pin area by mice that affected the rear lights. I was focused on the wrong area for repair all along. Within a very short time Brian had us up and running for our trip. The cost, in our opinion, was well worth it as it got us on our way before sunset. Thank you Brian and Bentley RV Repair, you saved our trip from being canceled and it turned out to be a great time!! Highly recommend this service...even an hour or so away they saved the weekend for our family. read more
