I've been here on many occasions and rarely leave without something to bring home to one of my three aquariums and/or our backyard pond. They have a vast array of freshwater aquarium fish, snails etc, as well as salt water, and fish for outdoor ponds (you'll make your way out the back door for this). They have pond plants, aquarium plants, rocks, driftwood, and more. Pretty much everything you might need for your set up or to get set up, they have. They are well staffed and their staff is incredibly knowledgeable. If you're unsure what you're looking for, or having an issue with your aquarium that has left you flummoxed, they can definitely help you through it. One of my favorite things is they have all their plants well labeled (beginner, intermediate, advanced), so you know which ones might require special lighting or co2. This is so helpful to ensure your aquarium is thriving. The only thing I'll mention is their fish prices are a little higher than some of the other aquarium spots in town. It's nice, because they're a one stop shop with everything you need. But, something to be aware of. Big fan of this spot! Get to it!

I have found that many other pet suppliers have a pretty dismal selection of cat toys, while offering plenty for dogs. Since I was in the neighborhood, I decided to stop in and check this place out. They have a lot to choose from. I don't know if they carry every type of cat food, but the selection was far more extensive than I expected. On this visit, though, I was mostly interested in toys. I found exactly what I was looking for. In fact, they had four different versions of tunnels for Stu to crawl through. I ended up buying one with a very unique design. The staff is helpful and friendly, plus they are very nice to my quiet and well-behaved pups as they sit in the cart with me while I shop if they are with me. I enjoy shopping at this location. It is clean, well-stocked, easy to navigate, and I often find great deals. They also have rewards programs on certain styles of food and such. I typically order online for pick up when something is needed in a pinch. The process is a breeze and the staff is always very communicative if something I selected has sold out (only a handful of times over the years where online inventory during a peek sale hasn't caught up to in person purchases so not bad, IMO). BUYER BEWARE! On…read more12/17/20 I purchased from "Whats In The Bowl Pet Shop" 15401 West National Ave. New Berlin WI. a "Huggle Hounds leather Bunny & Duck pack, #30794 under the name "Natural's." The price was $11.99 At the time of purchase I informed the sales person of my dog's breed, and age. I also mentioned that I wanted a "toy" that would be tuff, strong and most of all safe for her to play with. I was directed by the sales person to the afore mentioned toy. With her assurance that it would be perfect for my dog, thereby I purchased it for her. It must be stated that the reason I shopped at this "Premium Price Pet Store" is the perception that they are selling only "pet friendly" products and not the random, off shore products found at the larger chain stores. Unfortunately, in my case, that is only an illusion. Within less then 10 minutes my 10 month old Caviler had ripped a hole in the toy, had the Jute Fiber stuffing pulled out and the plastic squeaky insert in her mouth, which I had to pry from mouth to keep her from choking on! If I had not noticed this I have no doubt she would have been in serious trouble. I have NEVER seen a dog toy come apart so quickly! Yes. I know, there is a disclaimer on the back of the package that this is not a "toy." If not a toy, what is it, a wall hanging? I took the product back to the Pet Store, along with my receipt the next day. What occurred then only added insult to injury. I explained to the women behind the counter (owner?) what had happened. In what can only be described as an arrogant and insulting manner I was left with the impression that it was my fault for buying this item, and my dogs for putting it into her mouth! OMG! Whereby she informed me it was not their responsibility that I purchased this product! AT THE VERY LEAST; she should have said "I am very sorry this happened, can I give you a full refund, or help you pick out a more durable replacement?" That's called marketing 101 or "customer service." Which the "Whats In My Bowl Pet Shop," seems to have no knowledge of? I will take my business elsewhere, and encourage everyone I know to do the same. I am posting this review in hopes of keeping anyone else from making this kind of purchase and having more dire outcomes with their beloved pet.

She acts like she cares but this job isn't cut out for her. She cares only about money & ego! She lies a lot to inflate her ego and to get more donation money. I had to reach out to her over 10x for almost 6 months. To the point where the kittens turned into cats & then had to be put down bc she lied and played so many games with my cats lives! I heard that Happy Endings might get someone else to run their Shelter. PLEASE DO!!!!! Bc Rachael can not handle this role! I've known her for 2 years and getting any help from her was worse than pulling teeth! She's a master class at blowing smoke up ppls azz!
