We attended this years polo party and had a wonderful time! It was our first time seeing a polo match so we were looking things up as the match progressed. We saw the women's team beat the men's team (girl power!) and also watched some of the rugby match too. Luckily we scored some nicely shaded seats with great views of the polo match in the Barrett Jackson area. We even brought our breakfast dishes from the munch box food truck to eat there too. We walked around a bit to see and support the vendors and got some mocktails and even a b12 shot! As much fun as the polo party was, it is unfortunately located at Westworld... I can't tell if it's a Westworld issue, a Pro-em issue or all of the above. There were several events happening at several area of the site so it seemed like the line for parking was unnecessarily problematic. At least parking only cost $10 that day. When we finally parked and got to the area we thought was the entrance, there was long line of people getting drink bands for alcohol so we got in line. When we were finally at the front of the line, we found out we didn't need to stand in that line at all. The line was for those wanting to participate in the wine tasting in the arts festival area that was outside of the polo party. We didn't see signs for the wine tasting fees so we just walked to the polo party entrance. At the entrance we observed the "no alcohol beyond this point" signs. When we were leaving, they wouldn't let us leave with water or our mocktails so we had to consume or throw them away. We understood their explanations that they don't know what is or isn't an alcoholic beverage so they were restricting all beverages. The sign should be changed to reflect that policy correctly. Since we had a less than positive experience when exiting, we decided not to participate in the wine tasting. We just walked through to view the art festival displays before leaving. Otherwise, we had a nice time and are looking forward to attending the polo party again next year! We'll know what to possibly expect next time around so we'll be better prepared! read more

I had free tickets from a sponsor to come to the 2023 event, and I wanted to experience this as my only reference to polo is probably from the Pretty Woman movie. It's exactly how the movie portrayed a polo game would be like. Lots of money, lots of champagne, funny hats, and not much attention to the game at all. We came here around 3:30 pm towards the end of the day, and basically, everyone was drunk here. Lots of beautiful women in pretty outfits and hats, so I did enjoy that. There were two art cars at the Riot Club tent and DJ music was thumping out of the tent. This is definitely the place where people come to be seen, get drunk, and party. Not exactly what I had imagined my first live polo game would be like. Food and alcohol are marked up, so be prepared for that. Because we came in later in the day, we just got waved into the Molina tent (don't think that would've happened otherwise). We did get to see some of the game, but we lost miserably to a team from NoLA. Only bathrooms are porta-potties, bring your hand sanitizer. Overall, it was an interesting anthropological experience for me, but it'll probably be the last one for me, unless something major changes. read more

Polo Match of the year!!!! My friend and I attended this year's Bentley Polo Match. The horses are always so beautiful.. The match itself was great as was the dog show. I had general admission tickets at $50.00 and ended up buying tickets for the tent thinking we'd at least find a table to stand at for an additional $250.00!! The answer to that is, no. If you want to really enjoy this event you're going to want to buy the higher end tickets that gets you an actual table to sit at north of $1k. Ours included standing at a table and none were available as they only had about 6 of them, 5 drink tickets and French fries ‍ The food vendor choices is a meat fest. Not any options for a healthier lunch. The best part was the hydration station with their mocktails and the drinks were free!! read more

These events are fun!!! Always happy to be invited honestly!!! This time I took another pal. This was my 3rd time attending so I was excited. i love the food trucks and swag that's passed out. I enjoy the photo opportunities and definitely the Auto displays throughout the grounds as well! YOLO! You attend these events to wear a hat and a cute outdoorsy outfit everyone knows this. The tent parties are nice too but, I'm not into crowds gathered under a small tent... in my opinion this tent should have been bigger since there's so much space on the grounds. This tent last year was Claustrophobic feeling and even though outdoors, I still wore a mask. A definite fun time guys! A couple of hours is all I needed and I've gotten a good time out of being outside. read more

Always a great time! From the matches, to the fashion show, to the music. I have been twice and each we have enjoyed ourselves. I hope next year there are rides from the parking lot to the gate but overall nothing bad to say. read more

I had a fun time at this event! A friend had bought a table at the million dollar mingle area. It was definitely nice having a table and they had a bar in that area. I can't speak for the other tents or general admission. But there were plenty of bars and food trucks, so there are plenty of options. The polo match was fun to see. There were also some other events like a dog show and fashion show. Some folks are super dressed up in fun hats, dresses while others are casual in shorts in a tshirt. The tents and special areas seem to be a little fancier. But there is a lot of walking, so definitely wear some comfy shoes. Parking is $10 cash as well. read more

Every year this gets better and better each tent is such a gathering place of all sorts, great place to people watch and enjoy the festivities, be sure to get those vip tickets as they are the best way to enjoy the event, complimentary catered food and beverages, great people to meet Ladies please make sure if you go, a gorgeous dress, and even more stunning hat and a pair of heels, gents an outlandish blazer and dress pants, a tie or bow tie and a pair of dress shoes please The best tents are neimans, and Molina tent buy either of those tickets and get into all of the days tents that you go to, Do note tho that the lines are long they still have not figured out how to manage vips, so come early, My review would be 5 stars however the lines are a bad issue so it stands at 4 stars read more

This polo exhibition and party at Westworld makes an attempt to be like the Phoenix Open or maybe the Kentucky Derby, but it is a feeble attempt. Yet it is strangely fun anyway. You get to see amateur polo (some of it very amateur), but occasionally the players get their act together and imitate the events you might see on television. Attendance was a lot less than I think they hoped. The VIP tent could have accommodated a few hundred instead of the 50 that were there, the sports bar was empty, and even the main tent where general admission was permitted was only half full. There were a half dozen food trucks, with food only moderately overpriced, a half dozen places to buy alcohol, and about twenty small tents with vendors trying, mostly in vain, to sell anything from botox treatments to flowery hats. A few fans dressed up but most wore everyday casual clothes, like me, which is too bad because it would be more fun if more of us took the event as what it wanted to be and pretended we were at Churchill Downs on that one day in May. Bottom line -- we spent a pleasant couple of hours on a beautiful day watching horses, eating 3-star food, and just wandering around. Here's hoping this event gets better and better in the future; it could be a real winner for Phoenix. read more

Have been coming to this event for many years. I have to say this is one of the worst organized events I continued to go to. They have so many issues with security VIP who gets in who doesn't get in wristbands no bands tickets Etc. You guys really need to get an event coordinator and plan this event properly. People pay good money to come here and watch the matches as well as the people and cars. It gets people in a bad mood when they cannot even get into the event when they've purchased VIP tickets and security does not recognize any difference. Once you are in the desired event tent things seem to become normal and food and drinks flow nicely with attentive staff beautiful girls and great drinks. The problem lies with the actually event coordination staff and security. Nobody seems to know what to do. They just tell you to talk to someone else. Come on guys get your stuff together you've been doing this event long enough. This should be a 2-star review for the event itself but since the sponsors do a good job it is 4 stars read more
